  Certifcation document used to protect my application a PDF file.  Have encountered a problem where in the document of certification becomes invalid.  AM also able to reproduce the error when working with PDF files outside of my request. Here are the steps

  1. create a PDF with the text 1 field. Set a default value in the field for example Testing

  2. certify the document using file-> save as Certified Document

  3. close and reopen the document.  There is a message bar of the document on the top with the text 'this document's certified... »

  4. press Ctrl + F, and then find the value in the text field (say, Test).  Search text is highlighted and selected.

  5. go in the advanced-> sign & certify-> validate all Signatures.

  6. the signature of the certification becomes blocked and the message bar becomes "Certification is invalid.

  Has anyone encountered this problem or any idea why this happens?

  It looks like the find function creates a tree outline Ghost (aka bookmarks) to facilitate navigation in the file. When you re - validate the signature of the function of validation detects the hierarchy tree in memory, said to herself "that doesn't belong here" and transforms the invalid signature.

  I know what your next question is, when this will be fixed and why I don't have an answer. It's an interesting edge case, but actually the file is not damaged by the fact that it happens right after the signing. Given that you can close and reopen the file and the signature goes back to be valid is not a high priority bug. I wouldn't seeing a fix for this in the near future.

  I am fairly new to the eSign service and have just begun to send a request for signatures to my clients. One that I had returned came up saying "Certification by _ is not valid" and that the "Signature is invalid" and it listed 3 reasons - see a clip from the screen below...

  

  I have no idea why the certification and signature are invalid; When I tested the eSign service with my colleagues (sending, signing and returning to me), it was just beautiful.

  I wonder if demanding my signatories to use a biometric signature would solve this?

• IOVP NIC certification broadcast test case failed due to "VM is in an invalid POWER State"

  Hi, I use workbench 3.0.2 to run VMware Esxi 5.5 U2 NIC certification.

  I spent the first 3 automated cases: Install::Driver:VIBwithTestKey, Install::Config:Driver Update, Version_Check.

  Now I'm stuck with the case of dissemination because of the error "VM is in an invalid POWER State", but it's ok for me to start the VM manunally.

  2 virtual machines are created and fully automatically started on host by workbench, and two of them are assigned the same name 'vtafVM1_192.168.49.168_4740'.

  I fixed it by name NIC different setting on the host and to the. If I put the test both network adapters on the host and the slot the same name, for example, the two vmnic4, starting the virtual computer fails; If I put one like vmnic4 and the other as vmnic5, the virtual machine starts ok.

  I think it should be a bug in the combination of test IOVP NIC.

  Try turning off all your test vm1 ~ vm16 initially. then run the test.

• Invalid SSL certificate

  My company uses Citrix Receiver to allow us to connect to the House to work.

  I installed the latest version of the plug of the receiver in and all have El Capitan, I don't go through safari but rather connect by Miss this step and launch citrix directly, pop in my user name, password and rsa token details.

  At this point, I see a message invalid SSL certificate.

  Any ideas how I can check whats wrong, are the certificates stored in the keychain?

  Looks like you have a SSL certificate, which plays well with El Capitan. I would use the troubleshooting for this in the following article to help you here:

  OS X El Capitan: If your certificate isn't being accepted

  If a certificate is not accepted, it may have expired or it may be invalid for the way in which it is used. For example, some certificates may be used to establish a secure connection to a server, but not for the signing of a document.

  The most common reason that a certificate is not accepted, is that the root CA certificate is not approved by your computer. To have your computer trust a certification authority, you must add the certificate authority to a keychain and set the certificate of trust setting.

  1. If an application (e.g. Safari) displays the root certificate of the CA as part of the CA message, drag the icon of the certificate root on the desktop.

  2. Drag the certificate on the Keychain Access file, or double-click the certificate file.

  3. Click menu Keychain, choose a set of keys, and then click OK.

     If you are prompted, enter the name and password for an administrator on this computer user.

  4. Select the certificate, and then choose file > read the information.

  5. Click the trust triangle to display the certificate trust policies .

  6. To override the trust policies, choose trust settings that you want to replace in the pop-up menus.

  We have a CPO 2.3.1 who refuses to connect to vCenter (see newspaper excerpt at the end of the post).

  Recently, we changed our server vCenter (part of a 5.1 update).

  We tried the following workarounds:

  • Remove and add all the elements of the platform from the portal using services SE
  • Re import automation packs (4 of the Starter Edition v2.3.1.38)
  • Re on the keystore password

  No change at all...

  Do you have an idea on how to fix this?

  You have an invalid key file because the HTTPS certification has changed. You must remove the old keystore file and restart the OPC Server and then reconnect / run something against vCenter.

  It is also possible to host Adatper framework/java problems I've seen often.

  It is good that you have told us you're OS x 10.7.5 (current is MacOS 10.12), because it is your problem.

  iOS 10 requires iTunes 12.5.1 or later to communicate.  iTunes 12.5.1 requres OS X 10.9.5 or later version.
