  Hi people, I'm using win - xp professional SP3. I want to partition my hard drive sparked doesn't have that one disk C with no unallocated space. I don't want to format or reinstall my operating system, is it possible that I can create a partition on my hard drive.   Windows XP has no native tools to do this, you need to use a third partititionneur of the to do.  Acronis, Symantec, terabyte and Easus are some of the companies that come to mind that have the tools to do this.  Free trial of TeraByte BootItNg utility to do this.

  Remember that anything can happen when you work with disk partitions and partitioning/resizing tools, a swipe of the finger, a power failure or a software problem can easily lead to a catastrophic loss of all data on the disk, make sure you have a backup of your precious files BEFORE to proceed to this!

  It is unfortunately not possible. An option he could do is to move its other partitions on the new drive and extend the original hard disk to its normal size of 80 GB but that would be the only real option to get more space operating system partition.

  Once you have created a primary partition, it is not possible (for Windows XP) to divide the partition without using third-party software. You can see:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/309000 to create a new partition.

As a first step, I get an error message.

  Thanks for the explanation. I actually have to install Acrobat and it now works. I downloaded and installed Adobe Reader XI (I think, http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/mac/11.x/11.0.02/en_US/AdbeRdr11002_en_US.dmg ) and opened the program. I noticed that after I opened the new drive, my Adobe Reader 9 program began to work. After that, I tried to open Acrobat and instead of getting the error 6 message that I had before, I had an error on a question of license that would require me to uninstall and reinstall the software. Once I did these steps my Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro started working! Don't know why my program, but it is fully functional again. I hope it helps someone else, I have why I came to answer.

  Acrobat 9 is not supported on OS of Yosemite.

  While I changed the partition and I also upgraded to the El Cap.

  After all, I can't start by winning 10 more, although I could see my windows in the startup disk Control Panel.
