Cisco IPsec client

The Cisco IPsec client only is not currently supported with MAC OSX 10.6, but the built-in MAC VPN client can be used. The current configuration of head IPsec used for current users of Cisco's VPN IPsec Client should work with this client.

Split tunneling can be turned off (just choose tunnelall)

ASA 8.x: allow the tunneling split for AnyConnect VPN Client on the example of Configuration of ASA

You use 3.82 GB to 4 GB of your memory. Something is to take all this memory, causing your computer slow down and eventually freeze. To see which uses the most memory, open the activity monitor by searching for it in the spotlight. Select the memory tab, and then click memory for sorting by the user higher at the lowest. What is at the top should not be more than 600 unless you use some videos crazy editing/rendering programs. You can 'leave' a process of this window if it takes a lot of memory. If you leave something, you will lose everything you were doing in the process (e.g. Word, Safari, etc...) Google Chrome is one of the largest memory there suckers. I don't know if you're using Chrome or not, but I give you just a heads up.

If you see multiple instances of Adware, remove them.

By default, there is nothing in the files of demons of the Agents/launch of launch system, so you can remove these items without damaging the computer. If you have an application that requires files to be placed in one of these files, it will add it in the folder. If you decide to remove items from these folders, what I would do myself, you will have to restart the computer to empty the trash.

With regard to the login items, this launch when your username is connected. This means that it starts running as soon as you connect to your user account. Things like Spotify can use a lot of memory, even if you do not use it. If you don't want Spotify to open when you turn on your computer and connect, open system preferences > users and groups > Login Items > select the ones that you don't want and click on the. This does not remove it from your computer, just prevents it to launch at startup upward.

Finally, there are user Agents throw that you probably shouldn't, particularly those associated with Mac cleaners and torrents. Again, you can delete everything in this folder safely. I suggest you to remove clean my Mac if it is in your Applications folder. Mac do not need antivirus software and most of the "free" antivirus software will tell you there are viruses even when there aren't any. They want you to think that get infected if you buy their product to "clean" what was never there.

    Good luck

(PS. The Etrecheck shows your excellent performance, so that your hardware is probably good).

  • Excessive use of data on the MacBook Air

Just made the switch from PC to Mac.  MacBook Air (El Capitan) with tons of data at startup.  I disabled automatic downloads in the app store.  What can I do else?  Using 3-400 MB every morning.

Any client on a network, including wireless clients, you don't know, could be the consumption of bandwidth. Networks Wi - Fi must be protected with WPA2 security. If yours is not, change the setting of security on the access point. If it is already defined in this way, change the password. Make a chain of at least 8 random characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers. The password is saved in the keychain and you don't have to remember it. in fact, you should not be able to remember.

You make these changes in AirPort Utility, if the access point is an Apple device or in a web browser otherwise.

If the network or the password was precarious, and bandwidth utilization returns to normal after it, you can be sure that the problem was caused by intruders.

But the intrusion may not be the question. Most of BitTorrent, iCloud, Dropbox or another application of data on clouds intervenes when mysterious bandwidth by a Mac using. If you use iCloud, uncheck the box at least iCloud in its pane preferably by car and see if there is no change. If you use a backup software or the third-party network file-synchronization, disable that. If you use a torrent client, remove it.

Otherwise, if you're running OS X 10.9 or later, you can see which processes are most active on the network.

Please launch the activity monitor application in one of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

Select all processes in the view menu, if not already selected, and also select the network tab.

Click on the header of the column of bytes transmitted in the process table to sort the entries of the bandwidth. You may have to click twice to get the highest value at the top. What is and what is the process? Repeat with column bytes Rcvd.

  • Broken space on MacBook Air

I have a MacBook Air, I tried to clean below the space bar. I think I broke it because when I put back it together it is incredibly hard to push and I need to move so he could push. How can I fix? I just need to get a new keyboard?

  • Watch only unlock macBook Air

I have an Iwatch is the first gen however updated to ios 3.0, I also have a MacBook Air, which is a 2015. I only got about 4 months. I downloaded Sierra and was very excited on my watch unlock my mac. However, it will not work.

I did every step very carefully this Apple support suggested, I spent 2 h 30 in the store with a genius and it still does not work. I was on the phone with Apple support and hung up, so Im hoping to get some help here.

    Hey Molly624,

If I understand correctly, you have trouble getting the Apple Watch to unlock your MacBook Air. It seems that you have already done some troubleshooting and you have perhaps already been through this material, but just in case I recommend to read this article. He hs the steps and requirements for this feature.

Automatically unlock your Mac with your Apple Watch

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. Have a good.

  • MacBook air crashes after the release of sleep since the upgrade of the sierra

Began to notice that since I upgraded my macbook air 2015 to sierra, system crashes. The trigger is always when I wake the sleep system (whether it is by opening cover or press a key). Issue is intermittent and may not be reproduced every time. I contacted apple support and they recommended resetting the SMC (ctrl + shift + cmd) but that didn't help either. I also did a check of filesystem (fsck-fy) and which seems to be very well so.

I noticed others seem to be faced with similar problems and a common theme that I noticed was that both we seem to have an installed tardisk. Not sure if this could be a factor?

While it is not any loss of data, the question is certainly annoying and disruptive to work.

The same question was observed at about 7 times since the update of the sierra. Containing the report of Etrecheck to the breast

  • MacBook Air (13 inch, mid-2012) autonomy

    Hi all

I have a question for those who currently own a mid-2012 13 - inch MacBook Air.

How long does work on a single charge while working with Google Docs on Safari, having several other tabs open and listen to music from Apple? I am interested in real data, not the specifications of the Apple Web site.

    Thanks in advance!

    Anyone?

  • GarageBand not installed, although with still 11GB on my MacBook Air. Why?

I just updated my MacBook Air to macOS Sierra. The update allowed me to see what apps, documents, photos, etc. take up storage on my laptop. It shows that Garageband is 11.31 GB on my Macbook Air, even if it is not currently installed.

Why do so many place, despite not actually being installed on my laptop.

    Help, please!

Although the program itself cannot be installed the instrument of music resources can be.

  • Where the pictures after the restoration of Macbook Air?

I just bought a new Macbook Pro for me and gave my older Macbook Air to my partner.

I followed all the instructions on the restoration of the Macbook Air to the factory setting and reinstalling the operating system.

Does everything well, except that I am surprised that there is no iPhoto / Photos icon present on the MacBook Air.

I am certainly not an expert in the field and would appreciate some advice.

What I have to buy this new from Apple to put on MacBook Air from my partner, or is there something that I did wrong?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

  • How to delete photos stored in macbook air any of iPhone

I am on my Macbook Air storage as whenever I backed up my iPhone, I also chose to "import" all the new photos in the iPhone.

I think this is redundant with as backup iTune keeps pictures of the iPhone (from thousands of them since 2007)!

Now my question is: How can I safely delete all photos imported from the iPhone and keep the rest that I took with a digital camera? It removes the original photos in iPhone too next time think I synchronize?

    Thank you all.

We need the details - what version of the operating system, IOS and iPhoto and how you import you MBA?

The mouse does not work, so I can't even close individual applications to try to identify the culprit. Force Quit doesn't shut it down just recharged and breaks down until I can close apps correctly. Thank you!
