Change the Description of several photos

I emphasize the relevant photos and change, the Description field within information (Cmd + I).

But when I click on out of the box Info, he asks me if I want to change the description of 3 000 photos (pictures of this year, not only the photos that I have highlighted).

No idea why it does this? Is there another method of updating the Description?

Thank you

How you change the descriptions is exactly how it should be done. Select the photos in the browser, open the Info Panel with ⌘I, and enter a new label.

MacBook Pro with the retina, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

Your profile signature OS X El Capitan is still valid?

I had a similar problem when running left El Capitan.  Occasionally, Photos would change the description field of all the photos in the album, I was displayed and not only the description of the selected photos. And for the fields title, this would change a title that I had chosen.

On the Sierra, I noticed that the browser is sometimes loses focus for the cursor. When I use the Trackpad and not by the mouse.  If the Info Panel is opened for a few selected photos, a reckless trackpad gesture can move the focus to another album in the sidebar and the Info Panel passes to this album, and then by typing in a different title or description will show the warning about editing thousands of photos.

  • Can I change the descriptions of training?

Is it possible to change the descriptions of training for Apple Watch? I never use the elliptical trainer or rower so I would have something that best fits my activity.

    Thank you!

    Hi Rebecca

    It is not currently possible.

The types of training activities are also used to help your watch choose which sensors will be better and accurately to track and evaluate the results of your workout (for example the built-in accelerometer, built-in heart rate monitor, your paired iPhone data).

If you want to suggest that Apple consider adding other types of activity in the application of the workout, you can do it here:

How to change the extensions on several files with Windows 7?

You hear no doubt, is that your movie software will only recognize certain types of image file formats.  If this is the case, you will need to reformat format files to any format PNG is recognizable by the software.

Rather than we guess, please identify your «film» software

Download and install IrfanView, which is a free utility for images.  http://www.IrfanView.com/

IrfanView has the ability to read a great many formats of image files.  It can also convert image files formats.  And even better - for you - it can do all these things on a batch of files.

As test, after I installed IrfanView, open one of your PNG files.  Now click on file > save as, and select the 'Save as Type' to be little matter the file type of your movie software will accept.  Save the file.  Make sure your movie software can accept the new file.

Once you are convinced that you can modify files that you have in a format that you can use, use IrfanView

File > Batch Conversion/Rename command.  If necessary, see IrfanView help on this topic.

All you can do is select Save in the color settings dialog box and provide a name for the settings file. A dialog box opens that allows you to enter a custom description.

  • How can I change the font in several capacities, at the same time?

Hey guys, quick question. I have a bunch of titles and of lower thirds in my project and my producer decided that he did not like the police that we used previously and wants to change to a new one. It seems to do quite often. Is there a way to "globally" to change the font of several title cards at the same time instead of clicking on each of them separately and do it manually for each of them? And if there is no way to do that does anyone have any ideas on how to make it easier?
