  I have a web service call (the service is hosted on the cloud is an external area of permamnent) which works fine when I test locally using the Flex Buritto built in emulator or directly by using my browser.

  But when trying a android phone (tried a few of them - link one, nexus s and galaxy tab) the service is called but never returns anything.

  Is there a good way to trace of call / understand the problem?

  It will work only after that the process is 'complete'.. then you need to check the status... .and when that is complete, then you can check the results.

  I want to route the ODSI web service calls to different hosts in different environments. In other words, in my development environment, I don't want to call a quick service to "myosb - dev.mycompany.com:7001", but in production, I don't want to call the same service to the "myosb - prod.mycompany.com:8021".
  
  I see that I can configure a different port for the Physics Department in the ODSI administration console. However, it is not very practical, since the original WSDL must contain information port for all environments from the get-go. If the service is reinstalled in the production, I need to update the wsdl file and redeploy my data space for moving. This can be a problem due to the cycle of deployment of my app be out of sync with the service that I give the floor.
  
  My question is: is it possible to configure the addresses to host more dynamically? Is it possible to use a variable to control this information a set of services that are located on the same server?

  Like smercurio_fc said, we use the system Exec VI running exe, or any other type of programs & we don't need a DLL. Shared variable is the person who can communicate between two different exe.

  I ordered a Ultrabook earlier today. A few hours later, I received a call from a (clearly outsourced) call centre, claiming to be Dell. When I confirmed my name, he asked if I had done any Dell purchases recently. Yes. Then he asked me to confirm my address, I did, without giving to the city or zip. When I asked him what was the call, he said that each order is personally checked before shipping. I have never experienced this.

  He then asked if I was a student and he wanted my .edu email. I asked why it was necessary, and if it was some kind of discount for students. He said: "No, the .edu email is necessary to check the charge of the customer." Wait a second. How to help an e-mail student to check a charge, especially as it was not the email I used when ordering? How a same email vaguely related to the validity of a charge?

  He even said, "If you will just please check the .edu email, I won't have to ask more questions." What? A the student email is the end of the line for verification?

  I should also mention that the laptop was ordered for my boyfriend. Since he is out of town, he instructed me on what to do by phone, using his name and credit card, with my email, because I manage all of our finance and cash receipts. I TOTALLY understand why this seems bit precision and may need verification. I explained the situation and offered the telephone number of my boyfriend, because he would be able to confirm its own information and that I wasn't using it to order something for me.

I explained to him that that the enamel is in no way connected to the card and is not necessary to check anything, but I couldn't see the harm (if it would end the call), so that I set out for him. He got frustrated because he repeatedly recalled it me evil and says in a fit of anger, "I'll take number of your boyfriend now."

  I hope that I was not rude to a true Dell employee and I don't give any vital information, but seriously, this guy was horrible. He did very bad justifying why he needed no information, and none of it seemed logical to me in the circumstances. Dell training is extremely poor, or there is a person who uses the name of Dell for dubious purposes. Given the General gloom with verification service Dell found all over the internet and the number of questionable calls and emails Dell, clients received on checking, I would say it could be either. Whatever he is, he certainly doesn't make me not wanting to always order from Dell again.

  Is anyone from Dell can confirm if it is a standard procedure or not? My impression is that you stopped outsourcing because of the poor quality of the customer service.

  It's normal to get that call. Dell reference verifies that you have actually ordered this item and the credit card has not been stolen.
