cDAQ module signals from 5 to 2000 Hz genarete

Hello

I am looking for an output module of the cDAQ which can generate signals of frequency from 0 to 2000 Hz

Thank you

Prashant

Hello, UPRR.

As long as the module has a refresh rate higher than 20kS/sec, then you should be fine. so NI 9263, NI 9264, NI 9265 and NI 9269 should be good for you.

Kind regards

  • Find channels and cDAQ modules

I have looked around the previous messages, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

In most of my experience, I've implemented some DAQ and once the modules and channels are all in place, which is where they stay forever.

Since I know things will not move, I create tasks in DAQmx.

I'm working currently on a new installation program, but the problem is that in things cDAQ will not be in the same place every time.

The application must read a number of strain gauges, which will be connected to the NI 9235 modules.

It will take place anywhere from 1 to 3 modules attached, and they can be in one of the 8 available cDAQ chassis slots 9172.

In addition, within a given module, anywhere from 1 to 8 channels will be connected.

So basically, I guess my questions are running:

    (1) how many modules are connected and where?

    (2) in each module, the number of channels is turned on and how much is empty.

From there on, I use DAQmx palette to take care of things.

    Thank you!

So with every new start of the program, you will have a known device (your strain gauge device), but unknown channels. Here's how I attacked only a few years ago...

    • DAQmx create a task to create a job.

    • Make a constant table of all known possible channels. Say that it is 8 cells and compare that to an array of channels USED, making false tracks off the chains 'Unused' and the names of real channel out of used ones. Under certain conditions to check which ones which is used to remove the appropriate channel and add the DAQmx virtual channels properly. The VI snapshot below goes into the details. I brought not only the channels, channels, such as min/max properties and bridge information. My VI also made bridge removal, under certain conditions, depending on sensor that the user wanted to null (that part is not shown.)

This code isn't super sleek, but I hope this gives you the ideas come from.

  • How can I restore signal from my Mac Pro to my Viewsonic monitor, connected by VGA?

I have a Pro Mac OSX version 10.7.5 running. Trendy top is a monitor 24 inch Viewsonic, the only monitor connected. Last week, everything was fine. I stopped him all night and the next morning, when I tried to start, there was no signal from the Mac to the screen.

The screen displays a 'No Signal' message.

I checked the entry on the monitor, and it is correctly set to PC.

The computer starts normally. I can hear him do his thing.

The monitor starts up normally. No flashing or spots.

I tried restart, disconnect the monitor from the computer, just stop and unplug it, then reconnected. I tried to plug the old monitor (using VGA connection) and start again, with the same result.

I tried to recall the NVRAM (found the instructions on this site) and it made no difference.

It would be appropriate to get a HDMI cable to connect the?

It seems to me that if the computer does not recognize the monitor, try another cable wouldn't make any difference, but I'm really an 'end user' at this stage and would appreciate any advice.

    Thank you!

I have a slightly new wireless router and the PC is always connected like this, but in the last days he will not pick up any signal from my router or our hot spots of our my touch 4g cell phone.

It will not work so hard cable...

Occasionally, he'll go get a weak signal, but I think there out crapped on me, anyone else having this problem?

Warranty has expired 3 weeks ago! Pissed! I think they do it on purpose.

If the antenna wire is not damaged or not connected, I would consider looking at an ASUS, Linksys, D-Link or Netgear PCIe x 1 or wireless USB adapter to replace the original one. Here is a selection of Newegg.

  • Device vs. cDAQ Module

I have an executable I don't unfortunately have the LabView vi source for.  The program is used for data acquisition.  It refers to a defined device NI Max (Dev1 and Dev2).  I've been using the software with a combination of 9162 9234/USB USB.  When it is plugged into the laptop, this combination is presented as a DevX NI Max and therefore was found by the software.  We started recently to replace our 9162 modules with single slot CDAQ 9171 modules.  Unfortunately it is plugged into the laptop the software does not recognize this combination of module.  With the original configuration the module 9234 present only as a DevX.  With the current configuration of the module 9234 is a subset of the carrier 9171.  I think that this, why the software does not recognize the new e-mail.  Is there a way I can create a virtual device that will reference the cDAQ module and simulate the original installation?

In a Word, NO, you must update the code.

  • With the help of modulated signal pulse width (square wave) to control when a signal is enabled or disable

With the help of modulated signal pulse width (square wave) to control when a signal is enabled or disable

    Hello all

I am using a modulated signal to labview created pulse width (square wave) to control when a signal is activated or not.

Here is my logic and a concrete example:
    (1) the wave source signal is continuous
    (2) use a PWM (square wave) created in labview to control when the signal is enabled or disabled
    (3) if the PWM (amplitude) signal is superior to 0 play signal PWM is not greater than 0 do not play signal.

I use actually this to the sequence step / pulse several distinct magnetic coils using my audio card (which has several channels of audio output), I have a signal in labview played constantly.  As to compare it to the PWM (square wave) which controls whether or not the signal is played on each separate channel.  That way I can control which coil is on and offshore and in what order they are activated.

I couldn't find an edge detection for a square wave created in labview, so I tried the limits, but it doesn't seem to work unless I change the phase manually and it only goes 1-1.  I'm just trying to compare the PWM (edges of the square wave) already created by labview / play a signal if the pulse is greater than 0 and it shuts off the signal, if she is less than 0.

Should I do this another way

    TIA

    Hello

    ·         What operating system is installed on the computer?

Method 1: Follow the steps and check if that helps:

    (a) first of all you need a video cable to make the physical connection. For a better image quality, you must connect to the computer to the TV using standard VGA ports or via DVI to HDMI cable provided your TV supports these ports.

    (b) open the "display settings" in your computer and activate the output to the TV screen. You can reflect the content of your computer on the TV or extend the display as a double screen control.

    (c) pick up your TV remote and switch to "External inputs" in the menu. You need to change the value by default "Video 1" to a different selection which may be "HDMI 1" or "video 2" depending on how you made the connection. "

Important: Make sure you connect the cable to the TV before turning on the computer, because sometimes it may not recognize the external display.

You may also change the resolution of your TV screen using the display settings in your panel of control remains the image may appear distorted.

  • TouchSmart 610 unable to receive the signal from the configuration box

I have HP 610 TV tuner equipped touchsmart all-in-one.  TV work very right up until a few days ago, when I couldn't have a signal from the cable box.  Box has changed and cables without result.  Tried a HDMI cable, but can't find the source selection.  Hung a small tv for the area with a perfect image, so that the excluded the cable/box issue.  Very grateful for any suggestions/advice/help.  Thank you!

    Hi again SuZQT,

It is good to hear from you!

To enable your system to receive a signal once more, I recommend you to return your system to a previous restore point before the problem occurred. This can be done by following the steps described in this document on using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 7).

Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your response!

  • where can I get a video decoder for win xp media center so I can pick up a signal from TV

I use to be able to pick up a signal from TV, but since a new reinstall of xp media center I can not get a signal - the message says that I need a video decoder, where can I get this article

    Hi davidwiddecombe,

A codec is a software to compress or decompress a digital media file, such as a song or a video. Windows Media Player and other programs use codecs to play and create digital media files.

A codec can consist of two components: an encoder and a decoder. The encoder performs the compression function (coding) and the decoder performs the decompression function (decoding). Some codecs include both components and some codecs only one of them.

Use your favorite search engine and browse for such a program which is used to.

  • How to optimize the signal from my router?

When Im in a room on the ground floor, hence my router is in I can barely get a signal on my iPod Touch and the Xbox!   I was wondering if there is a way to optimize the signal from my router so that I won't have no connection issues... PS.  sometimes resetting the router help, but not as much as I'd like.

    Try these settings.

Access the routers admin pages.  Connect via a wired computer to 192.168.1.1 with your browser, the empty user name, the password "admin" (everything that you change too).

Disable UPnP.  Under settings wireless Beacon interval 75, RTS and Fragmentation threshold to 2304.  Try channel 1 or 11.  Save the settings and reconnect.
