• New Sansa Clip + not showing the track titles

  I recently got a new Sansa Clip + as a Christmas gift to replace my old (his helmet came out). I've updated to the latest firmware (even my old 01.02.18A,), and I copied my entire library of music from the old to the new player. Everything plays and works in the same way, except for one thing: on the new drive, the song titles never see the place, and the name of the file is always displayed during playback of a song. My old player would show the title of the song of the metadata instead of the file name during playback if it was available. I checked that the titles are actually there and were not lost through some freak mishap copy, so I'm puzzled as to why it won't work as my old drive.

  Well, Yes, that is my point of view. All tags are there, and all the rest (album, artist, etc.) is displayed in the main screen of the reading and the news section of track except for the title (who, oddly, has never had a track in any case information entry, but that is not the issue).

  I am putting together a Keynote presentation for an event. During the test/read the file, I get a huge 14 second delay before the slide transitions occur. I saw the same presentation on iMac a colleague and the presentation is seamless - no delay (unless specified by me of course!). I use Keynote a lot, so I am confident that these delays are not of my own making.

  I use an iMac (retina 5K, 27 inches, end of 2015), with a processor 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5 and DDR3 8 GB 1867 MHz memory.

  Version of Keynote is 6.6.2

  The speech and the software system is completely up-to-date (I've updated everything in the hope that it could solve the problem).

  All proposals/solutions would be appreciated as I am quite confused.

  I'll answer my own question, just in case someone else has the same question; I forgot to mention that I use a dual display configuration - my second monitor is a Benq 24 "HD. I noticed that when I have the browser on the Benq and reading on the screen of the iMac, I'm late, but when I swap them so that the browser or on the iMac and playback of the presentation on the Benq, I don't get the problem.

  There are a few things that could be the cause. Please can you try the following:

  • Check the Adobe Flash plugin is updated to the latest version
  • Open Firefox in Safe Mode and check if the problem repeats. If this isn't the case, then most likely an Add - it is at the origin of the problem.
  • Try turning off hardware acceleration - Options > advanced > General > uncheck "use hardware acceleration when available.

  Unless the software that came with your sound device has a low specific/equal control, you are snookered in by using the equalizer. However, you can try the web, Google free bass boost or similar. I think I saw a software which pushed on bass, but can't for the life of me remember his name.
  BTW, the software prolly will only be as a high attenuator that amplifies low frequencies, may be what you need.

• I have a red line vertically down the middle of the screen during playback of movies with media player on windows 7. How can I fix it?

  This happens with Windows media and windows media player classic player.  Can't we vlc and I don't get the red vertical line running down the screen.  No matter what movie I play the line is there.  But it does not appear the tile view deleted I push actually play.  When I initially opened the player, I get a blank black screen.  But once I press on play the movie starts and the red line is there.  Fast forward, rewind and pause, the line remains.  How can I solve this problem?

  Have you installed a software codec pack or video? Maybe it's the cause.
