  The word problem seems more likely to have a bug introduced by Microsoft in their last update for Word 2016, a couple of weeks. Someone posted a way to get Word to revert to a version:

  Hello people.  Anyone else having issues sending messages text messages on an iMac?  Any account I "start a conversation" with, I get an error message "undelivered".  No matter if I start a new conversation or continue an existing conversation.  I even have this error when you try to send a new text message.  So far, I did the following:

  1 signed out and back in again.

  2 selected different options "start the conversation with", i.e. icould, phone number, e-mail, apple id.

  3. you leave Messages and re-opened.

  4 restarted iMac

  I'm on an iMac 24 "2007 with El Capitan (v10.11.3).  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  -Norm

• iPad sync error message

  I have a mini iPad 3 connected to my iMac with El Capitan using iTunes.  The synchronization process hangs up in the meantime for the items to copy and displays an error message - trying to copy to the disk "Macintosh HD" failed.  Required folder cannot be found.  This is a recent problem and I am not sure if it's related to the upgrade to El Capitan.  I tried restarting both devices, but not luck.  Advise please.

• CHKDSK stops without any error message

  A week whenever I turned on my computer, CHKDSK has started checking my files. On the second part of the check-up (usually around), he simply stops and sends me on the desk.   If you want just a report of chkdsk on your C partition select Start, run, type "cmd" without the quotes in the box and press ENTER. Type chkdsk, and then press the ENTER key and a report, stating, among other things, a summary of how disk space is used, is provided. If you want a report on a partition or one drive other than C, you need to go to this partition. To access F, where F is the required partition you type F: and press the ENTER key.

  Copies of the reports from a command prompt can be tricky. Right click and select mark. This allows to highlight the selected text, and then click on copy. You will then open Word, Notepad or similar file, right click and paste. The selected text transfers your Clipboard to open the file. You can paste directly into a response message to the majority of the forums.

  Did you look in Event Viewer?

  To access the system log, select Start, Control Panel, administrative tools, Event Viewer, in the list on the left of the window select Windows and the system logs. You may need to click a second time to see the last report above.

  A tip for posting copies of error reports! Run Event Viewer and double-click the error you want to copy. Click the copy button to place a copy in the Clipboard and close Event Viewer. Now start your message and paste it into the body of the message. Make sure that it is the first dough right out of the event viewer.

  You are using an older version of Mac OS X. It seems that there are problems with QuickTime and the Clipboard which are the OS APIs.

  I recently got a new computer for work. I used to have Win2000 on my laptop, and now I have XP. I always had DW8 and when I worked on the files PHP in DW, I hit F12, and IE would launch a preview of the PHP page. No problem...

• 10 - IOS Installation error message

  My iPhone is loaded and updated iOS are downloaded to the phone.  There are 10 GB free so space should not be a problem.
