CD player crashes when printing on HP printer

The last update to Adobe Reader DC has caused a few problems for me on my Win7 pro 64 machine.  When I send a document to print on my HP Laserjet 600 M602, a dialog box appears which advises it is preparing the document. This dialog box stops usually somewhere between 30 and 50 percent.  Then the program stops responding and does not yet, and the task should be completed.  Maybe once out of every 10 tent program is able to actually print something.  The other 9 times, the print job is never further than the dialog box.  If you try and cancel the print, then that is to be tweaked, the program crashes and freezes completely.  The question seems to be isolated with this printer, because when I send the document to print on my Canon printer, it works without any problem.

I tried a lot of different documents, but it seems that the results are the same, regardless of the size or contents of the .pdf files.

Hi tbudd1738,

Try to disable Protected Mode. Open Acrobat > Edit > Preferences > Security (Enhanced) > uncheck enable protected at Startup Mode > OK. Restart the player, and then try to print.

Let us know the results.

Thank you!

Shivam

  • CC 2014 Illustrator crashes when printing

On 20 June, I came across this post section of the forums on InDesign InDesign crashing when printing RIP Fiery. August 07, went out a patch that fixed the issue many people have seen. Unfortunately, the patch does not work for Illustrator CC 2014.

Someone know if Adobe has released a patch, or know if they work on an updated? For more than three months he began to arrive, and our users always have problems with printing.

    Hi Sean,.

With the last update AI CC 2014, this problem has been resolved. Please update the AI CC 2014 application using the creative application Cloud (for update exit & restart CC app).

  • InDesign CS4 crash when printing... "' Macromedia ' apparent culprit...

(Sorry if this has found its way to the bad advice Forum: I can't seem to find a way to the appropriate InDesign CS4 'Community' to publish it in!)

My Mac of InDesign CS4 version 6.0.6 version started crashing when you try to print.

The Crash log shows that the individual has crashed the thread in order to always include the line:

    com.macromedia.Flash Player.authplaylib 0x1c5ac2dd ExternalPlayer_Initialize + 1864739

.. which is repeated twice, with different similar numbers just before and after "ExternalPlayer_Initialize".

I guess that there is a problem with InDesign calling "macromedia. '" Flash Player"instead of Adobe Flash Player, but I don't know where or how to change the words 'macromedia '. Flash Player"to encourage the program runs correctly.

Note: The program has been installed on a Mac that had disappeared and was found and returned, but in the meantime we would have bought a Mac replacement. InDesign has been uninstalled and then some Mac initially lost, and a previous full backup of this Mac was then restored on the new Mac, so that was a complete copy of the original (.. so respect for restrictions on use..)

After that the program was restored on the new Mac, it prints more.

    Any help or suggestions, please?

  • Pages and Numbers crash when print drivers Toshiba

In my office, I have a black and White Copier 857 of Toshiba e-studio and a Toshiba 4555C color copier, who never gave me problems printing on the network from a PC or Mac before El Capitan. Since he joined some of the Mac (some MacBooks, some iMacs, liberation of the years from 2011 to 2015) to El Capitan (all versions up to and including 10.11.4), I met a strange behavior when you try to change printers in Pages or in number on all of these Macs (no problems with the PC, regardless of the version of Windows). The exact location is:

-Open the Pages or numbers and starts with an existing document or a new document

-Bring up the print dialog box

-Change the printer active 857 c 4555 or vice versa

-Pages/numbers instantly crashes with the following error report (I don't publish the complete stack trace unless someone finds it useful):

Crashed thread: 0 dispatch queue: com.apple.main - wire

    Exception type: EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION (SIGILL)

    Exception codes: 0000000000000001 0 x, 0 x 0000000000000000

    Note the exception: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY

    Request for clarification:

Crashing on the exception:-[NSMenuItem supportedPPDOptionKeys]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x7ffa04cbe8d0

Note that this happens only (so far in my tests) in Pages, Numbers and curiously, Google Chrome (but only if you use the dialog box print system). It does not occur in Keynote, Safari, TextEdit, or all the productivity applications from Microsoft, nor when printing test pages from the printers and scanners preferences window. It also does not occur when moving from one of the problems Toshibas completely different printers (HPs, brothers, Epsons), or vice versa - only between the Toshibas. I tried:

    -Delete the printer preferences

-Configuration of the drivers of Toshiba to "pretend", that printers are different models

-With the help of Hello, PPI or LPR to connect

-Remove all equations in partial derivatives of Toshiba and SDPP/library and re - install the drivers from scratch

    -New and old drivers Toshiba

-Ensure, Pages and Numbers are the latest versions: 5.6.1 (2562) and 3.6.1 (2566) respectively

    -Various updates of El Capitan

    -New installation of El Capitan

No luck. Same behavior, no matter what machine or El Capitan version I try on. Unfortunately, I don't have other models Toshiba to test. I would be recognizing all thought - I understand that the answer could end up being 'complain to Toshiba of their pilots', but I thought it was worth a try here first. Thank you!

I would say that you are looking for in a bug report. A all Pages, a copy of the numbers.

In each, open the app, go to the menu of the application (Pages or numbers) and choose to produce (application name) return. Use the bug report category and give a detailed description of how to reproduce the results you've met. Repeat for other affected applications.

    Kind regards

  • Printer driver crashes when printing with Office 2013/8 64-bit Windows

    Printer: HP Color LaserJet CM1312nfi

Printer driver: V5.1 (to date, downloaded from the HP support Web site) or generic V5.6

    OS: Windows 8 Professional 64-bit

When I try to print an Excel document with Excel 2013 and V5.1 printer driver, the program freezes and must end with the Task Manager. This always occurs with the same document, but not with all the documents. Program also crashes when opening the preview before printing to the same document.

The same document prints fine with V5.6 generic print driver and with the driver supplied with Windows 8.

The same document prints fine with the driver version 5.1 on Windows 7 and Office 2010. The combination of Windows 7/Office 2013 has not been tested. Windows 8/Office 2010 combination has also not been tested.

When I try to print an empty document with the word 2013 and the generic printer V5.6, the program driver crashes and must end with the Task Manager.

My conclusion is that the HP printer drivers have a problem with Windows 8 or office 2013 or a combination of both.

The printer driver supplied with Windows 8 and is installed automatically is useful as a temporary workaround, but it lacks some options, e.g. manual duplex.

Upon request, I am ready to send the Excel document by e-mail for verification of the problem.

For any help or suggestion will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    ULI

  • crashes when printing selected

    Win 7 Pro

    PS 6

Every so often PS crashes when you try to toprint. I put hand on taking care of earlier and they told me in the trash my preferences. However, I don't want to have to do that whenever it happens. What do you think is at fault?

    Quantum Hi 123,

    Hope you are doing great.

You can take a backup of the preference and then trash the original file located \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Adobe Photoshop CS6 Settings preference file, copy this folder settings and paste it on the desktop as a return to the top.

There is no particular reason, it may be because of obsolete printer drivers, recently added stock or color chart or any new change made

    • Make sure that your windows is up to date.
    • Printer drivers and the PS is up-to-date.

Windows 7 is very favorable CS4. It is not the concern here. Look for this link.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/details.aspx?type=software& p = Adobe % 20Photoshop % 20CS4 & v = Adobe & uid = 11 & l = en & pf = 1 & pi = 7 & os = 64-bit

You can try to run if Compatibility Mode to see if that fixes anything.

Right-click on the file Photoshop.exe Properties > compatibility. Select "run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select Windows XP (Service Pack 2)

If Windows object to save the changes because of permissions, try this way:

    (1) in a window of my computer or Windows Explorer, open this folder:

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

If this folder does not exist, then you are using 32-bit Windows, and you can open the following folder instead:

    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash

(Note: this folder exists on Windows 32-bit and 64-bit, but on 64-bit Windows Firefox use the Flash player in the place SysWOW64 folder.)

    (2) check a file named mms.cfg:

    (A) If mms.cfg exists, drag it in your Documents folder , where you can change it without being bothered on administrator privileges

    (B) If there is no such thing as mms.cfg open your Documents folder, right click > new > text file and the name of the new file mms.cfg

    (3) mms.cfg Documents opened in a text editor such as Notepad. Add this on its own line (I have the latter):

    ProtectedMode=0

Save the file and close Notepad.

    (4) press and hold the Ctrl and the mms.cfg file reglisser to the Flash folder to make a copy, keep the original documents

This change should take effect the next time you restart Firefox (allow a few minutes for all the Flash of the processes in memory to terminate right out of Firefox).

I have a Canon 8350CDn... When I try to print to this printer from these apps, Office 2013, Notepad, Wordpad immediately crash.

Other applications, including IE10, Firefox, ACDSee, Acrobat, all print just fine. It's only the Windows/Office products that crash.
