Cliq 2:3 short beeps without notification/reason

Hello

I would be grateful if someone can help me understand why my Cliq 2 (Android 2.2, T-Mobile) emits 3 short beeps randomly. There is nothing in the notification area. I have auto sync disabled for all Google apps. This occurs even on WiFi. GPS, Bluetooth turns off as well. There is no missed call or an unread text message. I feel that it is related to the loss of voice and data signal. Is it possible to disable this option? I looked at all the settings I could think.

Thank you

Ahmad

I don't know a 3 beep system sound. You don't see notifications? You have downloaded all the new apps before this started?

Any thing used when this happens?

Let me know, I hope that I can help you to understand.

But two beeps sometimes appear when starting the laptop, this could be the sound POST (self-test notification under tension).

However, you should also check if these two beeps would be available after the installation of new OS (new installation).

I also removed the disk hard windows 7 and I still get the beeps that I described above. I made sure that all the cables are correctly seated and I cleaned the MOBO set for dust, including the CPU.

I get a white one on my screen nothing shown.

When I plug the keyboard I get no power, lights (NumLock, CapsLock) etc.

    The mouse is powered.

    Quote from Wikipedia:

S/PDIF (Sony/Philips Digital Interface Format) is a type of digital audio interconnection, used in audio devices to the audio output over relatively short distances.

In any case, it's time to "responsibly recycle" this motherboard and get a new one.

You traded all that was possible exchange, without solving the problem.

Pull on all small riders off the coast of the old MOBO and then save them.  They might be useful.

Try to find a MOBO from the same manufacturer with the same type of CPU (Intel processor) or AMD in AMD.

That increases the chances of (stored on the current hard disk) Windows being able to reconfigure itself to adapt to the new hardware configuration.  This "correspondent" also helps to position all the external (USB, Ethernet) audio connectors on the new MOBO to physically enter your current case.

    Hello Eldorado,

I'm sorry this isn't a question in relation to the subject, but I have L300 - laptop 17L and from time to time she stops (specifically put it yourself in stand-by) without any reason.

It is not the cooler or something else...
The battery is full, and what happens while I'm writing or working on the laptop computer in general!
Local service says it's nothing wrong with the laptop, I'm so nervous, I can't work, it's interrupting my work...

    PLEASE HELP ME! Thank you

    Hello

    What happens exactly?
Is - what the laptop stops or go in mode sleep?

You said it happens from time to time, this means that it is not easy to reproduce this problem, and I think that the technician was not able to reproduce this is good?

What applications are running if this happens?

Have you tried to restore the laptop to factory settings using the recovery disk or recovery disk? Do this!
Also check if your BIOS is up to date!

Once 1 turn off the HDD, its become ok protection.

    Hello

The history seems a bit strange and mysterious.

First of all it s very strange that the laptop crashes without reason and that the protection of HARD drive tool reports errors.

According to these two questions, I assume that your disk is not ok and it possible s it fails.

In such cases and HDD replacement is desirable to check if it helps to solve both of these annoying problems.

    RBurke, welcome to the forum.

The BIOS beep Code you hear is due to a memory problem.  Here's a guide that will help solve the problem:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/bph07107

You should read the entire page.  Beep codes common to HP computers are towards the bottom of the page.

  • Z400: four short beeps

Recently, I moved from xw4400 (second hand) Z400. The transfer was relatively easy: I moved from SSD from the old to the new computer and made a few adjustions. Everything is fine, except:

    1. after closing down (and usually before logon) a four short beeps is the herd. Computer passed all the test of the utility of diagnosis (downloaded from HP). I made two changes to the system: Add a card WiFi PCI fan fore (directly connected to the transformer unit, not MB) (not working as before - usually need to press Connect)

    2. at the time of startup, before the login screen, there is a wait of 5 to 10 seconds (black screen with a cursor in the upper left; a very short message 'Attempt to start hard drive', and then connect you). Interestingly, I tried a completely clean installation of Win 7 Pro, but a black screen remains.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

    Gojko,

    1. the Z400 sometimes will give a 4 beeps if the system is shut down, and if the power cord is pulled (or AC power supply is cut off by a switch on a power strip), then the power button is pressed a few seconds after turning off the power (with power still disconnected).  What is happening, the system will try to power upward after pressing the power button, use the small residual charge in the system.  There is not enough power for the system to start to give of false beeps "power."

However, these beeps to the power down don't cause the system failure and do not prevent the system startup when the power supply is reconnected.  It looks like a failure, but it is not.
Just to be sure, you do run on 120 or 240 VAC?
The system has never failed to turn on when the system is plugged into a power outlet?

    2. a few start-up systems after a wait of 5 second or 10 with the cursor in the corner.  I don't know why this happens, but it is normal that on many systems.

You said you took records previous and other elements of the xw4400.  You reinstall the operating system?  You update the drivers?  I recommend that you install the latest driver for chipset Z400 and other drivers, if you have not already done so.

  • lost windows media without known reason player

I very recently used SPAMfighter, since I finally used Windows Media Player.

    Hi Bartlett_93,

    ·         What operating system is installed on your computer?

    ·         What are you referring when you say "have lost the player windows media without known reason '?

Follow the steps below and check if the problem persists.

Method 1: I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall Windows Media Player using the Windows features turn on or off.

See the following for more information Microsoft article:

Turn on or off Windows features

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-Windows-features-on-or-off

Note: Windows Media Player should be included under multimedia functions. Uncheck the same and restart the computer to uninstall WMP. Rechecking and restarting the computer would be re - install WMP.

Method 2: There might be some third-party at the origin of the problem application to happen, that's why I suggest you put your machine in a clean boot state and check.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to configure the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

  • computer not start, receive a beep long and three short beeps

Just installed the update video drivers ATI disk mag APC program and when I tried to start computer I'll beep long and three short beeps but nothing else happened.  The answers to the problem

These beeps are error codes of the BIOS POST (Power on self test). A series of long and short three is usually a related video.

This is usually caused by a problem with the video card or the memory on the video card. It can also be a motherboard problem. I don't know how this is related to the update of video drivers, unless something was going wrong catastrophic.
If it is a PC with an independent video card, you can try physically re - a corner of the card or install a new card, so you can have access to the computer for a further diagnosis. There are not many other things that can be performed before the replacement of hardware components (motherboard, video card, etc.).
  • The system restarts often without notifications during labour

    Description of the problem.
The system restarts often without notifications when you work. There is no periodic synchronization for reboot happens in a mansion at random.

Description of any troubleshooting that I took.
Updates Windows; Antivirus updates; Power has changed (SMPS) and verified. Deleted malware help malware bytes. analysis with Lavasoft ADware. Unchecked the option restart automatically under boot options and recovery. The question still persists.

In most cases, a sudden and complete computer shutdown is either caused by overheating or bad RAM problems... well I have seen some buggy programs that cause this too, but since you say it's random, I would place my bet on one of the first two problems.  I suppose that there is nothing in the system (start-> Run-> "eventvwr.msc") event logs?

You could try to run a freeware such as 'Core Temp ' software which will display your CPU temperature and loading, and may allow you to avoid this problem.  Running tests of RAM may also be revealing even if RAM tests tend to stress the CPU overheating so cause so you may not know that is your problem.  If you have replaced the power supply, then I guess that you have cleaned the sheep of dust on the motherboard and check the CPU fan rotates properly while you were there.

  • 1 long beep then 3 short beeps hp pavilion dv2726ca

I left my laptop in hibernation for nearly half a day, so that I could easily what I do. When I got home, I discovered that the battery ran out of charge, I plugged it and waited a little, but when I pressed the power button, the computer has this beep 1 long followed by 3 short beeps.

I would like to know what the problem is and if it can be fixed and how.

    Thank you for you time!

I'm a little close to panic in this topic

Ok. It is therefore at this time, when you feel that it is a condition where contact HP would make things easy.
But if the diagnosis is the failure of the card, please be informed of the replacement cost by the new vs a go just for a new laptop for yourself.

Hopefully my posts has helped you,

  • HP Envy 14 = 5 short beeps, only to restart

When I restart my HP Envy 14 laptop, I often get quick and 5 short beeps as it appears the power on the screen.

The laptop hangs right on the power on the screen. If I do enough keystrokes, the cell then begins to make a long beep after each keystroke keyboard. Pressing ESC to see the start menu has no effect even before I start the long beeps.

If I turned it off and back up, it's fine. It doesn't happen to reboot, to boot from power.

The only other issue I have, moreover, is where double strikes or Rapids are sometimes missed (see this forum entry). Not sure if it is really a question; may just be how this keyboard works, but I wanted to point out just in case.

I found the problem. and is not a defective hardware. I installed TrueCrypt 7. 0's whole disk encryption, and it interferes with the functioning of the BIOS on the restarts.
