CC library not opening on Indesign cc 2015.

Hi, IV ' e a problem with cc library on Indesign cc 2015.

I run the application normally, when I go to open the Panel of cc library the result is:

I connect with my account and on other programs (Photoshop, Illustrator etc) the Panel appear normally.

I have updated Indesign just today, but I don't think that is the problem because I've updated also other programs today still.

    I have all the latest updates to Suitcase Fusion 6 and Indesign CC 2015. I have the fonts that they are 'ON' in the suitcase, but when I open the files in Indesign displays only a partial selection of a font family. EX: Frutiger STD (OT) family is all about, but 47 Light Condensed appears as lacking in IND. If I open the file in Indesign 6.0, everything works very well, so it would seem that the problem may be with CC or suitcase has a bug that they need to fix (announcement to Extensis too).

    I tried the suggestions of the other posts, but nothing works.

    What I tried:

    • Restored preferences in Indesign

    • One replaced Mode Menu fonts 'name of the font of all research.

    • Restarted, rebooted, updated,... typical of troubleshooting scenarios.


    Any other suggestions?

    Sit down to set up files to run the tests that you have suggested, I got a response from Extensis. She suggested to clean the cache of fonts in the file menu of the suitcase. I had not thought to do this (not realizing that it was an option in the suitcase, using a cache cleaner in the past).

    It's done. A couple of weird things that happened, but after the closure of the programs again and re-opened, it worked. Hope that fixes it. Again, appreciate your help and advice for troubleshooting. Keep those in mind if it happens again, or as an alternative to other oddities of fonts.

    I recommend you do a clean install of all the Adobe Creative Cloud applications, to do that please follow the steps below:

    • Please check if you have installed browser security extensions, please disable them. (For example: AD BLOCK, Advisor to Mcafee website, toolbar of internet security etc.)
    • Disable the firewall on your machine.
    • Turn off the firewall of the security program installed on the computer Internet. (Norton 360 - disable the following in it: Surf safely, firewall, browser protection, download intelligence)

    These changes are temporary you can restore these changes back to normal once your creative cloud application is in place and functioning *.

    (1) uninstall Creative Cloud Desktop Manager:

    Using creative cloud | Uninstall the creative cloud desktop application

    2) Remove suite of files: ( If you do not see any folder skip this step )

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Application Manager

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\creative cloud files

    I have CS5 on my machine. I was sent a CS5 to work on through a file transfer. I can't open it. I get a message window that says Missing plug-in: SharedContent.InDesignPlugin the "SU16_66" document... INDD"uses one or more plug-ins that are not currently available on your system. You want to open anyway. When I click on Yes it doesn't let me open the file. It gives me this message. I tried to re - move it 3 times. This is a test for a possible job, I need to get this open!

    It can sometimes work if CS5 was already on the computer when you upgraded to El Capitan. If it works for you, more power to you.

    It does work for the majority of users. It almost never works if you install CS5 on El Capitan.

    I've done a few navigation for this question, but I don't see this problem. I guess I got the 7.0.2 update because everything is up-to-date.

    I created a CS4 file on a windows machine, but cannot open it with CS5 on my mac. I just got the error "Cannot open filename"... which is not very useful. Am I missing something?

    Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

    I have a new MacBook Pro 15 "with all of the memory/speed I need to work on folios. I am developing several folios.

    Downloads fail in case of success or not, do not load the Folio Builder I'm use to.

    DPS is not supported in InDesign CC 2015. You will need to install InDesign 2014 CC-by-side to use DPS tools, that you have used. See download and install Adobe Creative cloud applications to learn how to install the previous version of InDesign.

    Digital Publishing Solution (aka DPS 2015) is supported in InDesign CC 2015.

  • InDesign CC 2015 does not meet the opening when I opened home instead of work.

    I had a strange problem that looks like the others that I've seen in the forums, but when I followed the procedure that has worked for others, I'm no progress.

    I use Indesign CC 2015. The majority of my work, I do it from my office. Here, I am connected to wifi to society and have a wireless on our server network connection. When I'm at the office, Indesign works fine (no problem opening documents and no blocking). Every time I come home and I'm no longer on this network, Indesign does not open. The home screen is never spent loading icon which consists of four square grid.

    As I said, I tried the steps in other forums, including the displacement of the Indesign file in the bin without emptying (library > Application Support > Adobe > Indesign). It did not work. I tried to disconnect from the creative cloud and reconnect, but it seems that CC crashes when I try to close the session.

    Has anyone else had this problem before? It's the strangest thing. It only seemed to happen since the CC 2015 updated. I have been working on Indesign projects both at home and work without any problems in the past. The only other variable is that I recently bought a new Macbook Pro (retina, 15-inch, mid-2014) running 10.10.5.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Have you tried in the preferences > file handling > see the last used documents and change the value to 0?

  • Upgrade to Indesign CC 2015.5 - does not open and hangs on the splash screen

    I upgraded to CC 2015.5 2015.  After you have installed indesign, it allowed me to open the program once.  After closing the program, any attempt to reopen causes an error pop up during the splash screen that says "Adobe InDesign CC 2015 has stopped working" and leaves the program.  I uninstalled / reinstalled two times with the same results.  Other 2015,5 improvements seem to be fine, only the Indesign program is having issues.  Any advice would be much appreciated on how to fix or revert to the previous version that worked.

    We are working on resolving the issue and for the moment, please try the solution that we have identified.

    To work around the problem, please follow the steps below:

    Clear the Cache InDesign either by renaming the Cache folder or deleting it altogether. (It is best to rename the folder)

    The location of the cache folder: -.

    Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Settings\Application Data\Adobe\InDesign\------\Caches\

    Windows 7 or 10: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\InDesign\-\Caches\

    Macintosh: Drive hard/users/InDesign/Library/Caches/Adobe///.

    In addition, if your workflow requires you to work with the (different) library placed on the network, please make sure you close the library panel before leaving InDesign.

  • InDesign 2015 HOME SCREEN will not open.

    New InDesign CC (2015): WELCOME SCREEN does not open. Error message below is displayed when the program opens, from the home screen is set to open when the program opens. In addition, while in InDesign, if you manually open the home screen on the Help menu... same error. (Never seen that before; it did not with the 2014 version.)

    This can be corrected? I don't want to just DISABLE the Welcome screen... I would like to SEE what is on the Welcome screen.

    Can you confirm if the home screen works well in Illustrator CC 2015?

    Since the 2015 CC Illustrator and InDesign CC 2015 use exactly the same CEPHtmlEngine.exe, it works in Illustrator, but not in InDesign, I suspect that some of its files are corrupt or missing. Could you please try this?

    -Uninstall InDesign CC 2015.

    S ' there is all the remaining files in C:\Program Files\ADOBE\Adobe InDesign CC 2015, delete them.

    -Reinstall InDesign CC 2015.

    Hi all, I'm having a problem with my copy of ID CC 2015. I use the application on a computer to Win7 64-bit. As far as I know, we have no major update of the system or the changes in the last days.

    When I try to launch ID, I get an error message that says "Adobe InDesign CC 2015 has stopped working" but essentially, the splashscreen is displayed and the application attempts to initialize, but never completely starts because of the error. S

    I had this problem with the previous version of yesterday, so I've updated the app via CC this morning. The same problem persists.

    Anyone has a suggestion for what I could try before I have to call Adobe support and lose 2 hours on the phone?

    Exactly what I was expecting. We can solve this problem. It is related to MSVCR120. DLL file. There are two ways we can go about this:

    1 send me an email with your details to return call and I will get back to you to solve the problem.

    2 follow these steps in the exact order, and you can do it yourself:

    1 reset (rename or delete) files (en_US) InDesign preference files the and itinerant. Please see: InDesign and locations of support Preferences

    2 download the repair MSVCR files from this link: Download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 updated 4 of the official Microsoft Download Center

    3. download the first two files EXE (x 86 & x 64)

    4. run both of them one by one, choose the repair option.

    5 restart the computer after completing the execution of these two

    6. start InDesign and you should be good to go.

    I just run the update to 2015.3 CC Illustrator and Photoshop CC 2015.5. There is no update currently available for Indesign and according to my CC desktop application, Indesign is up-to-date. I use an iMac. InDesign does not open because I ran the update for Illustrator and Photoshop. I don't see how they are related, but this is how it happened. I could open Indesign very well yesterday, but since the update when I select the Indesign icon in my doc, he bounced back to start the update and then nothing. When I opened the window "force quit", it says in red "Indesign is not responding. No idea what to do to solve this problem. Should I uninstall and reinstall Indesign through the creative cloud?

    Hello, set level to 2015 2014 version Ind. (windows 7 64-bit, 6 GB of ram, Intel Xenon 3550 W). First 2015 is extremely slow to commissioning.

    However, most annoying problem is that in trying to open the files in the Explorer or the bridge, I get a note this file extension is not recognized and/or related

    a program and does not open. However, I can open the file in indesign 2015. Save the file again in the 2015 version does not resolve the problem.

    To solve the problem in Windows Explorer, you must change the file association in Windows for the extension .indd. Not being is not a Windows user, I leave it to others to explain

    However, the Bridge has its associations of files in Bridge preferences > file type Associations.

    We use a type (Universal Type Server) with Adobe CC Manager.

    When you open a file in InDesign CC 2015 I get an error: saying "original Version missing."

    The original version of the x of the fonts in the document is not found in the database of the universal Type.

    BUT no fonts are really missing in the file.

    When to skip or cancel, the message keeps inviting every 5 seconds when working in the file.

    I just Extensis support on this issue:

    "Pick best match when original is missing" must be activated in the preferences to activate automatic universal Type.

    You can find it in the menu Type in InDesign.
