CM2320nf MFP all-in-one: installation CM2320nf MFP on El Capitan

I recently bought a new Mac with El Capiatn loaded. The installation software HP for my all-in-one software is several years old. I can't get the software installed and can't seem to find it on the HP site. No help available?

Hello

Follow these steps to install the print drivers and fax for the CM2320 on your operating system:

http://h20565.www2.HP.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docLocale=en_US&docid=emr_na-c03413323&sp4ts.Oid=3597338#N10096

Scanning is no is longer supported on the operating system, and no scanning driver are available.

You can always try to use 3rd party Vuescan shich application seems to support the CM2320 on El Capitan:

    Hello

I have a HP Photosmart C7280 all in one printer which worked very well on wifi with Windows 8. A few days ago I got the prompt to upgrade to 8.1. Subsequently the printer would not work and I got prompt/warning message to re - install the printer software. And I went to the control panel and deleted all the old HP software, tried to re - install the last being on the HP site... nothing will do.

I tried to do a number of ways - manual download, download the HP software that determines what software is required, then it downloads for you...

It seems to start unpacking all right, but then gets stuck on "Checking system" and never progresses to something else. Help!

Hate to be irreverent on the issue, but the error is already tell you the problem. Not having no other specifics on what printer you have it is hard to watch even if there is no option. However, there are probably not many, if any. You can check the HP Support to see if they have a Windows 7 driver for your printer. If they don't you won't be able to install it on Windows 7.

There is another option that could be useful to you, but if there are some expenses you will have to balance that and how much it would cost to get a new printer. If you have professional or ultimate edition and your hardware supports Hardware Assisted Virtualization (HAV) you can try XP mode... create a virtual machine that is running a full XP SP3. You will probably need to download XP drivers, but that shouldn't be a problem because your printer is certainly compatible with Windows XP. Windows Virtual PC will provide instructions, a HAV test application and all other downloads required for installing XP mode. Once XP mode is installed and running on your system, you simply need to install your printer under XP. This link will take you to a tutorial on loading USB devices and run in XP mode, to share with the host system Windows 7.

If you do not have the correct version of Windows, anytime upgrade to professional will run $ 90 (everything is free). However, before spending on the upgrade, run the test your HW to make sure that you support HAV. It is the second step of the instructions of Windows Virtual PC. No sense spending $90 if you can't run XP mode anyway. If your HW does not support you'd have to buy a new PC to get there... much more than a new printer.

If you do not support HAV but you really want to keep the printer, you can use VirtualBox.org for virtualization (free) and then load a full version of XP or Vista to create a virtual environment to load your printer. Here, the cost would be about as much as the cost of a new printer.

If you're not too attached to the printer, just buy a new. HP has some photosmart printers that include wireless conectivity and even use separate color cartridges. The latter is very nice as you accelerate rarely out of all colors simultaneously.

Anyone know what the following error codes when installing the software for this printer:

    393970

    and

    33504353

What I did to work things out is as follows:

1 installed HP Scan and Capture and HP Aio Printer Remote (to use instead of the HP Solution Center)

    2. reinstalled the HP C7280 features full software and driver

    3. once step 2 Installing got by Finder and install the driver for my wireless printer, I started the HP scanning and capture App even if the installation was not complete step 2 above.  Because I knew installation in step 2 do not reach during product setup step install and then uninstall my printer driver and the Solution Center.

    4. once I was sure that the scanner was working through the application in step 3, I then started the (Ctrl-alt-del) Task Manager and stopped the installation process of stpe 2 before it may fail in the stage of product configuration and before he could unstall my printer driver.

5 then, I restarted my desktop and made sure that analysis of the HP and Capture app was still working... it was.  Then I deleted the icon for Solution Center since that would not work in all cases.  So, my function is back.
