How to read both separately?

Or how can I check if the use has been double-clicked left front click eventdoes his stuff?

Shako, I fear there is no trivial way to tell apart them.

The site search OR I found a KB article for a similar problem in LabView.

So that they have the same problem, too

I felt weird that I had this situation before. Probably, I have never had to use the two events at the same time.

Original title: left click not working not not on HP laptop

On my HP Elitebook 2760p running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, left click on the touchpad button has stopped working.  The right click works, the works of pad, (scrolling and click on) it's just the left click.  It started after the execution of the new update of adobe. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver synaptec. I tried the mouse fast and slow speed. I tried pressing rigid, flexible, in different places. I would try to uninstall the update from Adobe, but it won't allow me.  So I uninstalled Adobe Reader and re-installed. Still nothing. Any suggestions?

    Hello

You may have a hardware problem and need a good computer shop (no leeks and peaks at)
a Best Buy or a big box store) or the technical support of the system manufacturer.

Panel of configuration manager devices - mouse and pointing devices - Double click on the touch pad-
The driver tab - click on Update Driver (which is may not make anything like MS is far behind certifying)
(drivers), now right CLICK on the touchpad and UNINSTALL.

Then go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers except the category itself (all in).
    RESET

This will refresh the driver for the TouchPad and battery USB.

Here is the similar procedure in XP, Vista is the same, except that we need to clear the specific
    device if present.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310575

Then go to the system manufacturer's website and get the latest touchpad drivers to install or reinstall.

Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-click on - RUN AS ADMIN.

  • Left click acts because several clicks it please help

    HP pavailion p7 - 1126 s

64-bit edition Windows 7 Home premium

no errors/changes (other than to change the mouse and uninstall/reinstall of the drivers/software for the mouse).

When I make left clicks it clicks several times, most of the time that just double click. Click on 2 to 4 times a left click. And he has been doing worse, clicking more quickly and more often... Also, when I try to highlight something and release the left button of the mouse insteads click once or twice, unhighlighting the text. I do 5 or 6 times before getting the part highlighted. So I tried to uninstall and reinstall the software of mouse button 3 HP supplied with this system. After that it does not work, I brought out my old Logitech USB M100 mouse optical wired. I still have the same problems with it, so I know it isn't the mouse that is the problem, or I would just buy another. I had mice to break or wear out, but what a new to me. And yes I checked the control panel mouse settings entirely. And no, I did not set for one-click button to act as two clicks. And yes I checked every possible there double click speed setting. With this many road, all suggestions will be tested, with the results posted in the same day.

Recently borrowed a friends wireless mouse to solve the problems. And got the first fix of time (other that the two I tried before were older but still the optical/laser mouse). Was crazy how every time were either so worn that they had double clicks as a click (both also had drinks spilled on/round them which was a consider) left or the software was so old, it was beyond what microsoft or retailer could solve/bring answers to the. But when the borrowed mouse worked I knew immediately if we can do that... another could as well. Thus, after the conflict and download to re - download drivers for these mice. I now have this problem solved by 'just to buy a new one.' And Word to the wise to you ehoser, YES system restore is bad on your drive, I now have a name that I used (unfortunately) symbols with (as unique and the only name) as my main admin. login name and now all programs says it can not find this user and install anyway. (Had no idea he was going to do, it worked fine w / vista) and there is no way to change this, you can but its stored in the registry as what it was named and even tried to copy this ACCT. w / a new name provided it w / admin and had SERIOUS PROBLEMS w / who but not by doing another reinstall its bad ennough than its prob. corrupt my registry as unknown user etc. not to mention the damage that I have for it by reinstalling win 7 times. And as too remote ups come on, good work on your part for the USB key, a friend encouraged me to buy one saying "if its something you can't live without it, BACK IT UP! It was years ago, while they were the baby size 100-250 GB usb readers, I always clean. And again, using the same purpose.

  • Left click of the mouse does not respond in the office and I could see 2 together (Picture) Office

Everything works well today that the left click of the mouse is not responding on the desktop (icons does not meet the double click). Right click works ok, and left click works well on programs and in the taskbar.

Weird things here, it's that I can see two desktop at the same time.

    I have attached a picture.

    Can someone help me?

    Thanks in advance.

I got disabling the system restore, so I can't go back to a good version.

Turn off the system restore makes things much more difficult. Your problem is probably due to an inappropriate registry setting. You can restore your registry files manually to a previous point through the steps described below. The process is complex and requires some careful typing. Ask a computer-savvy friend to help you if you lack experience in this field. You may reset your password to an earlier value.

Check the date of the file C:\Windows\System32\config\regback\System. It precedes the date when you became aware of your problem? If so, follow these steps:

    1. keep tapping F8 during the first phase of startup.

    2. Select repair in the menu that looks like this.

3 log in as administrator if you are prompted.

    4. Select repair when prompted.

    5. Select the command line in the menu that looks like this.

    6. identify the correct drive letter for your Windows installation. It could be one drive other than c, but it will not X:. You do this by typing commands
    DIR C:\Win*
    Dir D:\Win*
    dir E:\Win*
until you find the Windows folder.
    I'll call this "Q:" drive
    7 type these commands exactly:
    CD /d Q:\windows\System32\config
    xcopy *. * Q:\MyRegBack\
    CD RegBack
    8 type these commands:
    copy software / y...
    /y copy system...
    /y copy Sam...
(the two points are part of each order)
    10. restart normally. If things don't work then you can go back by copying files from the original register of Q:\MyRegBack to Q:\Windows\System32\config.

  • E520 touchpad without left-click functionality

    Hi all!

I have serious problems with my Thinkpad Edge E520.

The function of mouse-click-left of my UltraNav and Touchpad don't work anymore.

The buttons are clicking normally, but have all the features.

I use a dual boot with Win7 Home Premium SP1 and Ubuntu LTS 12.04.1 system

    I did several checks:

    • Button navigation and do a right click of the touchpad works properly
    • Touchpad left - click with the button-button clicking correctly, but no functionality
    • Touchpad click on feature does not
    • UltraNav Trackpoint and rickt-click-button works correctly
    • UltraNav left - click with the button-button clicking correctly, but no functionality
    • switching the results of left-handed configuration in a work correctly right click button with left click for Touchpad and UltraNav function
    • External USB mouse works fine with Win7
    • External USB mouse works do not correctly with Ubuntu (no left click feature)
    • Fresh format and reinstall the system dual boot - remaining problems

Since the behavious is also the same with Win7 and Ubuntu and rest after a new installation of two BONES, I guess it's a hardware fault!

    Any suggestions?

I have the fix.  at least my T410s correction.  The Ultranav is bad and must be replaced.  You can disable the Ultranav buttons and you get back to the left click on the keyboard and press the Ultranav double-click, but you lose the functionality of the two lower buttons.

Fortunately, I have access to another form w / similar T410s that worked very well.  I decided to change the keyboard, but there was not change.  So I then swapped the palmrest with the Ultranav and presto!  It works again!

My conclusion is that the Ultranav went wrong and fastest solution is to get a new palmrest with Ultranav.

    Peace out!

  • left click in the web browser options are disabled in the latest version

In all previous versions of firefox, I had no problem in the drop-down list when a left click to open a link in a new tab or save the highlighted text or even to save an image on my disk. But now with the last update (20.0.1) I came across something that bothers me by the length of the drop-down list (too long, too much stuff on it) and half the options are disabled, making it harder for me to surf the web that I used to do. I took a screenshot of my question. I hope this will help. In addition, that my OS is windows 7. http://www.darkworlds.se/images/other/firefx20bug.jpg

It is a problem to have an out-of-date version of Firebug, most likely you have disabled the automatic update of the addons.

The best way to fix it is to go to tools-> Addons and then clicking the wheel upwards button near the search box. From there you choose ' Check for Updates ' and unless you need specific versions of an add-on, choose "automatically updated addons ' while you there.

You will probably need to update Firebug twice, because it updates a version obsolete and from there to the newest one.

It's the solution, I came on as I had the same exact problem, I tried to create a new profile and tastes.

  • Left click does not work in Hotmail or Yahoo

I was running low disk space and my IT dept says: they removed some "temporary files". Everything they did watered IE so that she came back to v7 V8. They Redid the upgrade of IE and installed a bunch of updates to MS and updated Java, but I'm still having a problem in FF. Most of the sites are fine, but when I go to Yahoo or Hotmail email, left click does not work. I tried to uninstall/reinstall FF. I tried to launch FF in safe mode and reinstall some of the plugins I thought that might have effects. I still can't run. I used some of the tools web dev in FF, all I know is some of the errors that are reported on the loading of the page. On Hotmail, one is that a var called 'JQuery' is undefined, among others.

  • Portege R30 - Touchpad left click or tapping in do not work

    Hello

Left click or tapping in do not work.
Tried to reinstall the driver or restart in safe mode, but it works only for 2-3 minutes and stops again.

    Hello

Computer laptop additional AccuPoint support. Right?

Go to control panel-> mouse-> device-> advanced features parameters settings
Here, you will be able to change the setting for Accupoint as well as for the touchpad.
I recommend to check all options that could affect the left-click or press

But if you can exclude all software related issues (like the touchpad driver failure or wrong settings) and if you are not able to solve the problem by retrieving the unit while the problem might be related to a hardware malfunction of touchpad.

  • CTRL + left click does not work for me, so I can't open the link in a new tab using this shortcut!

When I press ctrl + left click on a link, nothing happens. The only way to open a link in a new tab is by right clicking, which is not very practical

I had this problem as well. I reduced to a conflict between two of my addons. In my case, Tab Mix Plus v0.3.8.6 and GreaseMonkey v0.9.10. Then, I checked the sites for these two addons and discovered that this is a known issue and will be fixed in GreaseMonkey v0.9.11 (which apparently is in beta at the moment).

For those of you experience this problem, check if your addons may be causing it.

  • Satellite A200-1YX: sometimes Touchpad left click

My A200 is 20 days. OS is Vista Home OEM.
From time to time, my left touchpad product clicks, which can be very annoying if I write something.

I know it's left click, because if I have large text, my cursor appears from time to time in the line where the pointer is at the moment.

I tried with the uninstall/install Touchpad drivers, but it did not solve my problem.

    Best,
    VJT

    Hey, Dragan

Please don t be angry with me, but I n t think a touchpad could create left clicks automatically.
I think that you accidentally hit the surface of the touchpad while typing, and consequently, the cursor put another position.

Try to disable the touch pad using the FN + F9 key combination and check if it happens again
