Choppy video playback Z500

Given that I have updated to 8.1 when I watch videos on the internet (youtube, 4od etc.) the picture sometimes freezes for around a second or 2. This happens not when im watching a video through VLC player or whatever it is that has not passed through the internet. I tried different browsers and I always had the same problem.

It happens sometimes worse than other periods.

  • Choppy video playback in Windows Media Center (Windows 7) WTV

I recently experienced a video playback jerky with windows media center.  Sometimes the recorded TV (WTV format) play very well for about 2-3 minutes until the video playback is very jerky (probably about 5 to 10 frames per second instead of the usual 30-60 fps).  The audio is not again normally.  Windows Movie maker also plays choppy video (Windows Media Player seems to work very well).  The main menu of Windows Media Center, itself becomes generally restless slow when I'm scrolling autour options, even when there is no video game in the background.  Video streaming on the Internet and DVD seems to play fine on Windows Media Center, and I can even stream HD video without problem.  I also know that this isn't a problem receiving the TV tuner since I test with the video recorded previously.  I bought my computer in June 2009 with Windows Vista and upgrade to Windows 7 a few months later.  Everything worked perfectly well until recently.

I tried to update my video card drivers, reallocation of Windows Media Center to a task of "high priority" to improve performance, the RAM Cache to improve the performance, my graphics card setting to low quality setting to have superior performance to compensation.  I even tried to reinstall Windows Media Center, reinstall Windows Media Player and the restoration of my entire computer to a State a few months in the past where the problem was not intervened.  The memory usage seems OK too (I have 6 GB).  Basically, I don't think that the issue is performance related.  I'm guessing that there is some little conflict, pilot program, codec, etc., which is originally the video playback to go bad after a few minutes.  Any thoughts?

For what it's worth, I was faced with the problem of stuttering for always (continuously from a WHS for a HP Media Center Extender) and had tried all of the recommended patches (updates driver, network card settings tweaking, etc..)  Nothing helps.  Last week my router died (Netgear WNDR3700, who was the State of the art when I bought it a year ago).  I replaced it with an old but unboxed Linksys WRT320N and stuttering all my problems disappeared.

  • Sound does not, slow/choppy video playback. Reboot to fix.

I have a problem with my PC.  Don't know if a hardware error or system.  It is common during video playback.  Usually, he plays very well, but sometimes brutally, everything is in slow-mo with no sound. The only way to solve this is to restart the PC.  On most pages, it makes also has flash declined. Tried to stop all services and unnecessary processes, virus checks, updated windows and the latest video card drivers, card sound, etc.  Not sure how this can be fixed.  Extremely boring all playing a game and my sound dies.

    Hello
OK, this is the driver related or heat related.
    1. set to update your video and sound drivers restart and try again.

Look for the old drivers Device Manager and update

Drivers can become outdated and could be damaged to the point where they slow the system performance. Looking for the old drivers Device Manager, follow these steps:

Click Start, click Run, type the sysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK.

Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.

Right click on the device, and then click Properties.

    Click the driver tab.

Compare the version of the driver on the tab, with driver version information on the latest version of the driver that is published on the website of the manufacturer.

To resolve problems that are caused by corrupted or outdated drivers, install the latest drivers:

Click Start, click Run, type the sysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK.

Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.

Right click on the device, and then click Properties.

Click on the driver tab, then click on set to update driver.

Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the update of the driver.

    2. check the power of your computer, especially near the card... check video to make sure that this video card is not loose (if it is not a card on board)

  • I have a problem with the choppy video playback.

I recently bought a surface of windows. When I play the movies from my hard drive, playback is choppy, although there is no problem with the sound. Is this a setting problem or software? The files are AvI, which should be compatible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi, Bertie,.

    1. what video player do you use? Have you tried another?

    2. do you have all the updates of Windows and Windows Store on the device?

This problem can be caused if the video driver is outdated.

You can check the link and follow the steps in the Microsoft KB article and check if it solves the problem.

  • Inroom Pro A300 - 2 3 PSAG9E - choppy video playback, CPU at 100% of fortification

    Hello

I have problems with my Toshiba laptop for a week about playback of AVI files. This happens both WMP and VLC, so I'm sure it is impossible either of those.

I checked my laptop computer for viruses, spyware and malware and found nothing. I've been to Microsoft XP support forums and asked for help with the XP operating system, they advised a few tweaks, but this fortification of 100% during playback of AVI files has not changed.

Then I came here, updated various things like BIOS and the problem persists. I don't know what I can do apart from disabling the services to see what is happening.

I'd rather not do something as no scientist, so I was wondering if someone could give advice on how to improve it, or ideally, remedy, this very difficult problem which seems unrelated to automatic updates of Windows (wuauclt), .NET Framework (not installed), DivX (not installed), XviD (not installed), Flash Player (not installed) and also VLC/WMP.

Any help and advice would be appreciated very much. Thank you in advance for your suggestions of what services I would be OK to disable on the model of the A300 - 2 3 PSAG9E.

    Hello

Have you noticed that ONLY play avi videos?
Is this happen is playing a DVD movie of the video of the internet platform of streaming like youtube, etc.?

I think that it of difficult to say what cause this usually you should check the background processes in msconfig while playing the avi file.

Then you should see what process requires the performance of the 100% CPU.
After that you could disable this process and could start the movie

  • Windows 7 64 bit, new facility - choppy video playback

I have a quad core Intel I7 HP laptop with 8 GB of RAM, 160 GB of free disk space. ATI Radeon 5600HD graphics card, the latest video drivers ATI, all updates for HP laptop, including the BIOS. The machine should be able to play videos and do a Skype video chat. But in both cases, the video is choppy and not really usable.

I've been to all updates installed, SP1 for Windows 7, the software I use, etc, etc, etc, so I can't go back to previous restore points, at least that would make a difference.

I just watched a WMV video that I downloaded (not heard), Channel 9, and it was awful to watch. The video stops but the sound would continue, finally all caught up. But then it would start all over again.

Video of Skype is similar, the video stops but the sound continues.

Given that I have the latest video drivers from ATI, and everything else comes from a new facility from 2 days ago. I'd appreciate any help to solve this problem.

    Thank you

All companies (Dell, HP, Acer, Toshiba etc.) put things on their systems.

Most of them pre-install programs such as Mcafee or Symantec / Norton. Both are hopeless and cause probs

And most likely have some sort of trial version. What is the point of having this. It runs

This is one of the reasons why I build my own desktop computers. I can put what I want on this subject, NOT what they think I need.

No wonder so many of them have probs. It's the stuff they install on it.

  • Why is my video playback so choppy and grainy

original title: WHY IS MY VIDEO PLAYBACK so CHOPPY AND GRAINY?

I have all the latest drivers installed, IV ' e run each melody of the regime as possible, free of any virus or spyware, and I have a broadband cable connection! It is therefore frustrating IV ' e tried adjusting the video acceleration, screen refresh rate, same added more memory and the problem still persists. Both flash and silverlight videos play well, though a bit grainy and choppy during the action scenes but still another reading of the videos more like a slide show than a real video. Please help it is such a pain!

You or anyone needing help: Please type msinfo32 in the start menu, and then press ENTER. File | Save on the open screen. File saved on disk sky then paste a link here and I'll show you how to fix things to the top.

In the meantime, delete your LSO of the machine who follow you in all browsers and destroy the power of lightning:

    AdobeClearFlash

@OP - a problem I already see with what you have said is "tune up." A proper functioning of that Windows does not have a tune up and these applications only destroy the excellent work that Microsoft has done by making their operating systems. You'll be better off uninstalling applications like that.

Next best step: uninstall any antivirus in safe mode with 3rd party manufacturer tool. Reboot and install MSE to replace.

  • No video playback after the first update of Pro CC 2015

Updated for Premiere Pro CC 2015 on a MacPro OS x 10.9.5 and now I don't get any video playback either in the top left or top right.  I get audio fine, but no video.  Just grey.

Other threads here related choppy playback and some said that they uninstalled 2015 and returned to 2014, but I can't find a way to do it.  In the CC application all I can do is install the 2015 version.

Someone has suggestions for each fixing whatever the problem is I cannot see the video in my video editing software or go back to the previous version which worked great until they decided to update?

    Hi Thomas,

    Try this first:

Click file > Project Settings > General and change the video converter to the to the software only Mercury playback engine. Click OK, and then select Remove previews. Then check if you have a normal reading.

  • Video playback in Internet Explorer

    Hello world

I'm new to Flash and experimenting with a Flash Media Streaming Server. I'm trying to get streaming video to work with my new website and video big plays without any problems so far in web browsers like Firefox/Safari, etc..

However, in IE, the reading is much worse. I can't understand why! Initially, I thought it was a problem with the server streaming, however, it does not explain why other browsers treat the flow better. In addition, a pause the video playback and no suspension makes no difference, exclude a buffering problem.

Each I.e. the browser I try the video slot, the video is choppy and are not smooth. I also point out that if I try to play the video directly through http://flash-server.hermonsd.org/test/ (Page of Test Server Streaming), it works perfectly in Internet Explorer.

So I conclude that the problem is with the used compiled Flash file directly on the link below. I'm using nothing more than the provided FLVPlayback module that comes with the latest version of the Flash CS3 software. Does anyone know what I may have done wrong and what I can do to improve the quality of reading learn?

    Video example is here: http://www.rihanna-online.net/videos/dontstop/DontStop.html

P.S. To avoid a position of possible flame on copyright, the site did not open yet and provisional use of construction is OK while the label is to look at the site to get back to me.

With weeks of research, I found the cause of the problem. It is not related to the media streaming server.

It seems that there is a known issue with the WMODE feature in Internet Explorer and Flash. When I removed the code WMODE in the HTML pages calling the flash videos played flawless.
