• Do I need a sync cable?

  My Palm treo pro that I bought used does not have a sync cable. As much as I know PDF activesync manual is already on the treo pro. On ebay they sell the sync cable and the CD of drivers USB data cable installation together. Or you can buy just the real cable without the USB cable driver installation disk. Should I drive and the cable or just the cable? I currently do not have the software from the disc on my computer. It costs £3 extra for the CD, so if it is available for free download or I did not need its worth knowing. Ebay purchase links are below-

  There is no trick. It is very hard for the first few times you use it. Just pull evenly and it will be fine.

  The Z doesn't have a cable with a hotsync button. The unit is provided with a tap of the screen to hotsync. It should look like two arrows going in a circle by chasing each other. Connect the USB cable provided with this device and click on this icon.

  to load the keyboard, I have a micro usb cable witch seem to be different than the cable of load data used for the Tablet

  Can I use the data cable to load the keyboard without damaging anything?

  I tested the two cables provided and other micro usb cables and they all work the same. Any micro usb cable should work.

  The only difference between the two supplied cables is the thickness, or shielding. The thicker cable is shielded and designed to be plugged into the yoga. Better armoured cables resist interference that can interfere with wifi or other usb devices.

  bought this after the visit of this forum, but I'm still lost, not really computer savy with regard to this kind of procedure. I have an old computer that I want to transfer photos/media on my new computer, the Member of the forum said it would be the easiest way, so I bought it. But still I don't know how to do this. Make:

  (a) follow my old computer, plug in the cpu of the computer, plug the usb cable and do it this way? or I don't

  (b) plug the new computer, disassemble the old computer, but plug the CPU? I'm really not understanding how it will work, because I need to be able to view what I do from your old computer (to the extent where to locate the files to be transferred).

  Hello again,

  You may want to leave the old computer intact with keyboard/mouse and connected to a monitor. You want to set up your new computer with mouse/keyboard and the monitor. Now, follow these instructions to eHow on How to use an easy transfer cable. You will need to install the software provided with the cable to both computers and when you are prompted, you connect the USB cable to both computers.

  Am I right to think that, even if I make a small modification to an image, the entire catalog 500 MB a completely re - sync every time?

  That's the downside to having your catalog to Google Drive or Dropbox. The catalog is a single database file. It is counted as a single file. If you make any change whatsoever, the entire catalog must be synchronized again. Remember that you are not to make any changes to the individual image files. All changes in Lightroom are stored in the catalog.
