  Unless you fully active 'find my Mac' BEFORE that your mac has been stolen, it can't do anything for you now. It is not active, and there is no way to make it active after the fact.

  My iMac started having weird errors on mail.  It started when I started to post and all my accounts were gone.  I tried to re - add, but it hung on the iCloud account.  Doing some research, I found suggestions to check my settings to iCloud.  When I checked preferences, only Photos has been verified, and when I tried to activate all the others, they were immediately disabled.   You cannot use a Standard (Local) account to change the administrator account. You can only use an administrator for this account.

  Open the control panel (place the cursor on the bottom/left corner of the screen... and right click, select Control Panel from the menu

  In Control Panel, select user accounts.

  Select Manage another account.

  This will show all the user accounts on the computer. If there is an administrator account, it will show this designation.

  To log off and log on with an administrator account.

  Back to the account user/screen control.

  Select Manage another account , then select the Standard account you want to change.

  Select the option Change the account Type .

  Select the administrator option to change the account and click Change the account Type .

  If there is no other administrator account, let know us and we can try another method of recovery.

  1. Click Start > run, type services.msc and press ENTER.
  2. Double-click the VMware VirtualCenter Server Service.
  3. Click the log .
  4. Select this account, type the name of the account in the nom_domaine\nom_compte format, or click Browse and find the right account.

  There is no such thing as an iCloud ID or an ID of iTunes. There is iTunes and iCloud and you us an Apple ID to connect to one or the other or both.

  If you speak to change the address of your iCloud email address that ends with iCloud, then you can't.

  If you speak with another Apple ID to sign in to iCloud, you can do it. All you need to do is to disconnect and connect to iCloud with a different ID, but beware that everything will stay your date corresponding to the code old unless you copy carefully crosswise.

Now, it's just for the two, but there are significant differences. It goes the same for iCloud.   Have you and your husbands contacts mixed up at some point in all of this? If Yes, what you could do to iCloud.com login to your Mac with the original account and go to settings. In the lower left corner, click the option restore contacts. You can restore the State of the iCloud contacts on this account to the archived dates, as you see in this area. When you do this, it creates a backup of the contacts in their current state, if you find that you need to return the contacts to be what he had here before you went here.
