  DPI is the number of pixels per inch of the LCD screen. You can not change this.

  I think that the software needs a specific resolution or the size of the LCD screen. Try lowering the resolution 1280 x 800 or an external monitor.

  3. I was for of APPEARANCE ADVANCES SETTINGS under personalization and change what you can change, which limits itself to the Menu, title bars, ToolTip and a few others.  THIS IS NOT ENOUGH.
  4. I tried the regedit merger to change the font from Segoe, Verdana, but it's still at 9pt, so it is still TOO SMALL.

A few months ago I asked a friend to help me to update my old computer, which he did, but it seems to cause problems with my OS.   Easily changed.  Click the small link at the bottom in the center of the Camera Raw dialog box.  Here you can choose the value of pixels/inch, as well as several other important parameters.  Once you finish a conversion or press [done] the parameter will stick.

  You can upgrade to the latest version of Camera Raw that goes with your version of Photoshop.  In other words, locate your version of Photoshop in the list, and then sweep upward to the updated Camera Raw you can put in.
