Clip hangs up

I would like some advice with clip of my wife.  When she turned on this morning, it crashes just straight up on the image of the "four leaf clover".  He's not going beyond that.  I did the soft reboot (hold down the button for 15 seconds) and it's the only way I can turn the unit off.  I tried to connect to the computer in MSC mode the power switch lock and now the Center button while plugging it into the PC.  Sometimes, it will connect and be visible in 'My Computer' but most of the time that it is not.  About half of the time, I get an error message about 'USB device' not recognized.  I am running Vista.  Any ideas anyone?

Yes, I have tired everything I can find on this forum to reset for reformatting, change of automatic detection in MFC in MTP mode, try on different computers (XP vs Vista), various cables, etc..  I finally gave up and called support.  They had me try to reformat using Windows, and when Windows has given to reformat it with an error, support surrenders too!  Since it's under warranty, they will replace it for me.  so, it's the final solution I guess...

  • Clip + hangs on "refreshing your media" once the files have been added

Hello. Today I bought a Sansa Clip + mp3 player. Its internal memory is 4 GB, so I bought a 32 GB microSD card.

I put the microSD card and connected the device to the computer. I then transfer a lot of files, mp3, some flac, as I read the Player supports this format.

By looking at the output during the transfer, I also saw that some JPG files have been transferred. I guess this isn't a big deal, and I still don't think what is causing the problem.

Now, when I removed the device safely from the computer, it has started to cool off the media and then frozen at 99%.

I had transferred 11 GB of data, so I guess it will just take some time. I left it there.

I returned about 45 minutes later, and he was still stuck there. Now, I started to suspect that something is wrong.

I googled a little and found that maybe I need to reset the device. I did it. I then plugged the device into the computer, with a microSD card still in it.

Immediately when I plugged it in, it started refreshing media once again. This time, he did not even half of it. He just sat there, stuck on this scene.

The device was not recognized by the computer. I did the procedure to reset again, and this time removed the microSD card and connected the device to the computer. This time, it worked, and I was able to access the internal memory.

However, all the files are on the microSD card, and whenever I plug the unit into the machine with the card inserted, I can't access anything whatsoever.

The device is not yet recognized by the operating system. What can I do? Is it possible to return it?

    My OS is Arch Linux.

I did a manual update of the firmware from 10.02.18 and even checked in the device.

How can I fix? It's very frustrating, I feel that I spent money on a useless product.

After several hours of frustration, I ended up installing a third-party firmware called RockBox.

The device booted up, even with the microSD card inserted, and I was immediately able to play the files.

No database has been built. This is the way it should be.

So, things turned out all right in the end.

I just think it's a little sad that I had to jailbreak the device to be able to use it for the purpose I bought it for.

    Thanks anyway.

  • How to re - create a 'shell' blue folder in Vista?

PC has a 500 GB drive partitioned into 4:-c: operating system, recovery D:, E: Applications, F: data.

the data partition is almost full, and since I am unable to extend the partition, I tried to 'move' the 'My videos' folder containing 30 GB of data on the partition "E: Apps" that had more than 100 GB of free space.

as the blue files have a 'Location' extra in their properties window tab, I used this facility to make the journey, typing in the target location.

I was told that Windows will run this and also take care of all the links so that shortcuts and programs that need access to the content would still be able to find the files.

    None of these things happened!

All of the "Nested" folders and files contained in the shell folder 'My videos' blue have been moved, but NOTHING can find them!

In addition and above all, the 'Shell' blue folder just disappeared!

    There is more!

I made a folder ordinary return on drive 'F:' buff and have found my way to the icon that recreates the 'My videos' folder blue lost with the film clip hanging out, but I can't impregnate it with the properties of the shell folder.

I understand that a "Desktop.ini" file is necessary to complete the magic, I have even the script of the .ini file, but I'm afraid I'll just make things worse and my already creaking and aged operating system will fall apart for the dust!

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you.

Your video folder is set to e:\ which is not allowed. Assuming that the true name of folders is videos (as likely but you see the English translation of it is underlying name - which, in English, is the same) allows to repair the registry.

Close the Explorer as above and then type at the command prompt (or copy and paste by clicking in the command prompt window and choose Paste).

The two above hang the computer when I play a clip... picture so bad and he has not returned to its main menu.
I have to shut down the computer by pressing the button for a long time.

    Hello

Unfortunately have no adequate explanation. You can try to reinstall or check if you need codecs. Check on the net and you will find a large number of codec packages useful.

    Good bye

    Hi ATR (in addition to the answer);

    Success!

If I double click at a location chosen in the soundtrack, which is what I need, I discovered "statements.

  • Premiere Pro CC 2015 hang up when I extend a clip.

This has happened since the super frequently updated to the new Premiere Pro. I don't know what is the end, but whenever I send a clip to meet at the end of another element of the control screen gets stuck. I can do anything in the rest of the program, but my video monitor will take more than a minute or two to come off. Nothing I have tried so far has worked. Usually, it's faster for me to leave the first and re-open the project to wait for this.

    Hope this picture helps.

Under the key sequence, uncheck preview Composite during Trim.

  • Clip plate hangs

I keep having prempro crash when you cut the in or out point of a clip. I'm on an iMac mid 2011 with 16 GB of ram and editing on a firewire drive. cc2014 was beautiful, but every now and then size a clip with the 'v' tool causes an accident. It happens all the time. The clip can be on a track by herself or with other clips above or below. Help. I can not any work done. I am using PremPro since the end of the 1990s.

    Hey Kevin,

If you're on Premiere Pro CC 2015, turn off "Composite overview over Trim" under the timeline display settings and see if it works.

    Thank you

  • Window program hangs when setting clip/exit points on the timeline

Since the CC 2015 update, I experience a lag very heavy/lock up while adjusting the clamp/exit points in the timeline. What is happening because of the window of the program trying to cross to a clip in/out. The tool slide etc work fine showed a similar screen. It only crashes when I try to adjust the length of the clip and it freezes the program window and then crashes me to do something for a few minutes after I published the adjustment.

I would like to know if there is a setting that will allow me to disable this feature available? In this State, not only it is completely useless, he effectively kills my productivity because of the constantly waiting for first to catch up and I would like to continue editing.

Here are a few dumpsters screen showing available to program window that is problem. The left is using the tool to slide, with no problems, the right is just to adjust the length of the clip. Once I have let go of this edition, the freezing of the program window will remain there for even 2 minutes before finally turning to simple view of standards and allow me to continue.

    Hello

Click the timeline (wrench top left of Panel) display settings button in the timeline panel and uncheck 'preview Composite to the 'Trim' course.

    Check if that helps.

  • First Pro 2015 freezing / hanging on trimming clips

So I've just updated for first 2015 and I regularly have a problem whereby the program seems to freeze for 5 to 10 seconds and the monitor of the program shows 2 different frameworks that looks like I use the tool bearing, which I am not editing (see image).broken.jpg

    Intel Core i7 - 2700 K CPU @ 3.50 GHz

    16 GB of Ram

    Nvidea GeForce GTX 580

It happened all day yesterday on another project that was imported from the first old, so I thought it must be a problem with that or with Neat V4 of the video (that I bought yesterday and does not work with the GPU annoyingly).  I tried to disable support CUDA and it's always the same. In the timeline are 2 files, one is my C100 and other of my 6 d.  I work in a DSLR 25 fps sequence of 1920 x 1080 with no frame (progressive scan) selected.  It is of my spending for projects with multiple cameras...  The problem seems to occur when I bring in 6 d images and start to cut (after cutting) with the selection tool.  I do not use the rolling Edit tool, as I said.

Never experienced this problem with the old version of first and it's makes me crazy and taking twice as long to get done easy Assembly!

    HELP PLEASE

    Thank you

    Dan

    Hi guys,.

This is probably caused in certain sequences due to the new option "Composite overview for Trim. You can try to disable this in the menu panel 'key' chronology, which should make the Cup more sensitive and reduce the time to return to a playable state. We explore why this happens in some cases but not in others.

  • After the installation of Office 2003, Word hangs on a Tecra A3

    Hello

On my Toshiba Tecra A3 (1.86 GHz Pentium, 1 GB RAM) I had until yesterday Office 2000 it emits the ideal way.
Now, I installed Office 2003 and I am unable to work with Word.

The program hangs on each file that contains a single piece of simple photo or clip art. I can't believe it. A re-setup of Word did not help. Now, I installed again in parallel Word 2000 and it works flawless.

THX if someone can give an opinion

    Antonio Giarrusso

    Hello

You must perform a new installation of Office 2003.
First remove all files and the former software office 2000 registry keys and then perform a new installation.
After the installation of Microsoft Office 2003 Download all patches and updates on the Microsoft site.
The use of the CCleaner is very useful, because this tool checks the programs and the entries in the registry for certain shortcomings

  • Shortcut to move clips there are no gaps and clips do not overlap

I would like to be able to select a bunch of clips and use a shortcut, so there is no gap between the clips and clips that are overlapping are moved so that they are side by side.  It's the secondary script.  Here is a screenshot.  I want these clips side by side, but I don't want to do it manually.  Y at - it a shortcut that will do it?  Thank you.

AAfraid not. First move the clips, either one or the other, so that they are all online. Select them and make a secondary. Click on each of the gaps to select and remove. The magnetic chronology will be close to the top. Or mix just manually through hanging.

  • PCIe-6259 anallog effect of clipping (perhaps overvolting) on other analogously in the input channels?

Curious to know if the cutting/possible ovevolting on one of the analog channels would affect the performance of other similar channels. I have two systems, one where signals don't clip and the other channels are still operable. The other has some problems of cutting (which fade eventually btw) on some of the ins anlog. One with the cutting on other channels are apparently unusable while those who did no cropping entry seems to be well.

I seem to be affected by a situation in which hanging on an analog channel makes so that other analog channels do not work.

Curious to know if I can see what is expected?

    Anyone have an overview here?

This is how it is supposed to work?

We do not guarantee that all channels will work normally when you're in a State of fault/over-voltage.

Since it is a MUX architecture'ed, that the channels are analyzed in order in the amplifier of shared instrumentation and ADC.  If the instrumentation amplifier is on track for channel 0 (for example), it will take some time to recover from this error after the next channel is enabled in.  This can cause a number of incorrect following channels (possibly indicated as being on track).

Of course, we do not recommend to use this device in an error condition. When you said "analog channels does not" what do you mean?  The data on track?

    Some things that might help:

-Slower sample which allows more time to settle the instrumentation amplifier

-Skip the chain incriminated in the scan list

-Make sure that the offending channel is set to the widest range of voltage (+/-10 v)

  • Sansa Clip freezes at startup and on the firmware update

After unplugging my video to my computer, it is hung on the screen "Connected".

I forced a reset by pressing the power switch it 10 seconds

He then restarted and hung on the Sansa screen

I followed the instructions given in these forums in order to download the update of the firmware, mount the Clip in MSC mode and install the firmware.  Unplug the Clip, it hangs at "Update Firmware in progress" screen.

I then re-mounted the Clip in MSC mode and deleted all the files of music and the update of the firmware.  After disconnection, he hooked again on the Sansa screen.  I then mounted in MSC mode and re-installed the update of the firmware.  He is now suspended again at the screen to update the firmware.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The following procedure restored the Clip, but requires access to a Windows operating system:

    1. Tower Mounting Clip in MSC mode off camera (now switch is in position 10 sec If necessary 'on'). Set the switch to position 'Hold '. While pressing the "Select" Center, plug it into the USB port on a Windows computer. Wait for Windows to recognize the device before you release the "Select" button

    2. format of the Clip Double click on 'My Computer' to open a window of the Explorer. You should now see the video listed as a reader. Right click on the video player icon and select "Format". Select "FAT32". Do not check the box "quick format". Format the drive.

    3. Finish you can now disconnect the Clip of the computer and it should behave as a Clip of the new out-of-the-box. If you wish, you can download Sansa Updater software from the web site of Sansa (Sansa > support > Clip > downloadsansa Firmware Updater) and run it to install the latest version of the firmware on your device.

  • Suggestion of cheap headphones for the clip

    Hello

I am the proud owner of a brand new Sansa clip 2 GB black. I love his sound, but I hear everywhere that the upgrade to better headphones make a world of difference. So my question for you guys:

What headphones/IEMs would you recommend for use with the clip?

    My constraints are:

    1. I want to perform well unamped.

    2. my budget is certainly more than what I paid for the player. Preferably under $25.

    3. I have to listen to classic as well as a rock. I like the bass and treble are present in the right amount!

Research, here are a few people have suggested

    a. Koss KSC 75 (do these jobs well UN-amplified?)

    b. creative EP-630 (I doubt it is the acute quality)

    c. JVC Marshmallow

    What would you suggest?

    Thanks in advance!

I have KSC - 75... as you can see below in my "sig" and with the clamp and the rocket, no amp not required. I'm the same way... low is great, but not when he drowns everything else out, but too sharp is a bad thing too. They are very well balanced and who leaves the game EQ on 'normal' (your best bet unless your ' phones aren't very good) .the only preset EQ I use occasionally is "Jazz". (And the EQUALIZER custom drops overall volume a bit). The only downside to these ' phones is after 3 or 4 hours, they can become a little bit uncomfortable, being "clip - we"(outer ear). "" The stock buds are not that bad, a little light on the serious if I remember correctly, but I stopped using them because they wouldn't stay put... my ears apparently are not in the right shape to keep them in place. The KSC-75 were on clearance at Radio Shack for $5.47 recently, but is same, normally less than $20 online. In all honesty, I can't give advice on in-ear buds because they bother my ears. So enjoy your Clip with one that you end up being (I hang mine stereo all the time too)

  • Movies created with Windows DVD maker, hang up or restart

I used DVD maker several times in the past without this problem.  Recently, I tried to burn a DVD, and a 10-minute clip that was just started.  I reburned the DVD, without this clip, and at around the same point in time, is the same thing, is not the file.  I tried to burn another DVD, with all the clips of orignial, without any other files or programs, and this time there were several hang ups or reboots.  No idea what is happening and how to fix it?

Thank you for your comments.  I did not use Movie maker to make the DVD, I was using DVD maker and it has worked well in the past, with the same type of video files that I currently use. I don't think I did any changes since I modified a DVD burned, but it is possible.  I'll try to remove the filters and see what happens.
