Change the url in the most visited website?
I use the "most visited sites" bookmark for almost all the my regular browsing. One of the sites I've visited more has changed a bit (this is a car forum updated their forum software), so the URLS (3 of them) to the Subforums I want to visit is no longer applicable.
Rather than wait for Firefox see I visit the new separate URL from that old (and I visited the URL for years), I wonder if there is a way to change the entry in the most visited sites. Or change each time that firefox stores a particular URL has been visited x number of times so decides to include and rank in the list of the most visited.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
You can make visible in the (library) bookmark manager via the menu displays or via the context menu in the header of the column number of visit.
You should probably use the SQLite Manager extension to change this field if you want to make these changes.
History and bookmarks are stored in the places.sqlite file in different tables that are usually linked through a field ID.
You can easily corrupt such a complex is database modifications, so best to let go and to build a new list of the most visited.
- Smart folders show a list created by a query of the places.sqlite database that stores the bookmarks and history in Firefox.
- Smart folder lists show a maximum of 10 entries by default.
- Bookmarks and history items that appear in a list of smart folder are also stored in another file, and any changes are applied to the element of bookmark or true story.

The most visited is not add Web sites. How to set up
I have used normally not IE for browsing, but lately with questions he had, I am using Mozilla Fire Fox. Jargon is a little different and I try to get use to it. The most visited is assumed to follow the last 10 sites that I visited the most when browsing the web.
My problem must be in the settings and I don't know where to go to fix this. Whenever I use Fire Fox and go to a website I thought that it would save for the most visited. In my case, nothing has been recorded in this tab. What hurt during installation?
Your list of details of the system shows you the story disabled, so you will not see the most visited pages and another story.

Hello
IE - Tools - Internet Options - tabs settings general tab - when a new tab is opened, Open - set
to the new tab page - APPLY / OK if already and move to something else, as if you planned
to leave it like that and then go back and set again.I hope this helps.

I accidentally deleted the "Most visited" icon my toolbar. How can I get it back?

The content in the most visited tag on my toolbar doesn't seem to update and contains a few sites I have visited only once. If I look to organize Favorites there is a library for the most visited folder that seems to have a correct information, which is very different from the list of sites under the label of toolbar. How can I get the latest update list?
Is this a smart bookmark with the icon to the same folder as the working version?
If a copy and paste of the Working Group "Most visited" bookmark in the bookmarks (library) Manager only gives not a working copy you can create a new "Most visited" bookmark with location defined place: sort = 8 & maxResults = 10
You must paste the full text in the location field of this new bookmark and probably need to close and restart Firefox to make it work like a smart bookmark.

Family blocked Security Site is shown repeatedly in the most visited site on the weekly activity report
I'm not able to get on the site using the connection to childhood. But reports say the blocked site looked at 300 - 500 times. Even if these are attempts (are they?) this should be reported elsewhere (I thought they were already), I want to see my children are actually using on the activity report. PS I'm not positive on the version of windows.

How can I change the contents of the 'most visited' in the Menu bar
Once Firefox stores 10 entries in "Most visited", there seems to be no way to change these entries (e.g. the installation program "Most visited" while it contains links to Web sites that I want under "Most visited").
When you search Firefox HELP 'most visited' you don't even no matter what success there.
You don't control that made the request, you can change the query, you can prefer 20 hits instead. The search for the address bar with the "AwesomeBar" feature might be more to your liking. In any case do not remove the entries in "Most visited" as you would remove real history
Most visited - bookmark smart folders - recently visited (history)

- After the creation of the bookmark to a "smart folder", you must, restart Firefox, after which the bookmark looks like a folder and will work properly.

AwesomeBar feature allows you to search your history and bookmarks in the location bar to (forward) press "Enter". See the address bar search (internal - full Auto)
See picture of some: I use the AwsomeBar internal search function-related configuration parameters.

How can I control selection of the most visited sites?
At present, the operation of the 'MORE VISIT' adds almost all sites to the list. I can even visit a site only once, but it remains a most visited site. Also, I noticed that some sites that I visit regularly for example. "Al Jazeera English" is not added to the list.
So how is the selection as ' most visited decided?
I hope only that the sites I make visit to stay on the list, otherwise the VISIT MORE is just a short run list of last visited websites. You don't control it. This is a report of your consumption in the last 7 days.
Compare to the list, you see if you the following:- 'Ctrl + Shift + H' (bookmarks > show all history)
- Select "last 7 days" in the left panel
- Click on the 'Number of visit' column in order to sort descending (high top number)
If you do not visit count, just right-click on any column or click on the list of the library and check mark display menu 'Number of visit'
