• Pe11 - do not change the project settings based on the video source

  I keep the light in various places PE11 should read my video source and change the project settings for the game when I place it in the timeline in Expert mode, but I don't see any indication that this is happening. No matter what kind of video, I add, the editing mode (and other settings) in the settings of the project remains the same.

  I'm working with older clips (smaller than 720 x 480, 25 fps), and none of the presets project apply.

  What if the project setting does not match what I'm getting? Or it is made irrelevant by the publication settings I use (assuming I choose good here)?

  As you have seen, WMVs will not change your project settings. In fact, I'd like to discourage you by their use as source files.

  WMVs are a good video source you change in Windows MovieMaker - but they make for a source file bad enough for virtually any other video editing software.

  We are both on the same line on dealing with what you think to be a 640 x 360, 16:9, and to do so in a Premiere Elements project without the consequences of black borders.

  However, details to sort out when you tell me that you get huge black borders when you import this file to 16:9 in a 16:9 project.

  If you set the project preset manually, have you thought about putting a check mark next to the "Force selected setting on this project' in the new project dialog box? Did you follow the path...

  • Open the project in the workspace Expert and go to file menu/new project and change the settings.
  • In the settings, set the project preset to match the properties of the source media. OK to get out of there.
  • In the dialog box new project opens, rename the project and make sure you have a checkmark next to the "Force selected setting on this project." OK to get out of there.
  • In the Expert workspace, import your media source by using Add Media / choice.

  Excuse the request, but not to take anything acquired to speed things up, have you confirmed your 640 x 360, 16:9 for this particular import with program outside of Premiere Elements?

  Please read the above, and then we will try to determine what happens with this file.

• Cannot change the project status

  We have a problem with 4 projects (started with 1, but more than users that the question now), where it is not possible to change the status of a project.

  A user can select the next available status, but when they select the it, nothing happens. They do not see an error message, or anything else - it of just that the State does not change, even if the user has selected a different and valid status in the list.

  I had an SR connected with Oracle since May 20, but Oracle are stuck. They made debugging, tracing, OWC, etc., but no solution so far.

  I just thought that I would ask here in case someone else has experienced this problem.

  Any advice much appreciated.

  Fixed - it turns out it's because the Start Date for the key member of project manager has been after the Start Date of the project. Once this has been fixed, we could change the status of the project.

• You can use multiple computers to change the project of the elements of the first?

  I use first Elements 10.  I built a new project on my desktop, because the Office has a firewire port to capture video from my camcorder and my laptop is not a firewire port.  The project is stored on my home network.  I seem to be able to do editing very well using the desktop computer that the project has been created, but it will not directly charge on the cell for editing.  Premiere Elements is configured the same on both computers.  I guess my question is - Premiere Elements stores something on the computer on which the project was created on not stored on the network drive?    How can I fix the problem so that I can edit on my laptop? The laptop is a high-end Dell XPS with an i7 processor that I use for other projects of creation, so the capacity of portable computers is not a problem.

  If I have a very fast NAS and the network, I found that to effectively edit a project, I want my project, and active at least an external FW 800 (same drive letter of the operating system on each computer) and an eSATA would be even better.

  I do all the time and my transportation projects between my laptop by the pool and work stations in the editing room.

  I've set up each project, with all assets (or Copies, as most of my goods are stored on the NAS), in a hierarchy of files for this project. With the drive letter set the same on every machine I migrate seamlessly and with zero problems. Mega-projects, with 1, in thousands of dollars in assets, loading quickly - unlike when working on the network, or of the SIN.

  But with a little planning, you should have zero problem.

• Change the name of the project that is used on the server of RoboHelp for reactive HTML5

  I use Adobe 2015 to publish Responsive HTML5 in RoboHelp Server 10.

  When I publish the project, it seems to name the file, the name of the project. So, if my project is named Cool_Blue, he the published under Cool_Blue. Is anyway to change this name?   Nita, I think what you're trying to do is change the name of the project in a shorter file name while in general, you will have the shortest paths. If this is the case, you must simply renaming the project, then delete leftovers from the project a longer name on RoboHelp Server and you are home free.

  So, if you want to change the name of the project (rather than the name in the 'bar' of the browser, you must change the project name by going to > file > rename project)

  So looking at your screenshot posted previously, the CIE would be to use sensitive available, but it could appear as

  I add the following text because there was some confusion because of new workflow in RoboHelp 2015 and the new RoboHelp Server 10.

  With regard to the "naming" confusion I'll try to decompress it. There has been some changes in the publication of things since the release of RoboHelp (2015) and, now, RoboHelp Server 10. For example:

  1. What we once called "Single Source Layouts' (SSL), we now call for 'outputs (SSL).
  2. It used to be that if you have been published on a Server of RoboHelp, it was mandatory to use an exit called WebHelp Pro.
  3. WebHelp Pro is still alive and well and can be used to publish in RoboHelp Server 10.
     EXCEPT when you want to publish sensitive HTML5 content to the new RoboHelp Server 10.
  4. In this case, if you post the more modern layout Responsive HTML5 option, it is appropriate to use a sensitive of HTML5 (SSL) output and select a HTML5 compatible screen available in the Pod to set up output.

  If you are using the latest version of PrPro, 2015.3/build 10.3... even if they kept the 'extra' looking for the CC part number from 2015.2 to 2015.3, if you look at the version numbers, 2015.2 is a "9.x" version, and 2015.3 is a version "10.x.

  Sorry, I'm not too hot to read the manual, but I tried to find direct references to alter elongation and found nothing that I could tell.

  I have a web cam video clip which saw living initially on the monitor was 4:3, but for there realistic proportions, he needs to be stretched to 16:9.

  It was recorded in AVI format screen.

  Is it possible to import it for editing in the 16:9 format so that the final product is 16:9. ?
  

  Thanks to everyone for your input. I finally managed to understand the instructions in the help section, and the solution provided by them was:

  If you want to change the size of a clip in Adobe Premiere Elements, and its pixel format is correct, select the item and change the scale property of the motion effect. The motion effect is available in the properties view with the clip selected in the timeline or sceneline view.

  You just go to the project settings dialog box and change when the AutoSave file is defined.

  A couple of things about the Auto-save...

  -It waits a few seconds in action, so if you have a busy beaver editor constantly change things he could not AutoSave for quite a while...

  -automatic backup fact that both 'levels' it is wise to use Save-as to increment your project as you advance. So you can be sure that if you are on the last edit to the project AND... If corruption occurs, you have previous increments of work regardless of their deletion.
