  I have reset default of the manufacturer of the bios (early). BIOS now check the password has not appeared more!

  The only suggestion I can offer would be carefully check the jumpers on the motherboard and see if there is a labeled to clear the BIOS password.  Could be labelled like this...  CLR/PSWD

  Now, I would recommend some changes to the procedure, as written.

  Leave the CMOS battery for 30 minutes and not 5 to ensure that all electricity had been drained from the system board.

  Do not replace the CMOS battery before turning on the PC with the AC adapter only.

  Leave the two batteries out of the PC.

  If this procedure does not clear the BIOS P/W, then someone has put a tight security in the BIOS, and preventing the circumvention of the BIOS P / w.

  I took the following measures in the e-mail

  Please follow these steps to clear the BIOS password:

  Save the attached file in this e-mail on USB than SMC. BIN and insert into the system (or save the file to the root of drive d: HP_TOOLS)

  I had trouble with my BIOS. I would like to install ubuntu and to do this, I need to turn off secure in the bios boot. The thing is, when I bought the computer, I stupidly added a BIOS password, and now I can not remember.

  I guessed all of my usual passwords and no logical password, but it was without result. Then, I turned to hardware. I took out the CMOS battery for about 5 minutes and separately the rider switch. This made that reset the time in the bios.

  I saw there are various software programs that claim to be able to say the password, but I am skeptical to use. I also saw a lot of people pointing in the direction of ""http://bios-pw.org/ ". " However, HP seems to be the only manufacturer who do not give an error code when the incorrect password has been entered three times.

  Is it possible that I can recover the password? When I reset the batteries and riders, has he reset default password? Should I ring HP and see if they can do anything?

  There is a set to clear the cmos and there is a separate to clear the Pswd.

  Option 1: open, you look at your motherboard laptop case. Locate the CMOS jumper, that's close to the battery. Claire remove the shunt and turn on your PC with in 5 to 10 seconds and turn it off. Reinsert the shunt to there correct place and try to turn to go to the BIOS, if there will be a password box will appear.

  Option 2: You must open your laptop and look at the motherboard and locate the CMOS battery. Just delete it with in 5 minutes to clear the BIOS password.
