  All 4 titles are coming as complete blends not divisions. I guess that's a problem with the entrenchment of the channels, but can't see how to fix. Andy

  Is what would you say to my quick thought without following through all the processes after the fact, the sequence settings? My thought is that the sequence settings must be multichannel as you show, but each Adaptive track, so this channel map is routed at your leisure. If this is not the case, already, it would create a new sequence with these settings.

• Channel alpha in exporters

  I'm having trouble with a channel alpha to an exporter. Symptoms - no alpha channel is handed over to my exporter by Premiere Pro when you use the source with an alpha channel. I created a test sample video which has rows of (pixel red, green blue pixels, pixel, pixel alpha). So while examining the bits in memory, I always see 0xff for alpha component (i.e., red pixel looks like 0xff 0x00 0 x 00 0xffgreen pixel looks like 0 x 00-0xff 0 x 00 0xff, blue pixel resembles 0x00 0 x 00 0xff, 0xff, and alpha pixel resembles 0x00 0x00 0 x 00 0xff), which resembles for me no alpha channel in the frame. I request images in the BGRA_4444_8u pixel format. Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't this color format give me component if alpha source has alpha? I thought, ' ok, can be parameters of sequence or project have setting that I am not allowing to preserve the alpha ", but as I discovered, Premiere Pro retains alpha, unless explicitly told to do not keep user. Description of the exporter SDK sample project mentioned in favor of uncompressed 8-bit RGB with or without alpha. Does this mean that Premiere Pro should give frames with alpha channel of source is it? I looked at how sample exporter demand for executives of Premiere Pro and info specific to the color format is format of custom colors "sdk", unless I forgot something.

  Hey Petro,

  I looked in the SDK examples, and there are a few adjustments, I had to do to get the Alpha to return successfully, when exporting using the exporter SDK and re-imported using the SDK file importer.

  First of all, I had to make that info in the header of the file has been correctly defined.  In WriteSDK_FileHeader(), I put the number of bits depending on the codec setting retrieved to aid:

  mySettings-> exportParamSuite-> GetParamValue (exID, 0, ADBEVideoCodec, & codecSubType);

  For "Format file SDK", 32 means he is alpha, and 24 only, no alpha.  For both "video codecs" supported, I put it like this:

  The other change I had to do was RenderAndWriteVideoFrame().  One of the parameters for RenderVideoFrame(), SequenceRender_ParamsRec, includes a member called inCompositeOnBlack. Yet once, I set this according to the codec:

  This inCompositeOnBlack may be the problem that you run in.  You must set this to false if you want to than the alpha kept.

• Video with alpha exported from After Effects looks different in Premiere Pro (different opacity)

  Any suggestions guys? We have tried almost all of the codecs that support the alpha channel.

  OK, we found the solution. The problem is in the first sequence settings. Composite linear color must be unchecked!

  I have a number of files AE I want to visit Media Encoder with their alpha channels using the ProRes 4444 codecs. I can't understand how to make ME give me an alpha channel. If I go to AE, I get the alpha without problem. How can I ME give me an alpha channel? I use ME 2014 on a Mac.

  Choose QuickTime. In the list of formats in the video tab, choose ProRes 4444. Scroll to the 'depth' and choose 32-bit. This will allow you to export with alpha channel.

• Fixing of Apple Mail problem - Sierra

  Since the update for Sierra, some attachments are not crossing in my emails. I get the icon trombone of attachment in the list for e-mail & in the header of the document, but I can't open, save or view the quicktime or mp3 files (even though when I open the same email in Outlook, I can access the spare).

  This is happening only since I've updated for Sierra.

  Sierra sometimes omits the last accessory and where there is a single attachment is it still missing.

  It seems to fail if the account is configured for IMAP access. POP access is not the problem. Better send Apple. Go to http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html and em let know.

  This could be linked to the UI, DPI problem in 12.5.1.21. If your display is set to something other than 100%, the user interface is really messed up. If you can hold the tiny icons and microscopic text, then set your display to 100%, and the user interface will look 'normal '. This isn't a fix or a resolution, but it is a workaround.

• Sharing activity with Apple Watch problem

  I added a friend to my shared items Apple Watch and went through all the stages of acceptance.

  However on my Apple Watch I can't see the results of my friend, but on my iPhone, I can see mine and theirs.

  I see that you have added a friend on your Apple Watch to share activities. On your Apple Watch you don't see the results of your friend, but you can see the you and the results of your friends on your iPhone. They see your activity on their iPhone as zero.

  I just started using this feature myself. Watch OS 3 is really cool in how it allows you to share your activity with friends and family rings. I'm happy to help you with this problem.

  Please ensure that all iPhones who share the activity are connected to the Internet and signed in iCloud. Use article share your activity with your Apple Watch, more specifically, this section:

  Activity sharing requires iOS 10 and watch OS 3. If more than one Apple Watch associated with your iPhone, the sharing tab appear not in the activity until you update all your watches to watch OS 3.

• How many computers can I install Apple Motion?

  We have 4 apple computers in my family and would prefer to be able to install Motion on all of them, but I could live with install on 2. I'll buy Motion tomorrow. If I can install on 2 computers?

  I expect to come and go between portable and desktop often. Currently, I intend to have only the PCF on my desk. But I need movement on this desktop and a laptop.

  What worries me is that there may be little order in which movement must be installed on 2 computers. Or license and software Motion works completely independent of license and software of FCP?

• MacBook and Apple TV problem

  Hey all,.

  I'm trying to connect my Apple TV to my mac book, before you say anything to read. It was once I was able to do so and for some reason any it has stopped working. I reset my apple tv, made sure my log-ins were the same for my apple ID, its on the same network. There is no problem with the apple tv. I can prove it by mirroring my iPad to it without problem.

  My question is, it shows on my desk top showing my apple tv is available in mirror however it again, unable to connect. What else suggest it I do? I have not handed over my mac book to OEM again and really hope I don't have to. Thanks for any help that you throw my way.

• Memory Mail Apple Watch problem

  I am running the latest OS 2.2.2 Watch

  I was getting a weird error that I was out of memory, and to remove the photos or music.

  I don't have much music or photos on my watch, and so I did some research more.

  Enter general > use I noticed that my e-mail program "used" 4.9 GB!

  This seems to be some kind of memory leak problem.

  I have reset my watch to the factory settings and restored from the last backup and my mail is now returned less than 100 MB, leaving me with a large 4 GB + unused storage.

  I could not find anything here about this type of problem and therefore to write my 'solution' for others who will probably fall on the same issue. It will be useful.

• Apple ID problems/incidents?

  So here is the situation as a whole, I do not confuse anyone.

  The original Apple ID which was created several years back when I got an iPod Touch 2nd generation, at the time where I don't have a personal e-mail address, so I had to use my father. When I got an iPad 4, I used the same Apple ID (logically, since they were my two devices). Then I got an iPhone, because he was still my own, I used the same Apple ID, the same as with the personal address of my father.

  Here's the problem occurs.

  Work so far, my father now has an iPhone himself. Since we now own separate devices and I had the already created a personal email (but never changed my Apple ID to him so far), I wanted to create separate Apple ID for my father and his phone and mine. The current Apple ID with all my previous information and content in way back my father's e-mail address and name, but I've changed all this already - change to my own email address, check, change the password to one of my own and change my name etc and everything's fine, the new Apple ID has everything saved and is now under my personal identification information. However, when my father tries to create an Apple ID with his personal e-mail (one that has been used originally of my Apple ID, but has since been changed and deleted), he continues to tell us that this Apple ID is already in use and try another Apple. Even when I go to iforgot.apple.com and enter the e-mail address of my father, he tells us that this ID there is no Apple. It's confusing the * out of my and any help would be appreciated.

  Let me summarize your long post to the points as I understand them:

  • When you arrived on the scene of the Apple, you started using Apple ID of your father
  • Later, when you've got your own e-mail address, you have changed old Apple ID your father to your e-mail address.
  • Then, you have been able to keep anything that might have been purchased under Apple ID of your father at that time.
  • Now, your father has recently acquired an Apple device and is interested in establishing a code of Apple.
  • He was expected to use his old Apple ID, because it argues that the e-mail account.  (But this is not possible, like the old Apple ID are never considered retirement.  This old address was passed to your new Apple ID.)
  • What he can do, then, is to pick up a new email address, use it as a brand new Apple ID and start over again in the Apple world.  It will, of course, owner of any music, apps, etc., that you have them.

  Don't know if I've put this in the right section because it seems not to be Apple support, but nobody knows what can be done if you do not know the answer to your security questions when prompted that I had a problem with conflicting apple accounts I want to sort? I tried to contact apple only to satisfy with "we're sorry. We are unable to respond to your request at this time. Please try again or come back later. "I have"come back later"and there is just no change. I don't even have a number to call in situations like this. It would be helpful if they used randomly different security questions at different times, but they do not. Are the only ones they ask "Where was your favorite job?" and "where was your least favorite job? One or both tell me that my answers are wrong. I don't have an email from rescue set up in situations like that. Anyone has any ideas on what to do?
