Clean install of Windows XP Professional on a WD 500 GB SATA2 HDD
Respected members, I've never ever had this problem. Today I bought a HDD WD 500 GB SATA2 16 MB buffer.
I tried to do a clean installation of windows xp professional on this topic (quick format) but each time the installation is complete to copy of files and restarts the computer, when it tries to boot from a hard drive it gives me an error any hardware problem.
"Windows did not start because of a configuration of the disk of the computer problem.
Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check the hardware path and startup disk.

Is this the only drive in the system? If so, run the disk Western Digital diagnostic utility. No matter that the reader is right out of the box. In fact, if the material is going to fail, it will normally be done fairly quickly - sometimes right out of the box - or go for years.
If the drive passes the test, try "slipstreaming" of your installation of XP with Service Pack 3 media.

If the drive is not the only le seul in the system, disconnect the other and try the installation again. The missing hal.dll indicates a damaged or missing boot.ini file and possibly other startup files. If you have an old IDE drive in the boot.ini system file is probably on that instead of on the new drive where it belongs.

(1) purchased a computer with windows vista (32-bit) on it earlier
- Did not get a recovery disk.

(3) my computer is slow because this year, I had downloaded a lot of software. Instead of uninstalling stuff, I recorded all important files on a disc and completely erased from my hard drive to a new beginning. I took measures
- Created a system repair disc.
- Downloaded the software used to wipe my hard drive - Boot and Nuke.
- Engraved Boot and Nuke on a disc.
- Ran the disc by restarting.

That's right; with Vista Home Premiun upgrade paths are for Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate.
It is one of the reasons why you should do a clean install.
The other reason is that you can NOT put 32-bit to 64-bit.
You need a clean install to do.

FIRST: Uninstall IE8 and IE7 if they are installed. Back to all the way back to IE6. You want other patches before you get those. Reboot after doing this.

Can not access the updates after clean install of Windows 7 Pro
I have formatted my hard drive digital, preformed a clean install of Windows 7 Pro. Everything went well and OS seems to be properly authenticated.
The question is not able to 'find' updates. At startup, the message: NEW UPDATES AVAILABLE. When I check the updates, the process runs "forever" and never completes the process. I messed up! Need to install correct windows 7 Professional!

If my computer started acting, being a bit computer I decided to do a new install of Windows 7 Professional. I followed a tutorial that I found over at PC world who directed me to download Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 (thinking that it was the one I was running before - X 17-59186 file). I followed the instructions, everything went beautifully!... Well well somewhat... I got to where I had to enter my product key, but where it went horribly wrong.
Thinking I would save me some headaches, before we begin, I have copied down the product ID of system properties, I also used Magic Jelly Beans to extract my key CD and the product key before begin this process (the label of the product is quite worn on the bottom of my laptop, it has been around ", so I thought it was a bit of additional insurance and would allow me to save some problems due to not being able to read a few letters on the sticker).
So I'm going to enter the cd key and it says its invalid, I get the product key and the cd key that all tell me that they're wrong. So I jump ahead just to see if I could maybe enter it again in the system properties windows activation area. No dice. Then I re - check the magic jelly beans to connect only to realize that the file I installed was X 17-59186 and one on computer laptop X 15-39122. OK, so now that I think I can just google to find this copy of the installation ISO and create a usb one and viola installation, can I use my existing information and I'm good to go. No dice again, because nobody seems to have a digital copy of this one.
So now that I'm desperately looking for the installation disc, my computer has been cleaned with the new installation, and I have nowhere to really go but maybe buy a new copy of windows 7 (something I really don't want to do - when I already have a copy). What should I do?
Try to contact the manufacture of your PC and ask a set of "Recovery Media" which does not require the product key on the label (which I suppose is unreadable) to install and activate.

I use a retail version upgrade of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on a desktop PC, I've implemented myself 4 years ago. I have upgraded to Windows XP then.
I think I would buy a new card mother and CPU in another year and I hope that my current installation of Windows 7 on my hard drive (fairly recent) current will be able to start with the new MB and CPU - and just to require new drivers for chipset. Problem: try a clean install of Windows 10 via the Boot Camp Assistant on an iMac 27 inches (Late2013) with 10.11.4 installs hours (more than 8 hours) and then failed to install Boot Camp updates. Essentially installation take much long than normal and cannot install updates of the Apple software or create normally start Windows Boot Camp 10.
Background: After problems of slowing down after upgrading to 10.11.4 (with improved Bootcamp Windows 10) who had previously worked fine for 10 months, to the point of a start of OS X time, I decided to do a clean install of my iMac with Fusion 3 to disk.
As I was unable to remove the partition from Boot Camp through BCA because of his holding always at the same load, I used Internet recovery and reset the Fusion drive. This then required me to repair the partition of Fusion by car through THE "fix" option which seems to work very well. And reinstalled OS X 10.11.4 which works fine now (delays etc..)
Try using BCA to create a new partition Boot Camp and a clean Windows 10 install after downloading an image of disk W10 directly from Microsoft (Win10_1511_1_English_x64), BCA by downloading software updates and by selecting the desired partition, it began to restart and initialize the installation. However the whole process has been very slow, each step takes much longer than usual, to progress. Leave for hours rest a blank screen or with a circle of rotation.
I tried with another stick USB 3 and also a USB 2 stick, but none has made a difference.
In the last attempt, I left running overnight and after 8-9 hours, he finally reaches the top of desktop Windows 10 and the update of Apple Bootcamp starts to load updates. However, he just hung and even after 2 hours, nothing was. Reboot and try once again has been the same.
After that I tried to create a Windows Installer via BCA 8.0 however it gives just a TPG error when you try to select the drive (due to el Capitan I guess?)
After four days of efforts, I'm a loser on how to get the Windows 10 on the Boot Camp partition. I can't even install W8 and upgrade due to the error of TPG.
Any help or suggestions how to proceed with the diagnostic / resolution of the problem would be appreciated.

System: iMac (27 inch, end of 2013), 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 M 4096 MB, OS X 10.11.4
- Nothing other than the keyboard and mouse attached via the USB ports, as well as the key USB of BCA. No other attached devices.
- Reset memory NVRAM, SMC and ran more than once disk utility. No problem not reported. Ran NVRAM reset before each attempt.

Details:
Day 5. Attempt at 6.
Partition Boot Camp delete and try again install via BCA. First question, is that when the startup it goes to a blank black screen. For a time nothing left. Reset then using alt to select windows training results in almost instantaneous startup of the BCA message created and the beginning of the installation.
4 1/2 hours from start of Windows 10 initial signature window.
Then the second question. One to reach the Boot Camp update Office tries to start and install the drivers. Allows you to "list files...". "stage then sits at the bar about 5% green for 1 to 2 hours and does nothing. All actions in the Office of the W10 takes ages.
In the meantime, auto update of the W10 appears a message saying that the updated graphics drivers as one of the few messages or actions during this period. Looks like Nvidia install with the entire package of experience (unwanted) etc. and very probably not the correct gpu driver.
Finally deciding to cancel the installation of BC by killing the Setup.exe process. Then copy Boot camp install files on the desktop. Lasts 30 minutes to copy. Run again and this time, although taking 15-20 minutes to download and install later with the success message.
Check the graphic driver it shows a yellow exclamation mark, so the following Microsoft instructions I use the uninstall option via the device and then Manager (slowly) come on board to load and download the latest Nvidia driver on their site for the GTX 780 M for 64-bit W10 etc. The same thing that I had used previously. Slow with running the Nvidia Setup program again, but eventually it works only to say that he could not install as unrecognized graphics device...
He ends up with Microsoft PnP driver so it's at least sufficient start and run it again BC of the figure updates as all other drivers have been installed. To restart, but I get an error of K-Mode that is most likely related to this driver graphic and not possible to start in the new W10 Boot Camp partition after 7 hours.
I have a picture of W10 backup recovery (WindowsImageBackup) I've had in a few weeks, but it will not install bet for the installed W10. I try with the ACO created the USB windows but can't seem to get a way to get into recovery mode and to get the menu to install it. I don't have a way to create a USB W10 recovery key now because my other Mac has just installed W7.
Finally I tried to count a reset of the Recovery boot up option but it seems that it will take longer to start.
I also went to the recovery and selected Boot Mode safe, but it opens on an empty black window and he's here doing nothing.
Looks like I'll have to restart on via BCA and reinstall and try and solve the problem of graphics in order to install driver updates from BC and restart to W10 and hope that with the drivers, it returns to the operation and the normal starting time. Then update the gpu driver.
I used and installed Boot Camp several times with over the years including previously an upgrade of W8.1 > W10 I used for over 6 months without problem. I've never known these installation very long or ice once in Windows even for the initial start upward.
For any help or suggestion would be appreciated, and this seemingly simple process has now expanded to five days.

After a clean install of windows 8.1 the audio beats does not open.
It appears in the control, but when I click on it nothing happens.
I have sound, and everything seems to work ok, but I'm curious to know what happened.
When I go to Device Manager and select audio, video controllers and game, there are 2 features 1 is AMD high definition audio and the other just says high definition audio device.both drivers are up-to-date.
I look through the forums CIHI and I tried some of the links for the drivers of the itd, but they will not install.
Any help would be appreciated

Yesterday I did a clean install of Windows 10 on my PC with a backup of the hard disk external. I downloaded iTunes, but get an error message that the drive is locked, the .itl files are locked, or I don't have administrative rights to these files. I deleted and reinstalled the PCI DSS several times correctly in the PCI slot hoping that would be a solution, but to no avail. I mean own installation only the Windows operating system using the Microsoft Win 7 disc.
This installation requires a valid serial key.But using the Toshiba recovery disc requires no any key since the BONES of the window is already enabled on this drive.
