Cisco configuration professional

Hi I downloaded configuration cisco professional, but did not find any installer in the zip file I downloaded from cisco. Zip files included only html files.

I have read the information on the professional page of cisco configuration file I downloaded should be an installer for example: MSI or *.exe in my mind. Where is he?

Thank you

Kind regards

Totardo

Most likely, you have downloaded the 'express' package that is intended for installation on the device itself. the office installation package is known as 'pro' and the current version is 2.8.

Looking for the file name "cisco-config-pro-k9-pkg-2_8-en.zip".

It can be found here:

    Steve,

You can follow the procedure in the CCP Admin Guide (here) for the withdrawal of CCP.

TL; DR.? Well (2 c seems to be specific to an AP installation):

To uninstall the Cisco CP Express Admin View of the router flash memory, perform the following steps:

Step 1 On the router, go to the directory in which Cisco CP Express Admin View files using this command:

    router# cd flash:

Step 2 Use the delete command to remove all Cisco CP Express Admin display the files and folders of the router flash memory.

Note Ensure that you delete the files extracted from the ccpexpress27Admin.tar file and the ccpExpress_ap_express - security.shtml.gz.

    a. remove the home.shtml file:

    router# delete /force /recursive home.shtml

    b. delete the ccpexp folder:

    router# delete /force /recursive flash:ccpexp

    c. remove the file ccpExpress_ap_express - security.shtml.gz in the folder ap802-xxxxx-xx.xxx-xxx.xxx/html/level/15/ of the AGP flash memory:

    ap# delete flash:/ap802-ccw7-mx.124-25d.JAX/html/level/15/ccpExpress_ap_express-security.shtml.gz

  • Cisco Configuration Professional install and usage?

HI can someone help. I am studying for CCNA Security and want to install the CCP. I tried to download from cisco.com, file extensions are not supported, so I'm lost as to how to install it and play with the software. Based on Windows. Thank you

Make sure you download "cisco-config-pro-k9-pkg-2_6-en.zip". It is a zip file with the included Installer if just unzip and run the executable file.

Files with "exp" in the file names are the Express version for installation on routers and not intended for installation of PC.

I get a router Cisco 2901 put in place and tries to load balancing/link aggregation and/or failover for my double WAN connections. Being new Cisco's IOS software, I'd rather do my setup using the specialist graphic Configuration interface.  If I understand correctly, the option of routing Performance will help me set up but I don't have this option, available in professional Configuration; any ideas? • Query VLANS with Cisco configuration example

    List of expensive,

I was wondering if there is an error on the Cisco documentation below.

The schema and configuration shows the LWAPs attached to the switch on vlan 5, but the trunk to the WLC is pruning vlan 5.

If this is true, how the LWAPP LWAPs with the WLC to talk?

The proposed config is a few lines of the diagram below.

    Thanks for any comments.

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/ps6366/products_configuration_example09186a0080665cdf.shtml#DIA

    Chris.

Management of the AP is on vlan 5, so there's no reason to be vlan 5 allowed on the trunk for the wlc.  Only the interfaces configured on the WLC should be allowed.

Management, AP-Manager and all dynamic interfaces... service-port can be included, but should not be routable.

Hope that explains it... If not let me know :)

  • 515E Cisco configuration problem

I made a simple configuration for a Cisco 515E on Oct, this year. A small office use it for surfing the net.

Now, they want to set up a web site for themselves. So, I did a static nat for their Web server:

    public static x.x.29.198 (Interior, exterior) 192.168.1.1 mask subnet 255.255.255.255 0 0

But then, I found a problem. Although I can ping any Web site successfully for the internal Lan, but I don't ping IP global to the web server (x.x.29.198), and I can't ping external IP address of the firewall (x.x.29.194) too.

On the other hand, I ping the x.x.29.198 (or 194) from the Internet and I can ping the 192.168.1.1 of the internal Lan.The web service also seems very good.

There can someone tell me how to solve this problem? Thank you.

    Hello

This isn't a problem and everything works fine. Since the internal local area network, you won't be able to ping the global address of the web server or the PIX outside interface. The ASA PIX won't will not allow this.

    Hope that helps.

  • Directory of video Jabber Cisco Configuration problem

    Hello!

    We have a facility with

VCS 7.2, TMS 13.2.2. and a lot of video of jabber users. TMSPE uses for commissioning and etc., TMS and VCS are configured to import users from the AD:

VCS in AD domain, AD srvices is configured, default Zone is configured as check credentials, sub-area by default is configured as authenticated. MOVI users are configured and imported into TMS of AD - I can see them in the management of the telephone directory, Movi version 4.5, in configuration model [email protected] / * /(asb.by = local to the sip domain) is configured. With movi users group has access and permission to search for the phonebbok. The problem is that when a movi user trying to search another user - failure of the attempt to find: he gets nothing. However it is the contact searcing is connected with movi and appeared in the devices put into service. For example the EX60 ep is configured with directory - it has a full ist of users (contacts) imported from AD and created locallly.

    Hello

Can you check the TMSPE diagnoses in TMS and see if the phone book button are red.

Also check the source directory activity in TMS and see if you see errors.

Make sure that you perform a full synchronization with the TMS of VCS (Configuration tab, click on "Synchronize complete now")

Also on the VCS you can actually check if the entries in the directory exists in the VCS and the users have access to them.

    Status--> Application--> TMSPE--> directories

Let me know if you see errors about directories in MSDS.

  • I'm losing configuration when I turned off my Cisco 857 router

I bought the new router Cisco 857 of the shop. Router must have been used before as I couln can't go inside with name of user and password default cisco/cisco.

Well I followed digital and reset the password for the user name and password. Now I have finally connected to Cisco CP express on my IE browser.

I discovered that someone was using a router in the shop that's why I countries: ' t log in to him in the first place. In any case the problem is that when I changed my configuration and applies the settings he remembers until I turned off. When I turn on again he remembers all the parameters of this shop.

He returned everything back: IP address, former account to level 15 and password - just like after the password reset.

I tried again and he again lost the settings. So I found instructions:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/HW/routers/ps233/products_tech_note09186a00800a65a5.shtml

I followed it and changed once again all the settings of the router. My settings are still lost after the power on/off. I noticed that when I do everything first bit it shows

0x2102 not 0x2142 like they think that is password reset mode.

Here is my output from Hyper Terminal:

Please help me as I am stuck and can't go any further....

    Hi Dragan,

After you run the wizard Cisco CP Express, it should save the configuration set to update the flash on the router.  However, in your case, it seems this is not the case.  Therefore:

    1. Configure the device via Cisco CP Express--> do NOT turn off after that
    2. Connect to the router with Hyperterminal.  Enter the configuration mode by typing:
      Enable
When you are prompted for a password to put in.  The line should now be router #.

      now type:

      write memory

      You see errors?  Otherwise, type:
      See the startup-config

Check the output matches the configuration you've tried.  If Yes, then you are good to go.  If this is not the case, let us know all the errors you received.

Cisco Configuration Professional (Cisco CP) is installed on this device and it provides the default username "cisco" for one-time use. If you have already used the username "cisco" to login to the router and your IOS image supports the "one-time" user option, then this username has already expired. You will not be able to login to the router with this username after you exit this session.

It is strongly suggested that you create a new username with a privilege level of 15 using the following command.

    username <myuser> privilege 15 secret 0 <mypassword>

Replace <myuser> and <mypassword> with the username and password you want to use.

This feature requires the one-time use of the username "cisco" with the password "cisco". These default credentials have a privilege level of 15.

YOU MUST USE CISCO CP or the CISCO IOS CLI TO CHANGE THESE PUBLICLY-KNOWN CREDENTIALS

Here are the Cisco IOS commands.

    username <myuser> privilege 15 secret 0 <mypassword>no username cisco

Replace <myuser> and <mypassword> with the username and password you want to use.

IF YOU DO NOT CHANGE THE PUBLICLY-KNOWN CREDENTIALS, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LOG INTO THE DEVICE AGAIN AFTER YOU HAVE LOGGED OFF.

For more information about Cisco CP please follow the instructions in the QUICK START GUIDE for your router or go to http://www.cisco.com/go/ciscocp -----------------------------------------------------------------------^C ! line con 0 no modem enableline aux 0line vty 0 4 access-class 23 in privilege level 15 transport input telnet ssh! scheduler allocate 60000 1000! end

I am connected via the port console of the router and can ping the outside world only from port GigaEthernet1 whose IP address129.x.x.5

Clients that connect on VLan1 get IP addresses in the range of 192.168.1.0/24 and these clients can ping each other, the gateway that is 192.168.1.1 and the GigaEthernet1 that has the intellectual property129.x.x.5

What's not in this case?  Any suggestion is appreciated the most.

Thanks for your post. I had a look at your configuration, and it is great that you are a few short steps on your NAT is why it does not work. Please follow the steps below in order to get this work properly.
    1. first of all, let us remove the old configuration NAT then back to a clean slate with the following commands.
no ip nat inside source list nat-list interface GigabitEthernet1 overloadclear ip nat translation *
    2. now, we will create a list of access control allows for NAT traffic and create the new NAT statement for that tie together. * NOTE: If the version of IOS, you are running requires mask rather than generic then change 0.0.0.255 to 255.255.255.0.

access-list 100 permit ip 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.255 anyip nat inside source list 100 interface GigabitEthernet1 overload
    3. the next step is to specify the logical role of the interfaces in question, whether they are 'inside' or ' outside'.

interface vlan1 ip nat inside exitinterface GigabitEthernet1 ip nat outside exit
    4. Finally, save us the configuration and reload.

    copy run startreload
After the unit is returned as a result of charging, please try again. In some cases - depending on the version of the IOS, you have to ping the outside world from a computer on the local network rather than just sourcing of the interface VLAN. Try this back and forth, and let me know how get you there. I can't wait to hear back.

    Kind regards

  • Cannot add a Cisco CP 2.1 wireless

    Hello

I am very new with Cisco devices. I have a Cisco 851 router wireless and I configured manually (a simple local network with a Wan interface for internet).

Now, I'm trying to add a Wpa wireless network to complete the configuration of my wanted.

I use the new Cisco Configuration professional 2.1 (the thick interface on my laptop and the Express one on the router).

I watched 2 screens casts ( http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/cisco_configuration_professional/scrcst/ccpsc.html -> "Configuring the Wireless feature on routers with Dot11 Radio Interface" & "Set up a wireless network with WPA personal security enabled").

Basically, these casts screens show how to access the basic graphical interface to simply add a wireless network (see the screenshot in attachment).

Then I got the following error message: "no more than - 1 SSID can be configured for the Dot11Radio0 interface."

It's strange to me because my setup is quiet basic and I haven't even touched the Dot11Radio0 interface.

The other link (at the bottom of the screenshot) wireless application is too complex for me and I want to add my network wireless through the Cisco CP 2.1 Basic interface and see the CLI commands.

Here is some information on my router (if more information is needed, please let me know)

    Hi Gregory,

I discovered that Cisco Configuration Professional-> add wireless network is not supported on the particular IOS image that you use. You need the IOS version to 124 - 15.T or higher. Could you pls try after upgrading the IOS pls image?

    Thank you

  • Cisco Call Manager

Hi, I want to know whether or not our current phone system uses the CCM? Unfortunately, I know that even with our systems and next thing I know, it's that use us Cisco Configuration Professional utility to configure the phone display names and update the date & time.

Could someone provide me with the steps to check if we use CCM/CUCM? Sorry to be a beginner.

Call Manager Express, another acronym which is CUCME - Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express.

CME/CUCME is function of the router, you can access it via telnet/ssh.

CUCM can be access through GUI and SSH.

    Kind regards

    Sitnikov - Ignat

According to the data sheet of the product, the default license is Advanced IP services. This seems to be what you have. The Office IPS and SSL VPN is an update of license.

You should be able to build an IPSec tunnel with another router by following the steps in the CLI in the Setup Guide. You can also do this via the user interface using Cisco Configuration Professional (CCP). Several times first users are struggling a bit by using only the CLI - I would suggest using the you GUI and then analyze the resulting configure script to understand the various components of a VPN configuration
