  I have 1x2BG of DDR2 in this machine right now.  I need to pass in 2x2gb and looked at PC2-6400 sets.  But the .pdf manual says can take DDR3 1333 MHz PC3-1066.  Is this really true?  When I go to the essentials and other sites of the manufacturers, they always use DDR2.

  A few eBay sellers say the works of DDR3, but I do not trust their word, because the photos show the notch located in a different place for DDR3.

  Just like the HP technology, it's a 'manufacturing defect that cannot be resolved. I gues meaning is its built in this way. They cannot send you a webcam material because it came not with the computer in the first place. The glass like thing that you see on top is really a hole for the webcam. But you don't have the equipment for this. You must buy the built in webcam to adapt it.

  If you want to ensure that this is not not a hardware issue, consider reformatting windows. It is not an imaging device after reformatting, theres really no webcam is built in.

  One of these old beasts came my way, sales opportunity palette by. The BIOS is locked, and I have no idea what the Admin of BIOS password. I can boot into Linux or Windows, but some of the BIOS options would really hilarious.

  I need to change/delete the administrator password because the systems
  guy has passed away and I need to change the boot order on one of the machines so that we can
  perform a clean install of the operating system.
  
  I removed the jumpers as described in the instructions but nothing
  changed.  I also removed the bios battery CR2032 and this too didn't
  change anything.
  
  Can I remove the battery and leave the machine un-powered for 24 hours
  to wipe everything that is hard coded in the bios?  Or can somebody tell
  me where else is the power coming from to keep remembering the
  passwords?  There must be a way of wiping everything to get me going.
  
  I thought I will flash the bios if this would work but I can't boot from
  any media because the first media it looks for is HD and I can't change
  anything without the Administrator password.
  Please note: this question is about Bios' Administrator Password (NOT Windows Administrator Password).

  If you try the procedure described on the link you provided that it should work immediately. You perform the steps on the clearing CMOS settings? You can try to remove the battery for a long period of time. Remove all the cables connected to the motherboard. Including the Rams. Then try again. If the same thing happens, motherboard can issue.

  Insert a clean USB flash drive.

  Then run USB Image tool.

  Choose the flash drive, and then click RESTORE.

  Remove the flash drive after the restore.

  Insert a locked portable flash drive and boot. "" If the HARD drive is installed, remove before starting.

  At C:\OUTPUT, type CD...   "And then press ENTER.

  HPBR of type "and then press ENTER.

  First thing is to save your settings.

  Select 3 # re-program.

  Press "S" to save the system information.

  Type HPBR and press ENTER.

  Select 'of FIRST BROADCAST.

  Then select the model.

  After the restart to repeat, same as above but this time SELECT 'SECOND RUN.
