  I have a little old ipod touch (2nd generation, I think it's that old) that is running OS 4.2.1 and cannot be upgraded to higher.  It has been great as a clock radio and music machine, but the morning of the new year has not extinguished the alarm.  Today is the third day now that it did not explode, so I started to make some tests and the alarm clock does not work (although, curiously, the timer is).   The built in clock app can not be deleted. It's there somewhere search on all pages and all records. If all else fails, you can reset your layout of the home screen. Settings > general > reset > Reset Home screen presentation.

• Clock radio - no noise... once again!

  With the last update to 9.3, the built-in clock (part of the application of the clock) alarm no longer works!
