I called Lenovo and requested an upgrade, but the suport Tech, said that Lenovo provides all options 'upgrade' for its customers.

Please advice, how can I add card Nvidea to my machine?

Hello. So you cliam that there is not a difference between low-quality Intel HD without any memory and professional video with dedicated memory card?

If so, why any friendly manufacturing (instead of Lenovo) instaled map video saperated in their machine?

in May the Intel hD is able to suport any multimedia application. If you zoom in/zoom out PDF with multimedia, is the difference! Need more time to open and PPT file. The video fullscreen is still trolling too. Anyone sell you a car with bike wheeles, why of Lenovo?

  • Lenovo H430 video card problem

    Hi all

I searched a bit on the forum but not found an answer to the problem I encounter. Apologies if it was answered, and I just missed him...

I have a H430 Office with an i3-2120. I recently bought a Quadro 600 to install in the box. When I install the video card and turn on the box, all I see is the start of Lenovo screen. Nothing happens, then I heard 2 beeps. Normally, I have that would be associated with the RAM, but the machine works well when I use the integrated graphics card.

I use the original supply of 280 watt, but the Quadro uses only 40 watts max. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi, thanks for the help!

I got the card to operate, although it took a bit of time. I tried to put my bios to the latest available on the Lenovo Web site. In the bios file, there is a program that is used to update the bios from Windows. If you use a 64-bit system, DO NOT try to use it!

I ended up getting a Gigabyte card to use, found a legacy setting in the bios menu and was able to get everything works perfectly!

  • Lenovo G510 video card problem

Hello! For some time, I have a few problems with the graphics card on my laptop. When I try to launch a game using the AMD graphics card by going to "Switchable Graphics", the game does not work, I mena I can hear background noise of the game, but the screen is black. When I switch to Intel graphics card the game works perfectly.

When I go to Device Manager, I see the graphics card Intel and AMD. But when I use FurMark I only see the Intel graphics card, which is the only one that works.

When I run TechPowerUp GPU - Z I get an error telling me to update my OPENCL and my video card driver.

    Any ideas, please?

    Thank you!

    Hello

Just remove Intel and AMD graphics drivers in Device Manager and of course be sure to remove the respective graphics software too (can be made in programs and features, found in Control Panel)

First install Intel Graphics driver, then install AMD graphics driver on the respective support of your OS site.

And do not update your Intel of Windows Update drivers and or directly from the site Web of AMD.

It is best to install drivers from manufacturer as they can be adapted to our machines.

    IM using G510 Windows Pro 8.1 x 64

  • Sudden video card reader error causing freezing

I use first items 11 and suddenly it started showing the video card reader error trying to create a new project or open an existing one. The error that says detected Adobe one driver incompatible display GeForce 9600 GT/PCIe/SSE2 3.3.0 and ask me to update the driver. If I click OK on this message Adobe starts, create or open a project, but freezes. I can't even close the application that the computer does not respond to Ctrl + Alt + Delete and so I have to force restart it. When it freezes, I see two Adobe logo at the bottom of the screen in the taskbar as if she would try to open the application twice.

I have the latest video card driver installed: 340.52 version. In addition, Premiere Elements opened and worked without problem before and I haven't changed anything in my video card driver before the error started to appear.

  • Help, T420s display/video card problem!

Hi all. I would be grateful for any input.

Recently happened a lot with my T420s especially when I was on the video playback in full screen. The screen has suddenly become as the image, I enclose below, and there is no answer at all. Then after 30 seconds or more, the system stops. I suspected a problem with my video card overheating. BTW, the fan in my T420s works also like crazy all the time, I put in place with this since I have my laptop

My last laptop was T61. With all the Nvidia graphics problem before, I am so afraid it would have hit me again. I would return the laptop immediately to Lenovo. I am writing my thesis now with this computer. Really cannot afford not having no not my computer for awhile.

  • Firefox crashes when it starts. I tried to reset it; I uninstalled and reinstalled no question. The problems started after I changed my video card

    Crash ID: bp-1c18c383-28e4-426c-96a7-ff97e2130906
    OS: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit
I had to change my video card, immediately after this FF started crashing at the beginning.
The graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce 210.
    I tried to:
    -Reset FF;
    -uninstall, delete the registry, reinstall it;
    -Windows Update;
    -Update (311.06) video card drivers
    but no way.
I can start FF mode without failure.
Any help will be really appreciated.

I solved it by disabling hardware acceleration in the FF options.
There seems to be a conflict between FF and some drivers from Nvidia.

  • Can I change the video card in the Portege M700?

I recently received a Portege M700 as a gift and I didn't really like the Intel supplied with the laptop video card. If I want to change the video card to a more adapted to more modern games. Something like an nVidia or ATi video card. I don't think it's possible, but if this is the case, could someone answer?

    Thanks in advance.

    > On the other hand, it is possible to change the whole motherboard, and if it is possible, it would cost a lot?
The replacement of the motherboard is possible, but it can be replaced with the same card published by Toshiba for this series of laptop.
In addition, the replacement of the motherboard is a costly business because the mobo is one of the expensive laptop parts

Sorry, but man I must say: forget it.
You can't go to the graphics chip. It will not work and the BIOS would not accept.

(Sorry my English is not the best!: D)

    Thx for any help

    Hello

Usually it of not possible to change the GPU on laptop computers.
The laptop is configured with this graphics card and after replacement, it possible s that the BIOS will not accept this card and laptop does not start.

But why you want to replace it?

It seems that there s a new notebook with HD-DVD player and a great graphics card.
The replacement does not really increase the graphics performance!
You know, replacement is very risky, and if you open the notebook, you will lose the warranty!
    It is not worth!
