check the type VI for call by reference node

Hi Ppl,

I call a set of VI dynamically using call-by-reference node. And I have a type specifier linked to a component of a particular type connector. But at the time where the VI prototypes do not math I get the error from the open VI reference node. Is it possible to check if the components of connector VI matches before opening the refrence with the specifier of type VI?, or by using the error code is the only way to check if there was miss match to component connector VI.

Thank you

But what is the problem with error control?

For example, I use the code like this in my application to detect what type of Dynamics VI should be used (decision based on the error output):

  • How to check the Toshiba HDD for the failures and bad sectors?

    Hello

I didn't really know where post this so im sorry if it's completely irrelevant to anyone, but I have an Alienware laptop and they can not help me (I know what your what to think he done here then?) so I was wondering if anyone knew a software that allows me to check the Toshiba HDD for bad sectors and failures etc.

I used Hitachi Drive fitness test, but it will not help other that say there are critical and even with the seagate software, all mistakes two loading floopy. It would really help, and I couldn't find anything on the part of the customer support site. The answer probably lies with Alienware, but I can't contact them by phone right now...

    Thanks Khaloi.

    Hello

The easiest way is to use the Windows operating system error checking option.
Please go to the "My Computer", right-click on the drive and choose Properties.
In the 'Tools' tab you will find the error checking. Here, you can mark them automatically fix file system errors and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.

    Hello.

Unfortunately, we are not able to open the link you have provided. You can display information about your memory on the web iDRAC under hardware and memory interface. You see the type of error correction (ECC or Non ECC) within the information memory page. You can also view the same information on OpenManage Server Administrator and even make use of the memory part number to find out more information.

    Concerning

    KasunA

Found a workaround.  The problem is that, before the 7695070 patch is applied, the installation program backup directory/apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk in /apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk_backup_existing_version, but then it clears. / jdk - the patch fails because it can't find it.  I had to rename the directory of the jdk for jdk2, and as soon as it gets deleted quickly and rename jdk2 jdk.  Then he applies the patches without problem.  A symbolic link would do the same thing.

I found the suggestion to check the ESX memory for problems.

I found the information that ESX 3.0 was ramcheck service which could check the memory, but there is no such service in future versions of ESX.

Could someone help me find how to check the memory without stopping the ESX Server (I could not migrate virtual machines per host)?

The only way you will get a true test of the memory of the HOST must stop it and run the test directly. Any tool running in the ESX console will only have indirect access RAM. The vmkernel controls access to physical RAM.

  • How to check the resources authorized for a specific organization?

    Hello

I would check the resources authorized for a particular agency.

I would use resources such as my driver. The cursor will move by resources with a matching name to a string, then I would choose a count (*) of a certain table that correspond to the authorized resources of a given organization. If this counter is zero, then I add this resource list resources allowed for this org.

I would have 2 sliders, 1 loop on resources and another one through the organization.

I know that the method getObjectsAllowed (orgKey) will give me a result set of the resource permitted for a body with the orgKey that I spend in. I'll have to loop through the result set. I want to save some coding. So, I thought that if I could put a count (*) selection of... so I don't have to go through authorized resources.

Is there a way to select a table or a set of tables to get the resources authorized for a given org?

    Thank you

    Khanh

Refer to the table of the ACP.

  • How to open the file? Many types of files, check the type and call app to open it.

    HI.everyone.

I am doing a project like dropbox.

    The problem is:

server-side has several files of different types.

such as: word, excel, file, file pdf image and so on.

    After the file is downloaded.

How do I know what app is the type of file.

and call this app to open the file?

I can get the file type of the file name extension.

But I do not know how to find the application that can open this file.

or if this device have any application can open the file. Then, it will show you an alter.

    like dropbox app.

    Please help me.

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

For above 4.3 and higher, you can use API call to achieve this. In regards to my understanding, it works as follows (Please correct if I am wrong).

-All files (PDF, excel etc) readers save with BONE graft as "I am able to open the file whose mime the type XXX.

    - So, when you pass the path to the API Invocation, it searches for reader app there is place and request that you open the file. (I know not if more a reader installed in the device that achieved reference)

Here's the code that worked for me,

    Invocation invocation = new  Invocation();
    invocation.setAction(ContentHandler.ACTION_OPEN);
    Registry registry = Registry.getRegistry("");
    registry.invoke(invocation);

If none of the application saved in the requested file format it then throws the exception.

Another option is to pass the path to the browser by using the private API to display the files...

Let me know if it works for you...

    Thank you

  • How to check the type of connected database?

    Hello

Our Application has some complications and depending on the type of database, he chooses necessary action.

    Need us:

Is there any common query that can tell if the database is

    version 11g OR 12 c NO CBD GOLD CBD GOLD PDB 12 c 12 c.

Our Application needs to do some prework (prechecks) before creating the schema in the data above.

and this prework is different for each of them.

The problem right now I m facing if I run a query "select name, CBD of v$ database" to check if the database is CBD or the CDB, NO.

Same query executed on 11g gives an error, as the CBD is not defined in 11g.

So, what is the best way to do it.

    Thank you.

I imagine that if the application is an installer, it might want to be sure, there are enough Cancel to install a game potentially important objects.  I can't understand the question though.

  • How to follow the direction of Adobe 'Flash uninstall"to check the Firefox browser for the 'status' of Adobe Flash? --

I downloaded Adobe uninstall (for Mac, OS x 10.4ff) and he ran to get rid of old shards of Adobe Flash, be very careful to follow the Adobe provided through their Web site. The last thing they ask you to do is to "Check that the uninstall is complete", by restarting your computer and then open your browser and check the status of the Flash Player. BUT it seems not to be a way to check the State of Adobe Flash Player on current versions of browsers Mozilla product.
How can I check that the old version of 'Flash Player' is really gone?

I can't access my hotmail account among some other sites since the upgrade to 3.6.8 on my macbook. I get the following message: "the proxy server refuses connections. Firefox is configured to use a proxy server refusing connections. Check the proxy settings to make sure they are correct. Contact your network administrator to make sure that the proxy server is running. "I can not even find the proxy settings more.

Windows: Tools > Options > advanced > network > settings
OSX: Firefox > Preferences > advanced > network > settings
Linux: edition > Preferences > advanced > network > settings
Set your settings to connect to the 'No proxy', if you are not using a proxy.

Firefox 3.6.6 added a new preference for connection settings, use proxy Panel"system settings", and the default value is the point. " This new preference does not affect most users, because they probably do not have a proxy set in place in their operating system. Therefore, most users should use the setting "no proxy".

In Windows 7, you can get a lot of details by selecting Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, system information, components, storage disks. It was very similar to Windows XP, but for all information users tend to use Everest or Belarc Advisor for additional information not available. Everest has been best Bellarc advice but they ceased to offer tan updated free version. However, the 2.20 version is always available from third-party sites.
