  After you have added a column for library filters save it as a custom preset and name it what you want.

  Thus, if in the case whenever the filter gets changed default column, you can still select it from your custom preset list.

  That's right, which was removed from vSphere, I think that it might have been some curiosities and items in the past with the command and perhaps removed all together. Technically, the vmware-cmd is an obsolete utility. You'll probably want to take a look at using vCLI or PowerCLI to reconfigure your VM to fire the drive persistent or not persistent.

  You can take a look at the vSphere SDK for Perl, there are a variety of scripts that allow for the wide range of operations against your vCenter, the host and the VM (s): http://www.vmware.com/support/developer/viperltoolkit/viperl40/doc/vsperl_util_index.html.   While there is a slight pain as the script is concerned, the reason is a bit more concerning.

  Section of the knowledge base that you are talking about is for the parallel model, not the model of batch processing. However, if you open the batchuutdlg.c and search for the same test line as described in the KB and add '+ 1', it should work. I have confirmed that it works on my end... just to make sure it's clear, this only changes the dialog box and will not change the numbering in the process template. This numbering being modified requires a much broader effort.

  Regarding change of MAX_NUM_TEST_SOCKETS_VISIBLE 6, I did it too and it shows 6 visible lots in the dialog box. Please do not forget that you just need to replace the number without changing the spacing on the line. You will also need to go in Configure-> model Options and change the number of Sockets of Test 6 to ensure that you see the 6 visible lots. This change will cause the window to expand on the 'Go' and 'Stop' buttons then it should be more changes down these buttons. I hope this helps answer your question!

  I have an acer aspire laptop with win7 ultimate. recently, I could not use my usb ports and everything I plug could not be recognized.
