  • v125W 16 GB USB Flash Drive reporting disk full when moving some files

Let me apologize in advance if I put this topic in the wrong forum!

Hi all! I received a v125w 16 GB USB Flash Drive for Christmas (link). Works just fine until I went to move some files .iso to DVD on it so that I can transfer them on my netbook to watch while I'm away from home for long periods of time. in any case.

The .iso files are standard DVD rips of discs I own, so the question of the integrity of the hacking or file is not a problem here. The .iso files work very well on my desktop, I can be read and can also burn backups without a hitch.

Each .iso file is at 4.35 concerts after a tear. When I try to drag and drop them on the flash drive, windows tells me that the destination disk is full and I need to free up space. I get this message, even when there is absolutely no other files on the flash drive.

I put the .iso file into a new empty folder and tried to move in this way, but it gives me the same results. So I threw a bunch of other files in a folder (any of my .iso files) and got 7 concerts in total. He moved very well in the flash player.

I ripped a DVD of my son and the resulting file is 3.28 GB in size. I can move this .iso on the FlashDrive without problem.

But now I'm at the end of my rope as to why this is happening and what to do now. It has no sense to me at all. If someone here on the Forum could provide some advice on what I need to I would really appreciate it. I prefer not having to sit on hold with HP my entire weekend.

Which disc format is your USB drive formatted in? (FAT, FAT32 or NTFS)  Fat you are limited to 4 GB.

    B. do you use a third-party burning software on your computer for CD and DVD burning?

    C. Have burn you TV shows successfully earlier?

    D. do you have an error when burning?

Burning a TV show on a DVD can take some time to complete, depending on three factors: the length of the speed of your burner DVD, added video files and resources of your computer system. Wait for a while and see if it ends.

    1. Click the Start button, click all programs, and then click Windows Media Center.
    2. If Media Center is not full screen mode, click the maximize button.
    3. Insert a blank recordable DVD into your DVD burner.
    4. Click on the notification, burn a CD or DVD which appears.

If you do not see the notification, on the Windows Media Center start screen, navigate to tasks, and then click Burn CD/DVD.

    1. In the Select the disc Format page, click Vidéo DVD, and then click Next.
    2. Type a name for your DVD, and then click Next.
    3. On the Select media page, click recorded TV or video library, and then click Next.
    4. Select the items you want to burn (check marks appear on or next to the items that you select) and then click Next.
    5. To add more TV shows or video files on the disc, on the Review & Edit page, click add more.
    6. Repeat steps 5 through 7 until you have added all the shows recorded TV and videos you want to burn.
    7. On the page of review & edit , click Burn DVDs.
    8. In the opening of copy notification, click Yes.
    9. Once the disc is burned, in the notification filling burn , click done.

I created a slide show in Photoshop Elements 10.  I then clicked on exit to begin the process of creating a DVD.  When the show transferred to first Elements 10, only the lower part half each frame dia appeared and thus produced a slide show DVD with only the bottom half of the frame.  I then tried to burn a new DVD of slide show that I had burned successfully on a previous occasion.  By clicking again on the production and following the menu, I had the half frame again when I arrived for the DVD burning program in first Elements 10.  Can someone give a help?

  • Not found DVD Maker "DVD burner" message when DVD writer works well with other programs

    Hello

I just created a DVD with AVS Video Converter and burned a DVD with no problems and created later a film with Windown Movie Maker, which worked well, it has exported to Windows DVD Maker, again not a problem, but when I click on burn, I get a not found message "DVD burner". How can I fix, I know the burner works very well because it works with other programs... And Windows DVD Maker was working fine until recently and outside a updated Windows Vista, I did not further updated or changes to the computer.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Froggie_UK,

Since this problem you encounter began after that windows update, you can use the System Restore tool to return your computer to an earlier point in time. The tool using System Restore may not necessarily help you determine the problem. When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, the programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

Before you start Please back up your data

To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:

    ·         Click Start, type System Restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    ·         In the System Restore dialog box, click choose a different restore point, and then click on Next.

    ·         In the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.

    ·         Click Finish.

    ·         The computer restarts and system files and settings are back to the State they were in when the restore point was created.

If it is an update, the best way to solve this problem is to apply only updates one at a time to determine which updates is causing this problem.

Click on start-> all programs-> Windows Update, click on change settings in the left menu. Select download updates but let me choose whether to install them, click OK. When you are alerted to install a new update, in this window, click updates see, uncheck all updates and select one at a time, install it, restart your computer, test and update. Once you find the update either continue to ignore it, or look for it at http://support.microsoft.com/.

We hope this resolves the issue and look forward to hearing back from you on your results.

  • CD/DVD Rom drive - disk not detected when you try to play a movie or a cd.

I tried everything in the book according to what the technical support guy me to HP.  Gave me a new optical drive.  I made the purchase and asked the guy.  How do I get the driver if it does not appear in my device manager?  He said just to install the new optical drive, and it will download automatically.  Yes, it was the most ridiculous thing.  He did his best to convince me.  Now, I received the new optical drive and even absurdity.  It won't work.  Try to get assistance and spend hours on the phone with them and no one can help me.  Wow.  Scam, scam, I don't really know what to call it.

    Hello

Maybe it wasn't the drive first:

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both

contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
    do it right.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and

Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive

Given that this was written in 2011, I'm sure you understood something at this stage. However, the post also has much a views, so I think it might be a persistent problem, so I'll post my solution:

When I copied the file SRIM - 20xx.e in a folder of SRIM-20xx under Program Files, I had a "Disk full" error when trying to extract the files, even though I had a lot of space on my hard drive and without limits. After a bit of messing around, I like the solution is to move the SRIM-20xx folder on the desktop, and then unpack it. After extraction, which leaves you with a lot of seemingly useless files, double-click CONFIGURATION and the installation will begin appropriate. Installation will create a file under Program Files, there will be no need to make things happen later, simply remove the meantime extract the folder to your desktop computer.
