Change Max programattically

I would like to be able to set up a channel of max, and then programmatically change the balance on this channel. I would like to do this so that I can call this channel in a VI separated without having to run through the creation and the vi scale. So far, this doesn't seem possible? When I edit a balance does not change the values of MAX?

Hi deskpilot,.

This goal is achievable using the vi DAQmx save scale, which is in the following range:

Measurement of e/s > DAQmx > advanced > system configuration > storage

For an example of how do I take a glance to the following Developer Zone:

Scales of change DAQmx in LabVIEW and Save the scales changed to MAX

  • changed Max icon

    I'm using LabVIEW on two different machines, and the laptop has a little strange problem with MAX.  All the code works except that on the laptop, for some strange reason, the shortcut icon on the desktop is no longer same old blue globe with a yellow arrow through it!  Instead, I have a sort of standard icon windows: square with a kind of icon text windows. When I go into the program files folder of National Instruments, I see the same icon, not the origianl icon!  When I right click on the measurement and automation and examine the properties for this thing I get the Properties dialog box and the original MAX icon appears in the dialog box.   I can go to change the icon of the button box and see the original icon of MAX on-screen, as well as a path to the National Instruments/MAX/NIMax.exe, select it and then go back to the menu shortcut and click on apply. I thought that this would cure the problem, but no, he didn't. This isn't a real problem and I have no idea as to what has caused this, but I would like to know how to get back to the original icon of MAX.

    It seems that it is mostly a problem of windows!  After looking around for files MAX icon on my computer, I found two of them: 16 x 16 and 32 x 32-bit. After SHIFT - Right click on the taskbar icon a properties is displayed, and ranging in the menu contextual and incoming in the path to the icon file 16 x 16 using the icon change selection I thought that this solves the case. Unfortunately, the icon has not changed as expected, but I tried a reboot in case the thing worked out the ini files and voila! It worked. And now create a shortcut of the exe desktop also shows the original icon of maximum problem solved.

  • Property node "DAQmx system" global channel does not read changed MAX global channel of data after the 1st round

    I use the property system DAQmx node to read all the data the scale for global for thermocouple in MAX I use MAX 4.4, LV7.1.1, with a SCXI chassis in a PXI-1050 chassis. It seems to read the properties very well on first run. However, if you then change a channel property overall Max (for example a ladder or a type thermocouple factor) and it saves to the MAX, and then runs again the property node, it still read old data Max. To get it to read the changed data, it must close the VI, and then reopen it. It's painful when you recalibrate a vast set of thermocouples using MAX.

    Is it possible to force the node of system DAQmx property to reread MAX whenever it is executed, without closing his VI?

    See attachment. Run called standalone VI... PRINCIPAL. See instructions on the VI.

    Thank you

    Tim

    Hi Tim,.

    Your main VI has not been updated is because you do not clearly the task after every time you call the DAQmx property node.

    Attached is a modified version of your code that works. I just added the Task.vi clear DAQmx in the FindChanProps.vi.

  • Change max and min of bean validatelongrange

    Hello experts,

    I'm in a bit of a pickle. I am usung JDev 11.1.1.7 and would like to control the default value, minimum values and maximum possible of an inputtext of a bean.

    I have a system on CHIP and depending on the value selected in the SOC valueChangeListener, I need to set the min and max of the inputtext validatelongrange.

    My approach has been to use EL expr and set the value property of inputtext #{PageFlowScope.defValue}, the validatelongrange min = max = #{PageFlowScope.maxValue #{PageFlowScope. minValue}}. Then in the SOC valueChangeListener put these variables PageFlowScope. However, when the valueChangeListener fires values do not change.

    How can I change it?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Solved this problem by creating a new method of validator and check that the value is between the PageFlowScope minValue and maxValue. And when he's not climbing an exception.

    I CHECKED THE NUMBERS YVERT NEWSPAPER ARCHIVE SEQUENCE 12 [HELP LOGMINER] MAX PARTNER RCS TO ARCHIVE LOG ARE 670242

    in fact, it's really smart.

    First of all he must know the sequence 12, next_change # is not belongs to 12, but it is up to the 13th first_change of sequence...

    So in the real world, the number of sequence 12 change is only up to 670245 and 670246 variation represents the variation of departure of the numebr 13 sequence.

    It does not use any real time applies, as now by the my conclusion that precedes the sequence number last change is only 670245, according to the concepts of recovery... If you want to perform a recovery of change up to 100, you must speak as 'up to 100 + 1', i.e. of 101... So if you mention 101 then it performs recovery up to 100.

    (1) the 12 sequences change max is 670245

    (2) when it performs recovery until this sequence, then then it usually performs recovery to the 6740244 according to the rules of recovery.

    Of http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14357/ch12033.htm

    Until THE CHANGE integer

    The process managed recovery up to but not including the system change number (SCN).

    Still at this stage do not give 100% conclusion, even test you use log miner and will let you know of course...

    -WHY IN MAX (SNA) LOGMINER IS NOT SHOWING AS 670246?

    When you analyze the file of archive redo log, did you use the hours start and end times? Note that if you give little time to end there's less chance to truncated to collect information to undermine journal and important thing is written Oracle of information amount of control and change in terms of metadata information in headers. Also note that oracle uses some CHANGE of SYSTEM files, so some of them may not visible.

    Hello

    you will need to change the obips. ContextMenu.css (ORACLE_BI1 & user_projects) file, you need to find the file in the following paths
    (MWHOME\Oracle_BI1\bifoundation\web\appv2\res\s_FusionFX\uicomponents\obips. ContextMenu

    MWHOME\user_projects\domains\bifoundation_domain\servers\AdminServer\tmp\_WL_user\analytics_11.1.1\silp1v\war\res\s_FusionFX\uicomponents\obips. ContextMenu)

    Step 1: in this forum (contextMenuOptionText) to search for file change (max-height: 10px ;) you want.)

    .contextMenuOptionText
    {display: block;}
    Max-width: 200px;
    text-overflow: ellipsis;
    Max-height: 10px;
    overflow: hidden;
    white-space: nowrap;
    {text-align: left;}.

    Step 2: in this forum (contextMenuOption) to search for file change (do-size: 11px ;) you want.)

    .contextMenuOption {text-align: left;}
    do-family: Tahoma;
    do-size: 11px;
    Color: #000;
    padding-left: 4px;

    Hello

    That depends on whether spriden_pidm is unique, and you want to get the results.

    Whenever you have a problem, post a small example of data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT, relevamnt columns only instructions) for all the tables and the results desired from these data.
    If you can illustrate your problem using tables commonly available (such as in the diagrams of scott or HR) so you need not display the sample data; right after the results you want.
    Whatever it is, explain how you get these results from these data.
    Always tell what version of Oracle you are using.

    Looks like you are doing something similar to the following.
    Using the tables emp and dept of the scott schema, producing a line of production by Department showing the highest salary for each job, for a set given jobs:

    DEPTNO DNAME          LOC           JOB_1   SAL_1 JOB_2   SAL_2 JOB_3   SAL_3
    ------ -------------- ------------- ------- ----- ------- ----- ------- -----
        20 RESEARCH       DALLAS        ANALYST  3000 MANAGER  2975 CLERK    1100
        10 ACCOUNTING NEW YORK MANAGER 2450 CLERK 1300
        30 SALES          CHICAGO       MANAGER  2850 CLERK     950

    On each line, jobs are listed in order by the highest salary.
    This seems to be similar to what you are doing. The roles played by the sortest_pidm, sortest_tesc_code and sortest_test_score in your table sortest are played by deptno, job and sal in the emp table. The roles played by the spriden_pidm, id and the name of your table spriden are played by deptno, dname and loc in the dept table.

    Looks like you already have something like the query below, which produces a correct output, except that it does not include the dname and loc of the dept table columns.

    SELECT    deptno
    , MAX (DECODE (rn, 1, job)) AS job_1
    ,       MAX (DECODE (rn, 1, max_sal))     AS sal_1
    , MAX (DECODE (rn, 2, job)) AS job_2
    ,       MAX (DECODE (rn, 2, max_sal))     AS sal_2
    , MAX (DECODE (rn, 3, job)) AS job_3
    ,       MAX (DECODE (rn, 3, max_sal))     AS sal_3
    FROM       (
               SELECT    deptno
               ,          job
               ,          max_sal
               ,          ROW_NUMBER () OVER ( PARTITION BY  deptno
                                              ORDER BY          max_sal     DESC
                                )         AS rn
               FROM     (
                             SELECT    e.deptno
                       ,           e.job
                       ,           MAX (e.sal)     AS max_sal
                       FROM      scott.emp        e
                       ,           scott.dept   d
                       WHERE     e.deptno        = d.deptno
                       AND e.job IN ('ANALYST', 'CLERK', 'MANAGER')
                       GROUP BY  e.deptno
                       ,           e.job
                         )
           )
    GROUP BY  deptno
    ;

    Dept.DeptNo is unique, it won't be a dname and a loc for each deptno, so we can modify the query by replacing "deptno" with "deptno, dname, loc" throughout the query (except in the join condition, of course):

    SELECT deptno, dname, loc -- Changed
    , MAX (DECODE (rn, 1, job)) AS job_1

    , MAX (DECODE (rn, 2, job)) AS job_2
    ,       MAX (DECODE (rn, 2, max_sal))     AS sal_2
    , MAX (DECODE (rn, 3, job)) AS job_3
    ,       MAX (DECODE (rn, 3, max_sal))     AS sal_3
    FROM       (

               ,          job
               ,          max_sal
               ,          ROW_NUMBER () OVER ( PARTITION BY  deptno      -- , dname, loc     -- Changed

                                )         AS rn
               FROM     (
                             SELECT    e.deptno, d.dname, d.loc                    -- Changed

    In fact, you can continue to use just deptno in the analytical PARTITION BY clause. It may be slightly more efficient to just use deptno, as I did above, but it won't change the results if you use all 3, if there is only 1 danme and 1 loc by deptno.

    Moreover, you don't need so many subqueries. You use the internal subquery to calculate the MAX and the outer subquery to calculate rn. Analytical functions are calculated after global fucntions so you can do both in the same auxiliary request like this:

    It will work in Oracle 8.1 or more. In Oracle 11, however, it is better to use the SELECT... Function PIVOT.

  • Drop-down list on screens

    Hi all

    I have a drop down list with numbers 1-31 on one of my screen, but when I go through the interview and click the drop-down list button, it shows me numbers 1-9, then 3 points «...» ' said there are more options. How to reach these figures which are not visible?

    Thank you!

    Heather

    Hi Heather,

    For OPA 10.4:

    1. open the appearance.properties file in NotePad ++ or any other text editor (.. \(Your-Project)\Release\web-determinations\WEB-INF\classes\configuration\appearance.) Properties)

    2 find this section:

    # Global switch to enable or disable the search comboboxes

    Enable-search-comboboxes = true

    Search Max-results = 10

    3. do one of the following:

    -Change: enable-search-comboboxes = false

    OR

    -Change: max-search results = (a larger number, for example the number of items in the longer list)

    Note that regardless of the changes made in step 3 will apply to all drop-down lists in the project.

  • Request removal

    Hello world...

    I want to write a query suppression for a situation like below

    Table: DBG. PUBS

    the columns are CODE, PRICE, DATE1, DATE2

    001-50 JANUARY 5, 11 FEBRUARY 5, 11
    002 100 1 JANUARY 11 6 MARCH 11
    003 40 5 APRIL 11 MAY 6, 11

    I want to remove all lines except the line that has the oldest DATE1...
    In the above case to remove all lines except 002...
    This table has more lines than this, and not in the correct order according to the DATE1

    Thank you!!

    Pascale

    Hello

    DELETE FROM DBG.PUBS
    WHERE date1 != (SELECT MIN(date1)
                    FROM DBG.PUBS);

    Keep in mind that if you have multiple records with the same date all those with the date min will be preserved...

    See you soon
