Charger iPad Pro
HY
I asked this Question some time ago, and it bothered me so far.
Question: Could charge you your iPad Pro ore same iPhon with the Macbook Charger 12 "?
Basically I tested it. First with an older iPhone 4S - no problem
Then with a 6Plus iPhon - no problem
Then with the 6s iPhone-no problem
Then with the iPad Pro - no problem
Is anyone out there who is able to confirm that there is no "damage"? long
Thank you
All devices of Apple lithium batteries self-regulate their State of charge. They will not charge to exceed the limits in their firmware. So even if a power supply exceeds the necessary current to the load, they no longer use that they are programmed to use. So as long as a power supply is the supply voltage and at least the minimum required current, the device will be fine. That's why you can recharge an iPhone with a charger for the iPad, but not the reverse, or why an iPad charged that very slowly on the USB port of the computer because the current is much lower than what it can use (and is ideally designed to use).
So make sure that the charger is off + 5 volts (the charger Pro for the iPad itself is estimated at 5.2V) and 2.4 + amps your iPad Pro will load very although she will not accept up to 2.4amps little important how much more your power goes out. If you use a 5v supply that puts less than 2.4amps, the iPad can still collect but more slowly (or it on at the same time, maybe not at all as it may need draw battery power just to keep the screen).

charging ipad pro with usb direct for power strip
Is it allowed to charge an iPad pro using the provided cable connected directly to a usb hub (total 2 ports labeled amp 2.1) on a generic power strip? Does make a difference if another device (iPhone 6) load at the same time? This may damage the iPad pro?
If the ipad pro does not get a higher voltage then 5volts then nothing is capable of ruining in terms of workload

MacBook Pro will not load iPad Pro
I have a new iPad Pro. It seems that my MacBook Pro (retina, mid-2012) is unable to load the iPad Pro. I see in the iPad Pro (lightning) loading symbol indicating that he is in charge, but the percentage of the battery declines nonetheless. If I plug the iPad Pro into the power adapter provided with it (or even in a power supply iPad 1) then it costs.
My MacBook Pro is able to charge iPad Pro?
Thank you!
Correct, and it has been so for all iPads. The output power of the USB port on the computer is not enough to fuel the iPad in use and load it. Apple has always recommended using the power that comes with the iPad to recharge it as it's output is higher than a standard edge computer USB port
The smaller models of iPad (and maybe even the Pro, I have not tried) fresh peut leave a port of the computer if left in mode 'sleep' all connected, but even in this case, the charge rate will be much slower than if using the iPad Pro 12W power supply.

My iPad Pro (10.0.2) says not charging when connected to the nearest 4th USB port of lightning on my iMac OSX end 2015 10.11.6. Another thing that I connect it works so there is nothing wrong with this port.
However, my iPad charges when it is connected to the other 3 USB ports. Tried other Apple cables, restarted my iMac and reset my iPad.
Basically, it's not the iPad, and it's not USB port cuz that they both work when plugged in with something else. It's just the 2 at the same time with the other who do not work.
I'm so confused. Does anyone else have this problem?
Hello. It seems that the charge voltage/current monitoring software has been changed in iOS 10. It is much more sensitive. Your device's charge when says "do not load", but he is in charge, probably faster when it shows the Flash. See the iPad is cool the computer after an upgrade to iOS 10 batches of a discussion of this issue.

IPad Pro 1st gen is no longer charging via rMBP end 2013.
IPad Pro 1st gen is no longer the load via rMBP end of 2013 after the Ipad pro iOS 10.0.1 update
can someone enlighten me on this issue? Apart from the iPad pro requires a larger draw of power than an iPhone.
Thank you.
I ask as its just designed by using redundant DuetDisplay and I need a complete battery to use the ipad as a second display now...

I bought the IPad Pro 128 GB on 3.29.2016. I used it for less than a week. It charged when I first opened it from 67% to 100%. 9.3.1 update. After about 5-6 days, the battery is down to 1%, and now it will not load. I have reset to factory settings and it still doesn't load. There's just 1%. Help, please.
Thank you
Katie
It is under warranty. Suggests taking it for an Exchange.

It does not matter. Load it as as much as you wish... you do not need to load immediately to 100%.

iPad pro icon load acting strangely.
Since iOS 10.0.2 was installed when I charge my iPad Pro 9.7 "icon at the top right seems to act differently.
Before the iOS update when I plugged the cable into the icon would change from the percentage text and a white bar for the battery to a green bar and the prosecution would progress (sometimes the text would update) and move the green bar. When 100% has been reached the green bar would be change in white and below it would say not charging.
It seems now the green bar works fine, up to 95%. So if the iPad goes into 'sleep', when I wake up it it says NO charging current, but there the text usually is greater than 95%? If I pull the rope and reinsert, the bar turns green, but at some point he indicates NO CURRENT charging or the screen goes black and when awakened it indicates NO CURRENT charging.
However, once it reaches 100% now STAYS green bar? He turns not white nor the State DO to RECHARGE not?
I do NOT use a standard charger, but an Insignia desktop charger. This has worked for me for years without problem? Even on this iPad Pro (and an iPAD 2 and 3 in the past).
Ideas? Code modified to load differently to avoid overheating of the battery? My charger is a failure? Do not recharge the iPad is slower than before?
Confused...
Hello. They changed the logic that monitors the loading. As you say, everything works as before. If you use the original charger, that it should behave normally, because it will receive a higher current (faster loading).

iPad Pro battery dead/emptied?
My iPad Pro remained unused during the month or two.
Now it does not turn on or charge it from any outlet.
I tried with:
-original charger and cable
-cable charger and original spare parts
-original charger and shorter cable for iPhone
cable charger and spare parts - iPhones
-The MacBook Air and the original cable
He won't answer for sleep/wake button or sleep/wake + home when 10 seconds or more.
One thing I noticed, is that the Chargers or the iPad Pro generates no heat when connected.
I left that it plugged in all night with original charger and still no luck.
Second thing, it is that I can not confirm if Apple pencil died too, because I'm not Bluetooth on other devices.
version of the iOS is 9.3.2
It of a trip to repairs or is there something I missed?
IPhone can be CHARGED on all methods.

iTunes syncs all my photos with iPad Pro
Hi community, this is my first post here have just acquired a new iPad Pro 9.7 "256GB and I'm a bit of a learning curve. At the age of 67, the old brain is not as sharp as it used to be LOL, but I'm already in love of what can do this little beauty and the screen is all simply amazing. I encountered a small problem that makes me nuts.
I have more 12 000 .jpg photos on my PC I want to load it on the iPad. I connected the iPad to iTunes and synced all my music successfully, but when it comes to photos is not only working properly. I select the photo folders I want charge, iTunes confirms there are 12 000 odd, and starts fine synchronization. The problem is when it gets to about 4 700 synchronized, the synchronization stops just without error messages or explanation. On the iPad in the photo app, only 3 of the 8 files I've selected appear as albums.
I tried several times, turning sync picture then turn it in iTunes but the same result every time.
The iPad has a limit to not disclose on how many photos you can download on it? Useful suggestions received with gratitude, thank you.
Dave.
Congratulations on your new toy.
The iPad may have a limit and it may be that the number of photos but maybe the number of records. ITunes syncs only one file at a time, and I don't know if that's fine with sub folders in the main photo folder. Personally, I gave up Sync photos years because once you sync you cannot synchronize their OFF... you don't just delete them off the coast of the iPad. And I wanted to keep this feature to remove.
For your needs, you can be better served looking for third party soft photos which will give you more control than the built in photos app. I'm scared, I have no name to offer but I know that there are applications out there with more flexibility than the app integrated.
Here people can chime in with recommendations.

29 watts USB - C adapter to charge iPad mini?
Hello!
Can I use the power adapter USB - C 29 watts with lightning to the USB - C cable to recharge an iPad mini or it only works with the iPad Pro?
Best regards, Niklas Johansson
This combination of connector and charger are just for the larger model Pro iPad only.
I would NOT risk it with any other model of iPad. May cause excessive overheating or possibly other potential damage which will cancel any warranty AppleCare that you left, if any.

iPad Pro 9.7 "USB - wattage power adapter?
I'm surprised that the iPad Pro 9.7 "that I just upgraded to a (1st gen) iPad Air only has a 10W compared to Air 12W power adapter.
All confirm that their unit has the same card please?
I can't confirm it directly since I don't own one, but for what it's worth, one a few days ago I saw a similar post on CSA the asking on the charger 10W on their Pro 9.7. And this could confirm:
