Charger 9V AEBS power?

Hi there, people

I have an Apple AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBS) model #A1034 without a power supply.

I have problems/disorders sourcing a compatible universal power adapter.

I tried using the following information: 5V DC/3 has (3000mA) / 15W. Amazon/Best Buy / Micro Center / Radio Shack / Wal - Mart / etc., NO SOAP!

I thought to go to the local Apple Store and ask about a supply of suitable replacement AEBS, but they would probably tell me to buy a new AEBS instead.

Perhaps a "most recent" AEBS diet would have comparable production?

I have a digital multimeter @ the loan...

My directions: iBook SE (PowerBook2, 2) with AirPort (802 11b) /OS X 10.4.11.

Any insight/input/info would be greatly appreciated

Thank you for your time, James

Works fine... but is not white... If it's important.

  • Satellite Pro L20: battery not charge when the power adapter is connected

    Hello

    all advice appreciated.

I had a Satellite Pro L20 for about 18 months. Recently, battery does not charge when the power adapter is connected. The battery light starts yellow (which means more liberated, I think?), then will both green, the machine sat for awhile. However the ACPI often said that AC is "offline."

There are two recent occurrences that coincide with this problem, I try to eliminate:

    1. my friends rat chewed by the feeder for pets! Power is Mobile OK insofar as he fled sector - the rat seems to have simply chewed by the outer cover (I see some threads, but I think that is just a shield, although I'm not an electrician).

    2. I put the laptop in hibernation for the first time. That seemed to mess up the system a bit, which was what initially drew my attention to the problem. This question is a bit complicated because I'm under Linux (Xubuntu).

I updated the drivers etc from windows when I bought the laptop. Never had any problems until now and have been running linux for centuries. Also, I have mainly the laptop the power supply turned off, but do not remove the battery (is that really a problem these days?)

I obviously need to replace the adapter, but is - it is likely (and how I can check) that the battery was borked until?

    see you soon
    Chris

First, please check if the other are lit.
If the AC led and power led are on the adapter sector is ok and it provides the power to the laptop.

    > The battery light starts yellow (which means more liberated, I think?), then will both green, the machine sat for awhile
If the battery LED is yellow, this means that the battery is not fully charged and if the Green led changes then recharging is caught and the battery has been recharged.

So I really don t see any problems with the charge process.

Maybe the battery is old and so you cannot use it for an extended in such a case only the replacement of the battery could help.

  • Charging battery and power problem problem.

The problem occurs only once I have start the load the laptop after that I used the battery for either a small or for a long period of time.

The battery will begin to charge and the laptop runs from the power supply for 5 minutes at a time. After that 5 minutes, the laptop switches the power source primary battery mode, even if the laptop is plugged.

Another 5 minutes after that, the primary energy source to switch back and the battery will begin charging again. It will constantly continue to do that, even when the laptop is turned off.

This is asif that is defective, however, is the second adapter I used and the same thing happens again. I tried looking in the power settings as much as possible and can't seem to find anything that can cause this problem.

Just today, I noticed that the battery light flashes sometimes white when the laptop has its power as the main primary energy source. I don't know if this has anything to do with this problem. I looked through the manual and support documents as possible and impossible to find a solution to this problem.

If the battery is low, when I start the laptop loading, that means I have to stop using my laptop, that this process will continue to arrive and finally the battery will stop and the laptop will be extended even if the plug is connected.

    Help, please!

    Hello

A friend of mine had a similar problem but on non-Toshiba laptop. The reasons because it is a dysfunction of the taken power there was a loose contact between the socket and the motherboard

The technician said that the motherboard needs to be replaced because it would be too difficult to solder this Jack once again

If the mobo was replaced, but it was a costly affair

Don't know if this could be the case even, but this looks a bit like the issue of power supply...

  • G570 is in charge but wont power on

I noticed this morning that my G570 charge port had been "pushed" too deeply in the housing of the AC adapter to reach it. I opened the case, put the port in the right place and used a little bit of hot glue to prevent it from coming off again. When I reassembled the laptop, it will not power on. I used a multimeter to test the AC adapter and got 20V to the MOBO. When the power adapter is plugged in, the battery led lights white. (He was lit up orange when the battery was dead, but now it is white, which leads me to believe that he is in charge.)

Can anyone think of something I could have screwed up in my assembly/disassembly which might cause this. I tried holding down the power button to clear static. Turns not with or without the battery.

    Thanks in advance!

Oops, missed a ribbon cable that has disconnected. Works now.
Sorry to bother someone. How can I delete a thread?

  • Satellite L300 - battery not charging but the power is to reach to the motherboard

    Hello

I gave up the laptop and after that not get battery. Laptop works fine with battery only. I opened the laptop to find if it is something dislodged. But everything was fine. I checked the power comes up to the motherboard. But do not charge the battery.

For more information, I opened only Panel keyboard and down to reach the power supply cord. I can see the top section of the motherboard page where I checked that power is reached.

    Any body can help?

    Thank you.

    Abir

    > Can any body help?

I think that the material must be scanned for potential problems.
I can only speculate on the defective parts
It could be the power problem or something is broken on the motherboard, but its most of the time impossible to say what's wrong here
So get in touch with a local Toshiba authorized service guy to check this.

  • problems of ultra maxx charges with a power cord

Sometimes my Maxx will begin charging when I plug, sometimes it requires a reboot before it will start to load. I tried a new power cord from Verizon and the results are the same. I got the phone because he is out, and the problem started a couple of weeks. Someone can offer some advice or should I go to? Any suggestion would be appreciated.

By a new power cord do you mean just the cord or adapter as well? If only the power cord that I suggest that you try using a different card first thus.

Also make sure you have the USB plug inserted at bottom. You don't want to lift or turn it on, but push to make sure that it is firmly in place.

If this continues to happen that I would propose a factory data reset. Who will rule on software issues. If the FDR works advertising repair/replacement would be the next logical step. HTH

  • The former charger to new power adapter

    Hello!

As a former owner of Lenovo laptops, I have 3 battery chargers. Two of them use the old round plug end. And of course the tip of the E540 is a new flat.

I would like to leave a charger at work to lighten the bag.

Question: I would like is an adapter for plugging an old charger in a new laptop? If Yes, what is his P/N?

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

    Nice day.

Take a look at the post of Suriya:

Using this FRU P/N the site of parts he came close shows that it is still available.

    Does that help?

    Kind regards.

  • battery not charged after the power failure

I have a HP ENVY 14-2050ed Beats Edition Notebook PC

I was a shortage in the supply cable which caused my HP down.

After restarting the battery wasn't in charge more. The laptop works fine when it is connected to the (new) cable, but battery does not charge and the laptop does not start with a charged battery.

I ran all the steps at http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00259897 , but he has not found the cause of the problem.

What type of repair is required to fix this problem?

Can you recommend a repair center in the Netherlands, or near Rotterdam?

  • ThinkPad tablet charging 2 or power problem

I was on vacation without my Tablet for several weeks, and since I came back, I was unable to turn on the tablet. I assumed that the battery had drained while I was away and plugged in, but there is no indication that he is in charge. When I push the power button, the Green led blinks 1-3 times, but it does not turn on the tablet. By pushing the reset button does nothing.

Anyone know what could be the problem?

Make sure that you use the charger in stock, I couldn't get the initial charge with something else

  • Iconia W4-820 will not charge with the power adapter USB Std

Bought my W4 Iconia four weeks ago, a demonstration model, the last of them. It was packed in the box with a micro USB x adapter USB OTG cable and a power adapter. Back at home I discovered that the power adapter has been to Asus, possibly mixed in the shop. The prospective buyer of the Asus Tablet demo likely will get the Acer adapter. Adapter Asus with micro USB male connector works fine; specs are 5.2V - 1.35 amps; seems to be a STD USB adapter. The Asus adapter has a connector to USB female port to connect to a USB x microphone cable to USB adapter (with cable power adapter came in the box). Bought a 2nd power with USB 2 socket adapter to connect my W4 Iconia and my Garmin Zumo390 browser to an adapter. Specs are 5V - 3.5 amps.
The Zumo works very well with the new card, but does not work my W4. Charge light stays off. USB ports switched to he Zumo and the Iconia W4, but same result. Zumo fresh, but W4 not. Borrowed another power adapter USB, 5V - 2 mines anti-personnel and new Zumo accusations, but the W4 still does not work. Also tried different USB adapter cables, but the same thing; Zumo invoice, W4 does not work.
How is that possible? I can't tell the difference of 0.2 V between the Asus adapter and a USB adaptor STD would make the difference. But maybe I'm wrong. Wanted for adapters for the W4 Iconia and found several, but all the 5V as expected.
    Can anyone help.
Will go to the shop again next week, but if I need an adapter V 5.2 I should order with Acer. 5.2 V adapters do exist not (readibly).

Resolved issues. A dark and humid Sunday afternoon back to the store with the Tablet and all the bells and whistles. Changed the card Asus for the original Acer 5V - 2Amps (10W). Took the time to find the Acer adapter in the store. Demonstrated the adapter 2nd with 2 output USB ports and it wouldn't work with the Tablet W4. Tried another and found to be ok. 2 USB ports have a different power, a port for a smartphone and the other port is one tablet. Total power rating of the adapter is 17.5W (5V - 3.5Amps); some 2.5 and 1Amps. A happy man is back home again.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones battery not charging not after power off

I drop my torch months power completely for the first time.  I plugged it in to recharge, and nothing happens.  I went through all the troubleshooting on the BB site tips, and nothing has worked.  I even tried 2 different Chargers.  Normally when loading, the device is warm.  Not now.  What should I do?

    Welcome to the forums!

Have you tried removing the battery for a few minutes, then replace to see if will charge then?

  • Edge 14. Battery not charging after the Power Manager Update to 6.07 and resetting the battery.

My battery will do not, at all.

The gauge was obviously wrong to happen very quickly after reaching 20%, so I've updated the power to 6.07 Manager and then perform a reset of the battery (I'm sure it's in that order, perhaps first reset).

After resetting the battery charged to 100% back, but as it is discharged, the charger was not.  With the power, the battery is located just at the same percentage and descends very slowly (about 1% in two days).

I tried to play with the parameters of maintenance battery, the meter then said that charge will begin less than 80%, but the battery is already on the 20%.  I checked the firmware in the Manager of power and with the stand-alone program but apparently no update is necessary and T 42, 4755 FRU part number is not listed as needing an update.

Current version of the firmware: 3f98-0004-0160-0130

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Power Manager.  The power windows manager also seems to have the same problem.

I just baught the laptop last year, is a month out of warranty; I need it to be portable to work.

I thought about buying a new battery, but it seems to be the charge function is not working, and the battery was working fine before the reset and the update, apart from the loss of certain abilities and the inaccurate meter.

    Hi NINE.

Thank you for hospitality, the effort and the answer.  Greatly appreciated.

I tried this and just tried to reinstall the firmware of power management.

I finally solved the problem after reading this post by:

    1 shut down the computer.

    2. unplug the power supply cord (and everything - usb and monitor cables).

    3 remove the battery.

    4. play with the spring on the battery switches and shake threatening (probably unnecessary, but you may want to give it 10 to 15 seconds on the laptop).

    5. replace the battery in the laptop.

    6. connect the power cord.

    7. start the laptop and connect.

    Thanks again.

  • HP ENVY 17-2101EA charger what power?

Hi all, I recently bought a used HP ENVY 17-2101EA on ebay, but it has no setup or disc changer. My main question is that when I look at the specs, they say that he uses a 120 Watt charger that seems reasonable given its size and strength, but when I look on ebay there are 2 Chargers announced that mention this laptop - one is 'real HP' and a 'compatible' but both are 90 watts.

Is this false advertising or they will work and it is essential to have a charger 120 watts? If Yes, what is the serial number of the charger?

The portable BTW has not yet arrived.

    Hello:

The adapter a/c for your model is this one... AC adapter smart HP 120 W (PFC RC/V 3 - wire) HP Part # 609941-001.

If you live in the United States, you must also order the power cord that goes from the wall adapter to the charger which is part of HP # 490371-001.

Please refer to Chapter 3, page 25 of the the service manual on the link below.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02772484.PDF

You can order these items from HP on the link below.

$63.00 for the charger and $39,58 for the power cord.

    http://h20141.www2.HP.com/hpparts/default.aspx?mscssid=DF66CA5B9E7744848548FDCD897DB7D5

Or search eBay and other resellers by part numbers and see what you can find, you may be able to find in a State used to much less expensive.

I would not take a chance on a charger with less power that is listed in the service manual.

It may work, it may not, or the laptop can draw too much power and overheat the charger.
