  My Forte.fm application (the only Rdio cirrently client available for BB10), broke from the OS 10.1. I put off fixing it because I had passed to Android, but I want to make it work again. It's a WebWorks app, and the versions currently in App World are signed with the old style keys. I tried a number of different methods of conversion/link my old signature with my BBID keys, but nothing that I've done the work. The closest I came to a successful outing is an App World error, saying: the keys are incompatible with previous versions.

  At this point, I just want to sign it with my new keys, but I can't download on App World from my existing application bears the same name. Because the app is broken for 2 years, I don't think it would be much of a loss to wipe out the 50 + 1 star reviews that said: it's broken.

  I built this app as sort of a 'labor of love' because I can't charge due to conditions of use Rdio. Really, I'd like to see people who can use it and get some good reviews for an application that works fine in a browser and on Android.

• What happens to the files in File.applicationStorageDirectory after the new version of the app?

  I was wondering what is going on for files that have been stored in File.applicationStorageDirectory after an update the app (= new version)?

  I assumed / hoped that the files were still there... However, after the update my application to a new version, it apparently does NOT access the same files (it seems to me that the file was missing, so a new was created).

  (background: all my application user data is stored in an XML file in the directory above (so to speak my database) - it is therefore crucial that a new version will access the same files (for example, after an update of an Android application))

  Our computers are on a network.  Another computer has a project I need to work.  Same account CC.  The other computer registered (8.0.1) and I have (7.2.2) tried to open it... Nothing helps.  I opened directly from the opening screen and tried to import it into an existing project.  Got the error twice.  Did it save to my local disk and still couldn't open it (same error).

  No current message conversion.

  As side note... If I run updates on both machines, why are we not on the same version?

  I use first for maybe 12 years old, and to my knowledge, project files have never been backward compatible with older versions.

  There is no built-in feature to do this.  What I understand iOS & Android SDK do not have this feature either, it's something that you, the developer must create.

  Start your computer Safe Mode and check if you can successfully start.

  Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed.

  I felt that I knew that the download files were updated.

  Instinct made me disconnect the machine from the router.

  I continued and disabled all the protections I had put in place-

  What version of Mac OS do you have? I guess it's 10.6.8 which is not supported by the App Builder. You need to update to a newer version of Mac OS.
