• Shortcut keys in the Mac Terminal

  I'm changing the keyboard shortcuts in the Mac Terminal app for some functions as select the tab following, selecting the previous tab, and by killing a process. Under system preferences > keyboard > shortcuts > shortcuts > App shortcuts > Terminal > + > "Title Menu" > "keyboard shortcut".

  I was able to get Ctrl-Tab and Ctrl-Shift-Tab using the language you specified.  Extra spaces and exact capitalization, etc...

  I don't know where you saw "kill the process/demolition/KeyboardInterrupt" as a menu item.  I looked and it was not found.

  + Command + C is also the global copy selected text.  You can remap it, but I don't know which menu you were seeking "kill the process/demolition/KeyboardInterrupt.  Maybe a screenshot.

  Of course it makes me wonder why Ctrl-C (standard on all the Unix platforms to kill the current order) is more difficult than the command-c to use to kill the current process.  You are ready to use control during the passage of the tabs, but does not kill a process?

  Other thoughts.  You have all kinds of other software mapping of the keys installed that would interfere with your maps?

• Call a script .bat in Windows since the Mac Terminal

  I try to call a batch script that I have in my VM Windows Terminal on the Mac side.  Using vmrun that I am able to access the virtual machine and run the .bat file, but for some reason, he doesn't get the location of the file specified in the script (the script works fine when run directly in the virtual machine).  This implies that where the .bat is running when it is called terminal is not the actual location of the file on the computer Windows .bat, because it would when run manually inside the virtual Windows machine.  Can someone please help me solve this problem?

  The batch script will run in the guest by a programme of work which the directory will not necessarily be the directory that contains the script. Then, you should use absolute paths in the script, or enter the path to the script as an argument to the script and use it in the script to find other files.

• Cannot make changes to the parents control settings (Windows 7)

  I've seen several comments regarding this same problem, but so far no solution.

  I am the administrator, but I get an error when I try to access the parent on standard accounts control settings.  Now, what's even weirder, is that I am able to access ONE of the standard accounts, and there is nothing different between this account and others.

  I have tried all the solutions already posted:

  -running 'services.msc' and the implementation of parent controls (which is said by the way, says "this service is a stub for of Windows Parental control feature that existed in Vista", which is strange, it's as if there's no 'Parental control' in Windows 7?);

  -create a new administrator account via the control panel (in the case where my administrator account is corrupt), by restarting and trying to put Parental controls

  -create a new administrator account using the command prompt "net user administrator / Active: Yes";

  -in the course of running "sfc/scannow".

  Did you you run regedit as an administrator? It is a common problem in trying just new values. This is done by right-clicking on the program and selecting "Run as Administrator". This allows you to write new values.

  Usually, the Toshiba Recovery CD format the whole HARD drive and erases the drive partitions HARD and game of the laptop back to factory settings.

  You can use the same API, say HR_PERSON_API. update_person and pass date_track as UPDATE_OVERRIDE mode

• I can not change / set the smtp password.

  T - bird 24.5.0 running. On Ubuntu 10.04. There seems to be no way to change/set the password. Here is an overview of the screen indicating a change of account: http://k4gvo.com/images/smtp.png I don't see a way to set/change the password and an exhaustive search of the other menus, including the configuration editor has not helped. For some reason, probably because of an automatic update, he ceased to send emails. I manually installed 24 to see if that helped, but it didn't. This profile/account is probably 5 or more years so there is probably something in the profile that is the pipe upwards. I tried to add a new e-mail account so I could put the server by default to it but it won't let me. He went through all the motions, but when I look in the list of accounts, it isn't here.

  I created a new user account on the system and it I would like to create a usable smtp profile without change it however.

  I'd start on if I can save emails, however when I tried to copy the Mail / directories < account > to another user to test, they never came.

  Setting are OK because I used the same settings on a different system and it works fine. Also, using the same user/pw I receive mail fine, just can't send.
