  I successfully built and tested a fully functional motion sensor, by using the procedure in "Image subtraction".

  But in doing so, I am to particles (blobs) multiple for a single moving, perhaps due to the removal of Image object.

  Using other morphological options, erode and dilate, I managed to combine several "close blobs" in a single as you wish.

  However, it does not. For example, a human appears as 3 drops (reconciled) separate, instead of one.

  No problem with large objects (cars) so.

  Could someone suggest any method to track a collection of objects BLOB as a BLOB?

  Note:

  I tried to gather the center of masses of the particles and perform some basic calculations to combine them into groups of blobs close together and then calculate an average value of the center of masses by group. However, this does not work.

  Hello, I am pretty inexperienced and working on a project in which a device is attached to a moving stage of XY. The goal is for the camera to track toward moving below real-time, then follow them. To do this, I need a very basic image processing. However, I don't know how to order the engines for the X - Y stage without a tool only Linux, so I use Linux LabVIEW, which apparently does not support the NI Vision or MATLAB script nodes. I need to make a basic image processing (described below) very quickly, using the images I capture in LabVIEW. I know that Python, Java, MATLAB and c a little. Now all I can think is to make a C library that makes the treatment (despite my relative inexperience), then calling it a LabVIEW. That would be good because LabVIEW can pass the image of C by reference, while I do not know how to interface with MATLAB or Python without, say, a TCP connection, which would not be able to use pass by reference (I think?) Are there other ways to achieve this? Perhaps a clever way to interface with MATLAB, or is there a way to get the Vision in LabVIEW for Linux? Most importantly, it's just to find the center of mass of the very black worm, so it should be easy: simply restrict the image of a region of interest, threshold, choose the largest connected blob and calculate the center of mass. However, I might later want also to seek points of calibration on the image; I think it would be easier to just pull long, straight lines, under the camera, then detect those somehow. • Get rX rY position of an object

  I'm doing an internship project. But I keep getting stuck.

  What I do:
  

  It is a platform of Stewart. The platform can be moved to 6DDL. The actuators are muscle cylinder without bearings.
  I'm trying to get the xyz + rotation angles (rX rY rZ) of the platform. I have it using 1 (Ueye) camera that looks at the bottom of the platform, on the bottom there is a picture of model:
  

  What I do is: I throw a threshold above the camera image and use the analysis of the particle to point 5, to get Center of mass and the region.
  The idea of getting the rX and rY of the platform looked at the ground and measure the deformation that takes place.

  What is my problem:
  I try to measure the deformation of the rX and rY which will look like this (extravagant drawing):
  

  All the measures I have made (length and area) in a pure rX position (see photo 5) will also change the measure of the position of rY.
  In my measurements, it seems that rX and ry. change, but this is not the case. RX only should change.

  Now someone has an idea to do my more specific measurements, so I can say that it is a movement of rX and there is a movement of rY?

  I hope you understand my post. It is really difficult to explain things in a foreign language.

  I got my answer!

  What I do now is:
  

  I calculate these 4 surfaces with all 5 points of massive.
  This way I have the greater deformation of the delta values. It's already better than my gyro on my phone!
  Tomorrow I'm doing it with a more precise measuring device, but this looks promising.

• Find objects using NI Vision

  I want to locate clusters of the object in a .tiff image group. I would ilke to find the center of mass and the average value of pixels in each cluster (so that I can calculate the center of mass of the aggregate). In addition, I would like to draw polygon (sqiggly lines) indicating the perimeter of each cluster (similar to the example of MaginWand2). Each Image can contain one or more groups. I'm developing a stand-alone appliction using .net. I'd appreciate any help in this.

  That's what I did to get the center of mass of the cluster:

  1 called method of CountAndMeasure on the KING to get a report on all objects in the KING

  2 called LightMeterRectangle on each rectangle encompassing obtained in step 1.

  3. get the average intensity of each rectangle of the report object returned in step 2

  4 multiply the average intensity on the surface of the rectangle to get the total intensity. This isn't quite the full intensity it's only proportioal to the total intensity. This is acceptable in our application.

  5 used this total intensity and the center of gravity of the rectangle to calculate the center of the total mass of all the objects that have been identified.

  This solution seems acceptable for our application. Please make one commits. I have not found a way to reproduce the MagicWand feature in this console application again. I'll leave for later.

  Suggestions for future improvements:

  1 LightMeterRectangle will return the total intensity

  2 CountAndMeasureObjects will return the total number of pixels in the rectangle.

• Help, please! My w2207h became white!

  I have a w2207h 22 "monitor.  A few days ago, I took it down his perch and decided to give it a good clean.  I did it, but after that I was hooked to the top, the following happened;

  The screen came a few seconds, but was faded white (white well most of the time).  After a few seconds my office when it is absent and the screen went white, then after a little more the screen began to go kind of black (for the most part in the center of mass of the screen).  When it's dark or blackish (not totally black), it seems that the screen sort of going into hibernation, because it does not meet my mouse or buttons OSD of the monitor itself.

  I'm looking for advice about where to start troubleshooting.  I think that the power Board is ok (all the capacitors look good) and my research so far tells me that it is the main Board or the screen itself.  Oh and all the capacitors look good on the main map.

  I also tested the power supply with a multimeter card and pins and cables seem fine.  It's a head of time for any help that anyone can give me.  Also if anyone knows where I can get/purchase of service manual for this monitor, it would be much too.

  If you can get the part number for main Board then google it. You can get lucky.  HP Partsurfer has any internal parts for monitors. Monitors are essentially considered consumables.   The monitors are cheap (not in our portfolio) to do and with labor rates being high, the obvious solution for some is recycling.

  It's weird. I just tried the same search than indicated in your screenshot, and it worked for me. Could you try again? I am trying to determine if there is a problem with our search interface or backend.

  Regarding your original question: there is no built-in way to detect the content of a text layer Center. Some people have written hacks who analyze the content with the sampleImage method. And here's one:

• Satellite A100 - need Vista 64bits Mass Storage Controller & TOS1901 driver

  I have a notebook "Toshiba Satellite A100-049" who has the ability to support 4 GB memory (but which came with 2 GB) and I'm unable to find some drivers for it on the site Web of Tosiba. I put a second hard drive in the laptop (although far from my normal 32 bit Vista installation) and test Windows 7 64 bit. I currently have 2 GB of memory. I have most of the drivers, but need:

  * Mass Storage Controller
  * Unknown Device - TOS1901
  * According to the "Action Center", I also need to install "Intel Management Engine Interface". I suspect this is related to the mass storage controller.

  I searched the Intel site but without knowing which chipset etc... my laptop uses, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.

  When I installed Vista 32 bit, I had to install the package of value-added and supervisor password utility.
  The problem is while I managed to find a value-added Package 64-bit I can't find a Supervisor Password Utility 64-bit.

  I understand "Unknown Device - TOS1901" supervisor password average Utility.

  Where can I find drivers for 64-bit for this and also the mass storage controller?
  Even if they are for another model (but fine installation).

  PS - If I can't find the drivers I'll send a letter of complaint from Toshiba to sell a laptop capable of 4 GB of memory but absolutely no way to actually do this. Response from Toshiba a while ago (when I asked) had to settle for 3 GB on 32-bit Windows. It is not really satisfactory to lose 25% of your memory.
  That was before I had installed 64-Bit Windows.

  As you can see here, nobody can offer the correct answer. Problem is that this model of laptop is not supported for Vista 64-bit and you will be unable to find the Toshiba drivers, tools and utilities that are designed or tested with your model of laptop.

  Maybe you can try to install the other laptop satellite model tools, but there is no guarantee that it will work properly.

  Hi there, hoping someone can help me, just bought Windows XP Media Center Edition, had home installed, installed a new and I'm missing some drivers (Ethernet controller, mass storage controller, network controller, PCI device and video controller VGA)

  I have a satellite A100 PSAA9E and I was wondering if there is no driver for this edition of windows yet or if there is no alternative that is pro XP drivers should work?

  Win MCE drivers are not available for Satellite A100, only Win XP.
  Jasmin said, you can try to use the Windows XP drivers as the Win MCE is a WinXP with additional features.

• Get BSOD, Bad Pool Header with Mass Effect and Batman AA

  The problem I have is that whenever I play Mass Effect or Batman Arkhum Asylum, they tend to crash randomly during the game with a BSOD saying Bad_Pool_Header. The games would be fine for awhile, then it would break any chance to this BSOD screen. I tried to figure if these 2 games is in conflict with something, but I'm having a hard time to do this. Those are the only 2 games that cause this problem. I can't understand why.

  Try running memtest or other diagnostics hardware since in my experience, this error is usually caused by faulty RAM.
