checkSUR for Vista sp2 64-bit ultimate

After trying to install SP2 to Vista Ultimate 64 bit with Windows Update I got an Error 80004002
I downloaded The Check upadate KB947821 system tool and he moved
Then I downloaded the SP2 Windows6 update. 0-KB948465 - X 64 it cannot install
quoting the error message error after ERROR_SXS_COMPONENT_STORE_CORRUPT (0 x 80073712)
I disabled all firewall anti-virus etc revived the KB947821 and then restarted
I tried SP2 install again and received the same error ERROR_SXS_COMPONENT_STORE_CORRUPT (0 x 80073712)
So I checked the sfc/scannow
and he said the following to connect the CBS.log file, listed the files broken or anything that's not going to

Anyone who has the expertise to tell if the files listed here are to blame, or if they have any other fixes
I'm not keen on a boot as possible ill lose me restore points and I don't really want to use restore points to be

Help please (PS I also had my first real blue screen when using my new PC BOO HOO! It's what killed my Millennium window Machine all the reboot and it fried it so I don't want it to happen with my new laptop beautiful. I upgraded to windows 7 but I'm holding off on it even if some of the features like the nod to the adorable screen.

Using Windows Vista SP2 (32 bit), cannot install IIS.  Tried several of the resolutions found on the web to turn (uninstall .net 3.0) to uninstall WAS.  Still nothing works.  Look at the event log, it appears that the TrustedInstaller.exe is in a loop that indicates that Windows Servicing began a process of change state KBxxxxx package installed to installed.  I have this day to the next release and we found thousands of entries repeated over and over as it in the event Log.

I would say the TrustedInstaller.exe has been hacked or corrupted, but daily MS patches are applied without error.   I also ran the SFC/scannow command without success.  I tried to restart, don't turn off unnecessary services, execution of installation in Mode safe... go!
I'm surprised there isn't a utility which will ensure the components that need to exist in the version required for IIS, well... does not exist!
Any ideas?  I need to get the IIS services are installed for the development of a website of ASP.NET ASAP!

I have only a limited understanding of IIS and ASP.net.

    1. What are they? IIS 5, 6, 7.0?
    2. make sure that your version of Vista can support.
Go to programs and features > column to the left, turn Windows has on or off > scrolling Internet Information Service > expand (+) sign and make sure if its level of compatibility under Web management tools. Home Premium can go as far as IIS6. > Make sure check marks are on the elements you need to install IIS.

    3. from what I understand, the version of Vista Ultimate and superior is required to install IIS 7.

This is as far as I know.

To install IIS 7, here is a tutorial:

    UPDATE!

Well, looks like I found a work around for this problem... It seems that the problem may be how some protocols are initialized.

    What has been done differently:
Firstly, I uninstalled the software of Broadcome of the control panel without removing the installed bluetooth drivers. Go into the Device Manager, I have disabled the Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator, and THEN proceeded to reinstall the Broadcom (6.3.0.200) software. During the installation I noticed a few differences, such as additional steps in the installation and new options being installed just to do this step.
    Stereo works! :
Work with my bluetooth device with the disabled enumerator however resulted in matching errors and the connection of my headphones to the audio gateway. Then I enabled it, then connected using the shortcut placed on my desk and instantly had stereo bluetooth.
    The solution for MY problem:
After disconnection and reconnection, it would not pair in stereo, so I worked around this by disabling the enumerator, reactivation, and then you reconnect. Stereo audio worked properly...
Hope this helps all users as well as the Microsoft team to find something to prevent users from having to implement this step.
    Thank you!
  • Order a DVD of installation for Vista Business 64 bit

    Hello

I recently bought a copy of Vista Business 32 bit of the technology of my college Department. I originally wanted the 64-bit version, but this version is only available for students. I was told, however, that I would be able to order a 64-bit installation DVD. I went to the Windows Vista alternate Media page and entered my product key, but it came with a message that told me that he was not available. I'm just curious what about if I am actually able to order a 64-bit installation DVD or if there is even one for me to order.

I searched hp website, but they just drivers for windows 8 and 8.1.  I want drivers for windows 7 64 bit... Please help me...  I need this laptop in working with in three days... what should I do?

and my laptop boot screen I think its called BIOS language is in Chinese... is it possible to change the language to English for the BIOS?

    Hello:

1 install the Intel chipset driver and restart.

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?AGR=Y&ProdId=816&DwnldID=20775&keyword=chipset+ins...

    2. install the Intel graphics driver and restart.

    64-bit:

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?AGR=Y&ProdId=3720&DwnldID=23639&ProductFamily=GRAP...

    3. download and install MS .NET Framework 4.0.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=17851

    4. download and install the latest amd catalyst driver beta.

    http://support.AMD.com/en-us/KB-articles/pages/latest-catalyst-Windows-Beta.aspx

Then you should be able to use the rest of the W7 x 64 drivers and software for this model except the audio.

DO NOT USE ALL DOWNLOADS OF BIOS OR FIRMWARE FROM THIS LINK

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=4063&LC=en&cc=us&DLC=en&sw_lang=&product=6521374

Audio: Accept the agreement, download and install the driver for the second on the list.

    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1&PNid=24&PFID=24&level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GETDOWN=false

As much as if/how to change the startup BIOS display language, I don't know.

  • Is it still useful to install SP2 for Vista on 64-bit system? What are the benefits?

OK, so I have Windows Vista Premium Home Edition on a laptop HP with Service Pack 1 installed. I have disabled the automatic updates of Windows functionality, because there are so many unnecessary and space-hogging updates that I can't be bothered. I've never had a problem with the system or security issues (I use Avast Antivirus among other tools/software as needed) and I've had this phone for almost 2 years now. In the past, whenever I installed a major update, it will eventually create problems that were not there before the update so I'm really hesitant to install SP2. ONLY that I even consider it is because I have problems with Windows Movie Maker and tried to install Windows Live Movie Maker, but it won't let me do that without having installed SP2. To install SP2, I have install all the boring updates I have never installed SP1. so, all this makes me wonder if it's the same penalty to install SP2 in the first place? I can use other video editing software, if necessary, but if someone can tell me what SP2 has or does that SP1 is not, and all the benefits of the installation, I would be better able to make a decision. Any advice? Info?

    Thank you!

If your happy with SP1 and your AV software with the new version of each exercise supports still SP1 then follow it. Just be aware that Microsoft (and I'm not a Microsoft employee) will give you no support after the data that I posted.

  • are HP 6715 b drivers for Win 7 64 bit Ultimate, available?

    Hello

I was wondering if my laptop HP6715b support a 64-bit version of Windows Ultimate edition with drivers. When I go to the page of the drivers for this model it lists only drivers for Windows 7 (Basic and Premium) Home and business versions. Win 7 Ultimate is not listed.  Thank you.

    Hello:

There are W7 x 64 ultimate drivers listed.

    http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/readIndex?sp4ts.Oid=3356631 & swLangOid = 8 & swEnvOid = 4061

You will have to use a part of the Vista Business x 64, such as the graphic driver drivers and which need to be installed manually after you run the file.

  • Vista SP2 32-bit, Windows Update continues to install KB979683 and then re-list as a new "important update available"

Automatic updates of Windows installs KB979683, and then in the next update checking, it is listed under "important update available". He repeated every day for three weeks.

Under 'View Update History', he shows again and again KB979683 installation successfully.

Under 'updates installed, he said, "no update is installed on this computer". So I can't download it manually on my desktop, uninstall the update, restart in safe mode and reinstall manually. Also, when I tried to install manually in safe mode without deleting the file, I received the error 0X8007043c.

I tried stopping the windows update service, and then delete all files in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution > DataSstore and C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution > download, then by restarting the service, but it did not help.

I've updated and run Malwarbytes Anti-Malware 1.46 and AVG 9.0.829, but found no threat.

I use windows, as well as automatic daily scans with AVG firewall (manual scans with Malwarebytes: daily).

I don't know if it's important, but I'm under IE8, version 8.0.6001.18882, 256 bit zero versions updates. I have seen a recent update was available for IE8 (KB982381) but when you try to run manually, he said that the update does not apply to my system.

    Help, please!

    Thank you, Todd.

There is a good chance that you see the effects of a (including a W32/Alureon rootkit) hijackware infection!

NB: If you had no installed anti-virus application or subscription has expired * when the machine was first infected * and/or your subscription has expired since and/or the machine is not kept fully corrected in Windows Update, don't waste your time with any of the following: Format & reinstall Windows.  A repair install won't help!

    Otherwise...

    1. see if you can download/run the MSRT tool manually: http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx

NB: Run the FULL scan, not analysis FAST!  You may need to download the MSRT on an uninfected machine and then transfer the MRT. EXE to the infected machine and rename it to SCAN. EXE before running it.

2B. Vista or Win7-online this scanner instead: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/whatsnew.htm

    3. now post the logs required in a forum appropriate for support by an expert in the field. DON'T SKIP THIS STEP!

I can recommend the assistance of experts available in these forums: http://spywarehammer.com/simplemachinesforum/index.php?board=10.0, http://www.spywarewarrior.com/viewforum.php?f=5, http://www.dslreports.com/forum/cleanup, http://www.bluetack.co.uk/forums/index.phpand http://aumha.net/viewforum.php?f=30

If these procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, good reputation and stand-alone computer (that is, not BigBoxStoreUSA or Geek Squad) repair facility.
