    Hello Russ,

You can continue with the following steps to support.  However, if your computer is on a domain, unfortunately, there's nothing we can do.  You will need to contact the system/network administrator.  TechNet forums can be beneficial for a resolution on your http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-us/category/w7itproinquiry.  Please create a Restore Point and backup of the registry before proceeding.

    1. click on start, run, type regedit, and then click OK.
    2. look for the following registry key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
    3. with the help of your account name and password, double-click the DefaultUserName entry, type your user name, and then click OK.
    4. double-click the DefaultPassword entry, type your password in the value data box, and then click OK.

If there is no DefaultPassword value, create the value. To do this, follow these steps: a. in the registry editor, click on edit, click New, and then click String value.
    b. Type DefaultPassword as the value name, and press ENTER.
    c. double-click the newly created key, and then type your password in the value data box.
If no DefaultPassword string is specified, Windows XP automatically changes the value of the AutoAdminLogon registry key by replacing 1 (true) to 0 (false) to turn off the AutoAdminLogon feature.
5 double-click the AutoAdminLogon entry, type 1 in the value data box, and then click OK.

If there is no AutoAdminLogon entry, create the entry. To do this, follow these steps: a. in the registry editor, click on edit, click New, and then click String value.
    b. type AutoAdminLogon as the value name, and press ENTER.
    c. double-click the newly created key, and then type 1 in the value data box.

    6. exit the registry editor.
    7. click on start, click on restart and then click OK.

I hope that this information is beneficial

  • Check box does not appear in the user accounts (netplwiz) Win 8 "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer"

I'm trying to implement the autologon 8 Win who was working a moment fact either. I tried the suggested solution of unchecking the checkbox in the user accounts, but this choice does not appear. I'm not on a domain, just a regular home network.

    It worked for me.

I set up an email on my desktop and it applied security policies.  I deleted the account and password policies remained.

This has removed the policies, and now I'm able to connect without a pw again!

    Thank you!

  • Enter username and password in the URL, 4400g, v5.2?

    Hello

I try to view the contents of a Web site that requires me to connect whenever I go out of the Web page.

Is it possible to include the user name and password in the url itself or there at - there a way to change the DMP web account to match the username and password which is required for the site?

I already tried to use the format http://username: [email protected] / * /

Sorry, this type of feature is not available on the DMP.

A lot of the responsibility lies on website hosting on the way that he

accept authentication or login information.  A web Form or app savy

developer could probably develop an application (as with the iPhone or iTouch)

that could bring up a virtual keyboard that can be used with

the DMP - 4400G and a touchscreen supported.  Then, the user can

Add the credentials using the touch screen.

  • I enter username and password to connect to a Web site, use the site, and then logoff. When I opened the site again, the username and password are alread filled in,

The only way to prevent that I found so far is to close Firefox. When I opened to the top, go to the website, the user name and password are empty. It didn't happen with previous versions of Firefox.

You can set the Boolean signon.autofillForms false pref on the topic: config page.

This can also be caused by cookies that are not removed correctly when you disconnected.

  • I accidentally entered username and password together. now firefox 5 suggests their time revealing password to another user. How to clear?

The box that opens automatically suggesting the user name for a site as the first letter of my e-mail address is typed reveals my password for the site.

You can select an entry from the drop-down list and press SHIFT + DELETE to remove it.

  • Thank you Firefox to disable my roboform module! It has never crashed since the update to Firefox 8. Totally stable with roboform 7.6.1! Now the disadvantages of entering usernames and passwords manually again. Bloody leave alone things that work!

You have disabled my roboform module. I want what he re-enabled. I don't have a problem. So it's not broken don't interfere and "fix"! Leave it alone.

    Install Roboform 7.6.3.

  • The function of master password automatically enter other sites usernames and passwords when you access these sites, or that they are always manually?

Master password enter usernames and passwords automatically, or should the user still manually enter this info?

Yes, after you set a master password, you will be asked to enter when Firefox needs to access your stored passwords. It will "unlock" the usernames and passwords you have saved and Firefox will automatically added automatically in for you when you navigate from site to site.

When you are finished using the web, you can exit Firefox to "lock" your usernames and passwords.

  • When a user sends an e-mail with an attachment through OWA, the recipient is invited to the username and password of the sender. Obviously, they don't and should not have this information. It happens on all emails.

The sender has not knowingly set any security or passwords.
Require that all attachments sender recipient username and password.

  • Windows client horizon Workspace - registration of username and password

    Hello

is it possible to save the user name and password in the Windows Client workspace?

Currently, when the network is not available or when the client disconnects, I need to re - enter username and password to authenticate. Can he work as a client Dropbox (IE always connected sound?).

My version of workspace and the customer is 1.5.2.

    Thanks to all in advance.

I have it and it works as well for the customer and the web interface. In fact, it is a must in my opinion. Of course when you are outside your network, you will need to enter your creds. But that's normal. One thing that I got hurt on SSO can be difficult to implement sometimes. Go and check, go to a domain controller, the properties of your connector object that will be SSO. Ensure that:-on the delegation tab him 'trust this computer for delegation to all services (Kerberos only)"is selected otherwise, it won't work.   -On the control of the editor attribute, the ServicePrincipalName also has the correct values as HOST/connector-vaX.yourdomain.com (we have a split dns and workspace is on mydom.com and initially it was set local.mydom.com when the object was created) fun Seb

  • about stored user name and password on the XP computer

    Hello
I have a question about stored username and password on XP pro computer.
If you go into control panel - user - accounts select the account name and there is an option to click on manage my network passwords.
I have this computer from someone and I checked the "window system" under control panel, under the name of my computer, it says that this computer is part of the Working Group, not in the network domain.
but I checked the manage my network passwords window and I found a saved username something like that...

    • Server: domainname.com
    • username: www.domainname.com/something

This server name, address domainname.com, that I found on the list seems to exist as a real Web site and that the stored information seem to be created automatically for some reason any (not manually), but I was wondering what it is exactly...
This means that my computer (my user account) is a network of area or participate in a domain network? or is it just to access the site online?

Here's the link talking about stored username and passwords on XP, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306541
but I'm still confused because they speak of domain or the domain network? and my computer is in the Working Group, not in the domain network according to panel system from my computer window.

If anyone can help me with an answer, I would really appreciate it!

    Thanks in advance.

This means that my computer (my user account) is a network of area or participate in a domain network? or is it just to access the site online?

Certainly, your computer is not connected to a domain or a domain environment. If you use your computer at home without any connected networks, it is not connected to a domain as such. By default, a computer would belong to a workgroup.

You just leave things as they are.
