  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft Answers forum.  We cannot guide you more precisely by changing the BIOS settings that the BIOS settings are specific to your motherboard.  However, most (if not all) parameters of the BIOS have an option to restore the default BIOS (sometimes called "default opitimized").  It may be an option in the menu that you highlight, then press enter or it can be assigned to an F key and States at the bottom of the screen, press F? for the default settings.  I hope this helps.  If you are still not able to reset, check with the manufacturer of PC for more information about the BIOS.   You will need to reverse the clean boot, as it is either incidental compared to
  the real cause of the problem. What, where you try to fix initially using the cleanboot?

  You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If so you can try the configuration - control panel
  The Device Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click the driver UPDATE - then
  Right click on the device and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

  Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure) is
  CTRL + ALT + DEL and the processes tab find EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - and then
  on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is reached
  by tapping F8 as you start several times.

  Use the F2 key to enter the BIOS settings and change the order of boot devices. This option is under the STARTUP tab. Otherwise, you can insert the recovery CD when the unit is turned OFF. Turn it on and immediately press the C button. keep it down for a few seconds and unit is forced from the CD/DVD drive.
