Clock loses 3 hours

My task bar clock loses 3 hours from time to time! I saw the fix somewhere but can't find it now!

Hello

Make sure you have the correct time zone selected for your system (Control Panel/Date & time). The default installation is the West coast of the United States (i.e. where is MS), if you are on the coast is (a difference of 3 hours), then it will change when the clock sync. Bigfoot1950, when requesting help, you must always include the brand / model of the computer or the monitor. This information is necessary for us to review the specifications for them.

    In addition, they change the time zones?  It seems that the time zone differs from the Eastern Pacific or something similar.

  • Create a digital clock from 12 hours to animate CC in HTML5 Canvas

    Hello

    I have the AS3 code for a clock to 12 hours of work with a dynamic text field and I try to translate in HTML5. I found several examples of the clock in javascript code, but I can't translate it into a clock to work in CC to animate.

    Can someone help me to translate this AS3 code working javascript/HTML5 to animate CC?

    Add enter the event framework to the dynamic text field.

    theTime.addEventListener (Event.ENTER_FRAME, showTime);

    function showTime(event:Event):void {}

    Create a new instance of the date class.

    var myTime:Date = new Date();

    This returns the seconds, minutes and hours.

    var theSeconds = myTime.getSeconds ();

    var theMinutes = myTime.getMinutes ();

    var theHours = myTime.getHours ();

    var ampm:String;

    Display am/pm according to the current time.

    If (theHours > = 12) {}

    AMPM = 'H ';

    } else {}

    AMPM = "AM";

    }

    It subtracts 12 of the hour when it is higher at 13.

    If (theHours > = 13) {}

    theHours = theHours-12;

    }

    If (theHours == 0) {}

    theHours = theHours + 12;

    }

    Adds "0" If there is only a single digit.

    If (String (theHours) .length == 1) {}

    theHours = '0' + theHours;

    }

    If (String (theMinutes) .length == 1) {}

    theMinutes = '0' + theMinutes;

    }

    If (String (theSeconds) .length == 1) {}

    theSeconds = '0' + theSeconds;

    }

    Displays the time in the dynamic text field.

    "theTime.text = theHours +": "+ theMinutes +": "+ theSeconds +" "+ ampm;

    }

    var tl = this

    createjs. Ticker.addEventListener ('tick', showTime);

    function showTime (event) {}

    Create a new instance of the date class.

    var myTime = new Date();

    This returns the seconds, minutes and hours.

    var theSeconds = myTime.getSeconds ();

    var theMinutes = myTime.getMinutes ();

    var theHours = myTime.getHours ();

    var ampm.

    Display am/pm according to the current time.

    If (theHours > = 12) {}

    AMPM = 'H ';

    } else {}

    AMPM = "AM";

    }

    It subtracts 12 of the hour when it is higher at 13.

    If (theHours > = 13) {}

    theHours = theHours-12;

    }

    If (theHours == 0) {}

    theHours = theHours + 12;

    }

    Adds "0" If there is only a single digit.

    If (String (theHours) .length == 1) {}

    theHours = '0' + theHours;

    }

    If (String (theMinutes) .length == 1) {}

    theMinutes = '0' + theMinutes;

    }

    If (String (theSeconds) .length == 1) {}

    theSeconds = '0' + theSeconds;

    }

    Displays the time in the dynamic text field.

    "tl.theTime.text = theHours +": "+ theMinutes +": "+ theSeconds +" "+ ampm;

    }

    Start > Control Panel > Classic view > Reginoal and Language Options > courrieronglet > customize this format... > time tab >...

  • Clock loses time (after the recent repair) Windows 7

    I had a problem with my computer was off for four days, the button "power on" he had set.

    Now, my clock seems to be wasting time (when a computer is turned off).  I keep resetting and synchronization of the time, but when or hibernation, he loses time.  Any help?
    Battery is good and no further questions, I can tell.  How can I return to precise timing.  (doesn't have the problem before the correction of power)

    Have you checked for viruses?  I would try to start safe mode and do a full system scan.

    Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode.

    I hope this helps.  Good luck.

  • Clock loses time to computer HP G62 laptop but battery OK

    Clock keeps losing time. All messages say that the battery must be faulty, but when I run the battery (with or without the external power supply) check the status is always good. What is the reliability is the battery check and he would take the flaws at the origin of the problem of clock?

    Otherwise the overall performance of the battery on the laptop does not have seriously deteriorated since the problem of clock started.

    I would be grateful for any help.

    Hi Tony,.

    The battery you need to replace is the RTC (CMOS) battery - the procedure to replace that is detailed from Page 51 in your & Maintenance Guide.

    The replacement battery, you need is almost certainly a cr2032 (but controlling one of you remove) which is easily available at any PC shop / electric - an example of this battery can be seen here.

    Kind regards

  • Computer clock loses time between stop market.

    A response was that I could use a change of battery, but I got this Dell computer for a year.  Is it possible to change the battery already?

    If he loses time between when you turn off and on again, it's a sign that maybe it's that the CMOS battery has failed.
    Battery size piece, trickle of power is to keep system settings when the computer is turned off.

    They cost about $5 to buy.

  • My time/clock zone is 2 hours off

    How can I fix the clock, I live hour Central U.S., but in order to have the time just on the computer I use PST U.S.? Suppose I know basically nothing to the computer, so a simple solution. HA.

    Click on the date and time the notification (lower-right) area, and then select 'change settings of date and time... '. ». On the Date and time window that opens go to the time tab, click "Edit settings", then click on "update now". Make sure that the option "Synchronize with an internet time server" is active. If you get an error message select another server in the list and click 'update now' once again

    Additionally, make sure that you have installed all Windows updates. Open Control Panel, go to system and security > Windows Update and click "find updates". Install updates if they are available, and restart your PC.

    Hope this solves.

  • Equium L20-198 loses time - about 7 minutes each day

    My L20-198 system tray clock loses about 7 minutes each day.
    I can update manually via the "set Date/time" function right click but must remember to do whenever I start and, as often, I forget quickly become desynchronized of 20-30 minutes.

    Any ideas what the problem is and how to fix?
    Do I need new CMOS battery?
    If so, how it access?

    Hello

    > Do I need new CMOS battery?
    Maybe

    But first, it would be interesting to know if the same time is seen in the BIOS.

    According to your message, you change the time always under Windows OS.
    Please check the BIOS, correct the time and save the changes to the BIOS.

    May I ask where have you noticed this problem?
    Eventually, it happens because of the old CMOS battery

    I would also try to recharge the battery CMOS.
    Connect the L20 to AC adapter leave for 18 to 20 hours.
    During this time the main battery will be charged and then the battery CMOS.

  • Windows Vista clocks works slowly and does not reset correctly when the computer is restarted.

    I can reset the clock via the server of internet time and after about an hour, he begins to lose time.  When you restart the laptop, the clock is not properly reset the CMOS.  I don't think I have battery problems since the clock loses time if connected to power or not.

    Thanks for the reply David.  I'm not sure that replacing the CMOS battery in a laptop is simple.  I'd appreciate an information change in a notebook Acer Aspire.
