  • End action will not run due to the action of late about final chapter

I'm still doing my first project, and I get this error message: end action will not run because of the end about final chapter action.

    My calendar:

I have a unique calendar consisting of a couple of reviews. There is a "chapter Starting Point" yet and 3 additional Points of chapter, I added.

    My goal:

    • A main Menu with
      • A 'Play' button that simply plays the entire timeline, beginning to end, and when finished go back to the main Menu.
      • A 'Scènes' button which brings up a submenu
    • A submenu with 4 buttons of chapter, which each would play a chapter in the timeline and return to the same/auto submenu when finished.

    My end Actions:

It seems that the end Action is necessary for what is defined. Thus,.

    • The Action of 'end' of the timeline is to return to the main Menu.
    • The Action of 'end' for each chapter in the timeline must return to the submenu.

    My flowchart

    • First thing that works is the main Menu.
      • Links Play button of the timeline (which the end action is back to the main menu).
      • The scenes in the submenu button links
    • In the submenu, each chapter button links to the chapter Point suitable in the timeline (each chapter has an end action to return to the submenu).

All of this makes perfect sense to me and it reflects exactly what I want to do. If clearly, it won't work!

When I check my project, I get the error mentioned above. I do not understand how it is even possible to avoid this error: your timeline MUST have an end action, your timeline must have at least a chapter point and each chapter MUST have an end action.

Thus, by definition, it seems that still

    • REQUIRES the timeline for action to end,
    • REQUIRES the last chapter on the timeline to have an end action, and
    • Gives you an error when you do what it takes.

    What the...?

    My solution

I was finally able to work around the problem by creating a playlist of "chapter" for each chapter, that is, I created a "Chapter 1 Playlist" where the content has been a link to the chapter Point 1, a "Chapter 2 Playlist" where the content has been a link to Chapter 2 Point, etc.

Then in my submenu, instead of linking to a Chapter Point, I've linked to a list of reading chapter instead and in each Chapter Playlist I put an end to "return to the submenu" action

It worked - but it really seems kludgy and I can't help but shake the feeling that I do something wrong or I'm doing something good?

Your "Workaround" is the current main method. Chapter Playlists are a "function". Yes, it seems kludgy, but it avoids the use of substitutions, which are necessary for your first method and cause many headaches without end users.

Chapters DO NOT need action to end and your workaround solution, should not have their.

Main timeline, end to the main menu action.

Chapter playlists, end to the submenu action.

No further action at the end of editing/chapter.

  • When the DB is not accessible due to the error of the archiver

    DB version: 11.2.0.4

OS: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4

We manage DBs in a banking environment. At least once a month, in one of our DBs, we have the failure due to

ORA-00257: archiver error. Connect internal only, until this just released.

This is sometimes caused by huge batch application without first informing the DBA.

Once we reached the archiver error, our main goal is to bring the DB back to business as soon as POSSIBLE without affecting the valuation of DB.

DB failure can be very stressful for the shift, s/n as he or she should join a bridge and explain the technical stuff to managers yelling at you and to solve the problem at the same time.

Brief history of our backup strategy:

    -----------------------------------------------------

Most of our DBs critics have full backups (Level0) Sunday and Wednesday night and incremental backups (level 1) the remaining days.

We've been busy DBs archivelog backups clocked at 11:00, 15:00 and 19:00 without DELETING all THE ENTRIES.

When we are faced with ORA-00257: archiver error, should we be running

    backup ARCHIVELOG all the remove all entries;

    or

backup archivelog delete all input; # Not ALL shown in red above after the archivelog keyword

    If I understand correctly,

backup archivelog all the remove all entries; backup all archivelogs independently to know if an archivelog or archivelogs have been saved in a previous backup task n + removes some archived logs that have been saved.

backup archivelog delete all input; will be only backs up archivelogs that are not supported by previous backup jobs + removes some archived logs that have been saved.

If my above assumption is correct, then backup archivelog delete all entries; will be faster because it will not unnecessarily backup archivelogs that already benefit from the top and, therefore, saving time. Am I wrong?

The BACKUP ARCHIVELOG command requires a specifier archivelog - as for example 'ALL' or "NOT SAVED ON DISK 1 TIMES".

You cannot issue simply DELETE a BACKUP of ARCHIVELOG...

  • iDVD will not open due to the required debugging atos. Help please I need to produce DVDs with direct access to scenes and have only used iDVD for the years

I use iDVD to produce videos of my marriage. Latest updates of operating system, the program requires an administrator password to enable atos to continue debugging, and upon entry, iDVD just stops. Is there a way to get around this?

    Hey there WAPhoto,

I understand that you experience a problem when you try to open iDVD on your computer. I would suggest a troubleshooting step for you that can solve this problem. Please, go to your library folder by using the information in this link:

In the Finder, click the menu go to the menu bar, and then choose one of the following:

Library: Hold down the Option key, and then choose library.

OS X El Capitan: go directly to a specific folder

    https://support.Apple.com/kb/PH22187

From there, navigate to your Preferences folder. In this folder, find the plist labeled "com.apple.iDVD.plist" and move it to this folder on the desktop.

Out of this folder and go to the Caches folder. In this folder, find the folder named com.apple.iDVD and move the file named 'Cache.db' in this folder on the desktop as well.

At this point, you can close the Finder window and relaunch iDVD. If iDVD opens without a problem, you can move the files that you moved to the desktop to the trash and continue to use iDVD as you wish.

Looks like the drive has a problem, possibly a cleaning disc might help if he and the
below are questionable solutions to what sounds like a hardware problem.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both

Please do not type in capital letters as it is difficult to read and considered to be shouting.

  • Satellite Pro L100 - DVD will not turn even upward

My friend gave me an old Satellite Pro L100 PSLA4E 005009EN to look at. He acknowledges not or read the DVD. I tried using multimedia Nero, Cyberlink and VLC players, but they can't watch a DVD. A CD will play without a problem, but a DVD will not yet run abreast.

When I look in my computer it says that a TSST Corp CD/DVD TS-L632M is installed, but when I look at the edge of the disc itself, it says DVD. R/RW with lightscribe? The software is also the original software yet.
Since the downloads for this model of Toshiba page, I see that the TSST DVD - RAM drive was equipped initially to the laptop so I'm assuming that a DVD - RW was equipped afterwards?

I find the hardware changes in device if Manager shows nothing. If I try to update the drivers found nothing? In desperation I tried to reinstall the drivers from the Toshiba site, but it does not help?
If this is the case why Windows XP does not recognize a DVD - RW?

If someone sees something I missed please?

    Hey,.

Different laptops come with a different material maybe if the laptop was supplied with this player, but in my opinion it of important either.

The fact is if DVD is not recognized it seems to be a hardware malfunction, but what you can do is cleaning the lens of the player with a Microfiber towel. Do it carefully you don't zero or destroy the lens (dust could be on the lens). After that he try again if it will recognize a DVD.

Otherwise, the disc must be replaced and contact an authorized service provider. Guys can order a compatible drive and replace it. :)
