  • Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
  • Start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
  • Press a key when prompted to boot from the DVD.
  • Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
  • Select 'Repair' when prompted.
  • When you are prompted, select System Restore.
  • Set up Windows to a point before you set the password.
  • Plan ahead a little and create, test and document an alternative admin account, same as you have a spare emergency House key.

  You can do a reset of the printer using the LED screen on the printer.

  Select Configuration, then Tools, then restore the default settings. "Restore default settings" is the last element of the list and you will have to scroll down to see it.

  Which erases all settings, including the password for the printer.

  To reset you describe is probably the one mentioned in this article:

  HI Kohorta,

  There are few things you can do if you have forgotten your BIOS password. The only effective way to reset it is to take the appliance to your nearest authorised Service partner who has the necessary equipment for re-flashing your BIOS chip. They generally must prove you your ship-owner of the laptop before it will change.

  You can find various utilities listed on some websites and also some means to bypass the BIOS password, but they are absolutely not guaranteed to work on most modern laptops.

  I forgot the password to the BIOS of my laptop and I put the laptop so that it requires a password, not only for the opening of the Setup utility, but even to boot.   As far as I know you can t change the BIOS password by yourself, because it's a very complicated procedure. To do this you must contact your official service partner Toshiba. They should check, if the device is stolen or not.
  On the Toshiba site, you can find the right service partner.

  If you have forgotten your password, if you have another user who has administrative privileges account you can log in to that account and change the password of your account of origin of the user accounts applet in Control Panel. In XP Home, start the computer in Mode safe. This, by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. This will put you in the right menu. Navigate using your arrow up; the mouse does not work here. Once in safe mode, you will see the normally hidden administrator account. The default password is white.

  In XP Pro, you don't need to go to Safe Mode. In the home screen, do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice to get the classic Windows logon box. Type in "Administrator" and the password that you assigned when you set up Windows.

  If you have XP Pro or Media Center and have been using the account administrator for your regular work so it is the only user account on the system, there are ways to change the password for this account to a white.
