Chrome crashing, plugin (json) using high memory, recently updated Chrome

Google has recently updated Chrome. I have only a small notebook from Samsung. Recent issues, excessive memory and CPU of the levels of treatment, plugin (.json) crash causing Norton to crash. Can I uninstall version of Chrome if it is the problem? In addition, the cursor jumps around.

Hi Dale,

· Fact jumping cursor only happens when you use Google Chrome?

· No Norton crashes when you use Google Chrome?

· Are you facing any problem with Internet explore?

You can uninstall Google Chrome and use default Internet Explore instead. However, given that the question is mainly about Google Chrome, I suggest you to contact Google Chrome support for assistance.

Once in a while (maybe once a week on average), Firefox crashes suddenly, and check the 'top' shows that the plugin-container uses 90% and more of CPU and RAM (I have 12 GB of RAM). So I kill firefox and when I restart, it works normally again.

  • Use of the high memory on Windows 7 without reason...

Hello, I had recently a few problems with my computer after going on vacation for a week and turn it off. When I got home my computer has had some problems of high memory use, I have no idea why. I looked in my processes tab and it shows that Svchost.exe as the highest [150K] usage, but is not a lot to slow down computers. Nothing else under it attracts a lot of use, I tried to disable my anti-virus [Norton] and it still didn't work. All my drivers are up to date.

    Hi Daniel,

    Please follow the methods:

    Method 1:

You need perform a clean boot to prevent any third party conflicting application from interfering with your computer.

To put the computer in a clean boot State, you must follow the steps in the article mentioned below and check with the question.

Note: You must follow step 7 of the article mentioned above to recover your computer to a Normal startup after you complete all the steps.

    Method 2:

Scan your computer by using the Microsoft Security Scanner by clicking Download now to check if there is no virus:

    http://www.microsoftsafetyscanner.com/

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Method 3:

Optimize windows 7 for better performance:

The problem seems to be that the History graph to use physical memory in Task Manager shows continually near maxed out - usually 90% or more.

I defragmented and run several scans of antimalware (analyzers Microsoft, Spybot, Malwarebytes, Superantispyware, etc.) and everything is displayed 100% clean.

I've disabled Aero, transparency, the sidebar and disabled the services as Windows Search, Superfetch, Readyboost, and with little effect.

I have run MSConfig and booted the system with everything off, and while the memory usage is a little lower, it is still very high.

It's the analysis of PCPitstop which was done WITHOUT running programs other than Internet Explorer 7: "this system had a total memory load of 82% during the tests. This often indicates that more programs were running that could be managed by the RAM installed. »

Vista is a memory hog. As you noted, you don't have enough RAM and he's never going to run smoothly with only 1 GB. Increase of at least 2 GB. You can also run the free process monitor utility to see what is eating your processor cycles.

  • Windows 7 seems to have unexplained memory use high after a scan of viruses of several hard drives.

    My computer:

    • 6 GB of installed memory, normal use is about 1.5 GB
    • 3 hard disks of the computer (OS [Raid 0]. 2 data readers)
    • Windows 7 64 bit

    Problem:

    • After analysis the entire computer, the use of memory up to 3.5 GB of jumps and stay until the computer is restarted.
    • Research in the Task Manager and resource monitor shows the memory used, but running programs don't add to what be close to 3.5 GB
    • I tested it with AVG and Avira antivirus, and it happens with both. Then he would lead me to believe it's a matter of Windows.

    Troubleshooting:

    • Tried it with several antivirus, same problem with ones I've tried.
    • Scanned just the OS partition without significant increase in memory usage.
    • Scanned two data discs. Memory usage has jumped about 1 GB during the analysis of the first hard drive and another 1 GB when on the second disc. Use of memory are remained high, once the completed scan. Subsequent analyses retains high memory usage.

    Question:

    • What is causing this behavior? Indexing, or is it some sort of memory leak?

The answer can be found here.

It seems that my friend helped clean up my laptop I will still have a lot of problems. First my laptop becomes the high memory use. What? The system apparently when I look at the Task Manager. Here's what it looks like:

I don't know how to solve this problem. Keep looking it towards the top online and I haven't found anything that helps. I'm not a tech somehow so when you say something like "have you checked your drivers? I should also mention that my friend had to do a system restore to clean all the problems I had before. Who has worked for the most part. Since my laptop was running slower and he's still but a little better.

  • vRanger connection 7.1.1 and vCenter 5.5 - open filters causing high memory use vpxd?

    Hello

Displays the first time, hoping you can help me. We are big consumers of vRanger connection in our environment, we use multiple instances to save the production, test, dev, VDI, etc. (6 cases total). Recently, we met our vRanger 7.1.1 connection servers and our vCenter to 5.5 Update 2 b. Since then, every evening when our nightly backups occur to our use of memory for vpxd on our vCenter server (process vpxd.exe) increases, and it remains standing and rising again every night until the that vCenter grave service failed due to memory exhaustion. After 2 weeks of troubleshooting with VMware, their senior engineers think that connection vRanger not close correctly filters, leaving a large number of them that causes the memory out is not in the system.

  • Why Windows Media Player Encoder auxiliary continue to use more memory, almost crashing my computer, and how to fix it?

Whenever I use the Windows Media Player on my computer, the Windows Media Player Encoder auxiliary uses memory more and more every second I have Windows Media Player, no matter what I use Media Player to open.
in any case, she continues to use more memory the computer almost to the point of freezing, trolling, and I do not know how to fix it.
The reason why I know this has to do with the memory usage is that when I open the Task Manager, it usually gets above the point of using 300 000 k memory usage before I can put an end to the task.

  • CC of Photoshop-> performance down, use of memory to the top.

I've recently switched to Photoshop CC.

I noticed the performance was slow, memory usage has been huge. At first I thought it would be because I'm a little bit bigger than the previous panoramas processing (e.g. merger of 25 images at 21 Mpx each).

Then my SSD drive crashed when the sysem ran out of memory, and I can't get it back.

I reinstalled Mac OSX 10.7.5 on the original HD and re-installed PS now, my bandwidth jumped below 1 GB downloaded per day, at 20 GB, 30 GB, 44 GB downloaded.

I don't know how this can be traced to CC PS, other than to slow performance and high memory usage, but it ' a coincidence is suspected.

    Tom Legrady

That would be because the memory usage is the same as previous versions, and we know not all major leaks memory in Photoshop CC (we do a lot of testing to find and eliminate memory leaks in Photoshop).

And because we have seen third-party drivers and third party plugins with memory leaks.

If Photoshop is consuming that amount of RAM without opening documents - so you have about 6 GB of presets being loaded at the launch (which is predefined settings that you have added, because by default Photoshop doesn't load that many presets and consumes less than 300 Meg to the launch).

If you mean Photoshop costume that much after the closing documents - then this is how you allocated to Photoshop and used in your documents. Photoshop does not free memory in the system until the output is perfectly normal behavior (otherwise it would be much more slowly).

We can try to help you determine which consumes memory on your system.

But by emphasizing the fact that Photoshop is the cause, when it is easily verified as not the cause, will not help you.
