  What version of Windows?  You can change the DPI on Windows XP but right click on your desktop, choose Properties, selecting the tab settings, clicking on advanced and change the dropdown to DPI.  Other versions of Windows have similar steps.

  I read every article I can find on the VDI configuration and configuration of the server connection view to auto setting of the display resolution.  My problem is that the width is auto adjust so I can see black borders on both sides of the screen.  In reading several manuals installation VDI for XP Pro, I have read several methods to set the various parameters and none do not work properly.  I read that while implementing the guest remember to install the VMWare Tools ' before 'to install the Agent, or there may be problems. "  The second trick is to set the prompt on 800 x 600 and PCOIP will automatically adapt to the display resolution the resolution of your computer 'customer '.  The third is the server connection for the value of the high resolution enabled and some articles defined on 2 screens and others say say to max it to 4.   I'm changing the order that pictures are displayed.  To try to change their order of appearance, I changed the photo taken date of some photos.  When I go through the pictures in Windows Photo Gallery, they appear as I intend.  When I go through the same pictures in Windows Media Center (by date taken) some photo are out.  But they are not the photos that I've changed.

  Once they appear in the correct order, I intend to burn to DVD with background music.

  ·         Have you tried to update the media library of the Center once you have changed the order in which the photos are sorted?

  You can delete and any location where you have saved your photos (media files). This will refresh your Media Center Library and sort files in the order that you have sorted your computer.

  1. on the start screen, navigate to tasks, and then click settings.

  2. click on the library settings.

  3. click on remove the folder to watch and then click Next.

  4. According to the where your digital media files are stored, click one of the options under which folders you want to add?, and then click Next.

  5 navigate in the folders that you want to add by clicking on the - and + buttons, and select the check box next to each folder. (Files in subfolders will be included with your selection).

  6. When you have selected all the folders that you want Windows Media Center to watch, click Next and then click Finish.

  After you have finished adding files, it may take several minutes for the files in the libraries.

  Follow the same steps and add the folders back.

  This will add the files in the order that you have saved on your computer.

  I just installed Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on a new hard drive on my Dell Studio 540. The PC has a graphics card ATI Radeon HD 3450 and has a Samsung 226bw 22 "monitor on the digital output. This works very well, and has the resolution of 1650 x 4050. When I am running Vista (on the previous hard drive), I got a monitor flat 14 "old on the other out, and it worked fine (although at a lower resolution).

  I added a monitor AOC F22s + on the other output, expecting to be able to put this to the recommended 1920 x 1080 resolution. Unfortunately, Windows has developed the driver for this monitor "Generic non - PnP" and will not let me set the correct resolution. To the maximum it will allow is 1600 x 1200, (as well as all other resolutions it allows) do not use the monitor at maximum capacity, which is the ratio of evil anyway, so the display seems tense.

  I run Windows Update, so have the latest drivers. I tried to install the other drivers, but nothing helped.

  I tried to unplug the Samsung monitor and restart the PC, so that the AOC, one was the only monitor it and he always had as 'Generic non - PnP' with the wrong resolution.

  Someone at - it ideas? I'm at my wits end. AOC support did not understand and could only suggest that the monitor was faulty, but the place where I bought it insist that it works very well and so no Exchange or get a refund (no restocking fee, which is a RIP-OFF).

  I really want to use both screens and would appreciate greatly any help that anyone can give. I hope I gave enough information. If I didn't, please let me know.

  PROBLEM SOLVED!

  It turned out that my VGA cable was wrong and that it was not send the right signal to the computer. The screen worked fine with a VGA monitor, but the PC has not said that the new monitor is a PnP I tried a different cable and it worked fine.

  I'm trying to install Microsoft FreeLancer on Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium edition (according to WinVer: Version 6.1, build 6701, Service Pack 1).

  After inserting the DVD in the drive and run "Setup.exe", I am invited by the UAC to elevate permissions - who I am agreement - then the following error message appears: "Setup was unable to find (or could not read) the language specific setup resource dll, unable to continue."   The only valid technote, I found the issue was http://support.microsoft.com/kb/258496. The below is the list of the things that I tried after reading this technote - but no avail.

  • Of course, I tried to restart.
  • I checked the DVD is in good condition, even with regard to the attempts to install from the disc to a friend and even went up to compare the MD5 of all files on two DVDs, the checksums match.
  • I tried using the compatibility mode for XP, although according to the report of another user on the statements of the Windows Compatibility Center that this should not be necessary.
  • I ran a full "chkdsk" (i.e. one scheduled for after a reboot, rebooted) and chkdsk reported no error.
  • I deleted all files "di - use ' %TEMP%, immediately after the restart and before you run setup.exe.
  • I've looked at this the EMET tool had an exemption for 'setup.exe' and my tool anti-virus was disabled before installation.

  Everything I try seems to have no effect on the resolution of this problem.

  I managed to work around this problem by using the following workaround solution:

  I installed Freelancer CD on a Windows XP virtual machine running in VMWare Workstation. I then moved the installation directory (C:\Program Files\FreeLancer) off the coast of the virtual machine on my Windows 7 computer in (C:\Program Files (x 86) \FreeLancer).

  The game seems to work fine as long as it is run with administrative privileges (that is, the freelancer.exe running). Without administrator rights, the games is never recorded. With them, they are registered under "C:\Program Files (x 86) \FreeLancer\EXE\Accts\SinglePlayer" successfully.

  I had the same problem with my Asus EeePC Netbook. The highest resolution was 1024 x 600. I was able to change it by changing the settings of register of Display1_DownScalingSupported in 1152 x 864 (two entries) from 0 to 1. Proceed at your own risk.

  It looks like you might be haunted by the Align attribute to the ghost of the pixel grid.

  You can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher. It is crucial that the checkbox is disabled completely, not just a - which also count as ticked.

  It may be noted that even align with the pixel grid is cleared with all the selected objects, align new objects to the pixel grid is checked as the creation of new objects will result in these new objects being aligned, even when they are created from existing objects that can happen with Pathfinder operations.

  You can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.

  You can't look "inside" a backup. Just use iTunes to sync with your iPhone, then you'll see a separate category for voice memos in the sidebar.
