Character set for the words

Hello

Does anyone know what charset LPX uses for the words when you export a project at noon?

I have set in Hungarian language of OS X. The correct character set for the Hungarians should be ISO-8859-2 (Latin 2), yet when I export a logical project that uses these words at noon, the external drive is not displayed correctly the

That is to say. o is displayed as Ăł or similar, any set of characters I use in other software

P. S.

I submitted a bug report, as this seems to be a bug, but there was no reaction yet on the report

PS.

Never mind, I just realized the character encoding used is UTF-8

  • Character set for the buttons in the UI library (for example confirm Popup)?

I get my head around the issues of fixed character for my new location requirements.

How can I control the language of the labels on the elements that are part of the library of CVI user interface such as the 'yes' and 'No' buttons that appear in a window of ConfirmPopup()?  Are they supposed to follow the language of the operating system?

    Thank you

    Ian

(BTW, it would be great if there is a KB page that gathers the main concepts about the locator tool user interface, several bytes in its chains code, paste the translations of a source such as a Word doc in a .c file, etc..)

    Edit:

Not sure how I missed it before, but here's a related thread . Do I really need to go and replacements of crafts for the panels of the library?

    Hi Ian,

Unfortunately, the CVI Run-Time Engine is not localized, and it isn't a very good mechanism to translate the integrated chains of RTÉ. It is possible, but it is clumsy, and it does allow you to dynamically change your language in a program that is already running.

You must find the strings you need to translate into the message of the BCI (c:\windows\system32\cvirte\bin\msgrte.txt) file. When you see an underscore in the chain feature double character, this means that the following letter is underlined. So if you want to translate the 'yes' and 'No' buttons that serve to ConfirmPopup, you must replace the strings 'today' and '__Yes.

For more information, read the Programmer's Reference > creation and distribution Release executables and dll > LabWindows/CVI Run-Time Engine > configure runtime > translate the Message file topic in the help of the CVI.

Note that if you want to distribute a message file results in a distribution of CVI you must check the 'Install custom Run-Time Engine message file' option in the tab Advanced for the dialog box change Installer .

I understand your point that it is not very good support for localization of the CVI programs, but also why it is not very good documentation for it. It is certainly something that is in the CVI roadmap for future improvement.

I would like to know if you have any further questions.

PL indicate how you plan to upgrade. If you are about to upgrade directly on-site using DBUA scripts or migration, the characters will not change as part of the upgrade. The character set can be changed if you create a new 11.2.0.3 empty database and then perform an upgrade via export/import.

Oracle recommends to use the AL32UTF8 (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e25494/create001.htm#ADMIN13343) characters, but if your application does not expect never to use any characters that do not appear in US7ASCII, you can continue to use this game.

  • Changing the character set in the database 11G

Running Windows 2008 Server 64-bit and Oracle 11 g (V 11.2.0.1.0). I would like to change my default character set when installing from 11 G to CS AL32UTF8.

I read the utility Guide and Guide Support for globalization (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28298/ch11charsetmig.htm#g1011430), but none of these documents shows how you can effectively change everything / the character set of the migration. I would do this using the export and import utilities since this seems to be the most popular recommendation. But I'm really not sure of the procedure to follow to change the CS. For example, should I first export and then import then run the CSCHANGE script that is described in the globalization support Guide?

I would be grateful any guidance on how to actually change the character set to AL32UTF8 and all documentation that explains not only the concepts, but the STEPS of HOW this can be done. Thank you, J

  • Is it possible to set the character set to the instance level?

    Hi all

    I have some confusion.

means my database character set AL32UTF8.

and I want tio character set of instance is WE8MSWIN1252

He is liable to set the character set to the instance level?

Please answer Yes or no and why?

    Thank you and best regards,

Instance is memory process structure and background.

Character set is for the data and the data is stored in the database that differentiate the instance.

    So the answer is no.

  • DPS: Judge to use the parameter Raster or vector in the States of the objects when the majority of the page is a photo. What is the best setting for the overall performance?

I am trying to decide whether to use the parameter Raster or vector in the States of the object when the majority of the screen is a picture (with a modest but important legend for children to read). The legend certainly makes it look more net as vector. But does the photo! The raster setting seems to make the lower-res images in comparison. In my first edition of my application, I thought that raster would be the best setting when the photo was the subject dominating the page. But now, after seeing how strong he looks like vector, (but with almost a refresh of the unacceptable time. Perhaps better on the latest iPad. Most of my readers/students in class will use iPad 2 s, which has a slower processor). I wonder if I should go through the trouble of changing States of photo objects that have the type as well to the vector. It doesn't seem to be as sensitive to a re - draw on the iPad 2 (non-retine)

Is Filesize hit if I make about 1200 on these objects range from Raster to vector? (It is a huge, highly interactive history book, so I'm curious if acutally go to vector on these photos would reduce the size of the file) What is the best setting for the overall performance?

I see the freeks screen outside for a bit if you try to pinch and zoom in a vector object (photo) vs raster. Which is disappointing. Does slow down load time/refreshment in frame, which is a little less. I also found that the drop shadows really bad that redraws effect in vector, almost vibrating in a slide show, for example. Thus, in cases where I need shadows, I'm sticking with Raster.

    All tips go ahead?

  • Character set for message conflict

I am running Win XP Pro w/SP3 and IE7 and OE6 support. When you try to send the entire copy & pasted text of a long article in the NY Times, I get the "conflict message character set" window which offers three choices, send as, Send as Unicode, or cancel (and reissue). It is the first time that I've ever known this error message when sending by e-mail of this kind. Although I sent the message twice, once for each of the two formatting options, none of my many recipients received the message. Since there is clearly no Western European NON-ISO or character sets Windows in the body of my email, what other reasons might be incited the error message? I even tried to copy the text into Notepad, and then copy and paste in OE6 nothing is helping.

The problem seems to have resolved itself and without apparent reason.

    Hello

    I use a pilot LabWindows/CVI and legacy NOR-IMAQ IEEE1394.

I want to put the acquisition of speed setting in my program.

MAX can do (there is a drop down menu to change the speed of 100 MB / 200 MB / 400 MB.)

How can I apply this in my program? The problem is that I can't find the attribute to modify.

    But for speed?

If I take a look at niimaq1394.h I see a data type of enumeration, but nothing else on the speed.

  • How to make the setting for the microphone internal on my Dell Vostro 1540/1550?

The speakers work, but the microphone does not seem to be connected.

    Hello

    ·         What operating system do you use?

    ·         Were there recent changes made on the computer before the show?

    ·         You get the error message?

    Method 1:

Try using the Audio playback problems troubleshooting to solve the problem. It search common problems with your volume settings, your sound card or driver and your speakers or a headset.

Open the troubleshooting of Audio playback

    Method 2:

I suggest you to update the latest audio drivers from the Dell website and check if it helps

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

    See also:

Tips for solving common audio problems:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/tips-for-fixing-common-sound-problems

    Method 3:

I suggest you try these steps,

Step 1: Using Windows Sound Recorder to test the microphone.

You can use this section to find out if the computer can record a signal from the

Microphone and play again. Use Windows sound recorder to create an audio file using the following steps:

    a. Click Start, all programs, accessories, and then click Sound Recorder.

    b. click start recording and speak into the microphone.

When you are finished recording, click on stop recording.

    Screen automatically opens.

Type a file name and click Save. A type WAV or WMA file is created in the Documents folder.

If you can record the Audio using the Microphone using the method above then theMicrophone works well.
Now, it should work in any application that Supports Microphone. If the computer records the audio using the method above, then it might be a problem with the Microphone settings. Now, check the following settings.

    Step 2: activating the Microphone.

    a. Click Start, all programs, accessories, and then click Sound Recorder.

    b. click start recording and speak into the microphone.

    c. Recording tab showing a signal detected for the Microphone device

Note: must have green check mark on that Microphone icon. Is no green check mark, this means that it is disabled. If there is no green mark on micro it never works. To activate the Microphone, right click on Microphone and click Activate. If you do not see the Microphone in the list, right click on the white space and select devices see the disabled. Then, you'd see the Microphone. However, if you don't see the green check mark on it, right-click on it and click Activate. Select Microphone and click on set as default (if defined as default button is active).

If you see the green checkmark on Microphone the Microphone really works.

Step 3: Increase the Microphone sensitivity and non-disabling the Microphone.

    a. Select Microphone and click the properties button.

    b. move the slider up to 100% of its range.

    c. If the mute is enabled, click the button mute to reactivate the device.

    d. If the Microphone Boost is available, amplify the volume.

    e. click OK to make the changes.

  • Problems with static IP setting for the port forward through 2 routers

I currently have cable internet connected to a router (Linksys E2000 w / v1.0.03 firmware). This router is connected to another router, a Linksys E3200 with firmware v1.0.02. In order to correctly forward ports through the E3200, I understand that I need to set up a static IP address on the router.

I almost followed the steps in this video, but when I enter all the IP addresses for the static IP address settings, it allows me to access the router configuration page. I try to get the new IP address that I gave (which he tries to move automatically once I have save settings) and the connection times out. I am able to access internet otherwise, however. From here, I have to do a factory reset on the router and start from square one.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm quite frustrated and would like to get ports forwarded so I can get my server properly set in place.

    1. If it has connected LAN - LAN you will need to disable the DHCP server on the E3200.

    2. the best option would be to use the 'bridge' on the E3200 mode (in the latest firmware) and connect the internet port to the main router.

    3. If connected LAN - LAN (or in Bridge mode) all internet related functions on the E3200, including ports are not relevant. There is no need to set up the port on the E3200 redirects. All shipping is done only on the E2000 and nowhere else.

    4. What is the address LAN IP of the E3200? What is the address LAN IP of the E2000?
