    People of the night...

Just got a family run Vista premium, Equium L40-156, everything is going well except a little problem with the display adapter (Mobile Intel 965).

Tried the drivers that I had with the installer
Tried the drivers from the toshiba download page
Tried the drivers on the Microsoft Update site
Tried the drivers from the website of intel

All have the same problem, in Device Manager, it shows with an error (the pretty yellow triangle with the "!") with an error code 12 (the device cannot find enough free resources) even after a system resart.

    Hello

I have studied a little bit and looked on the Microsoft page for some answers and found out what exactly means the error code 12.

    ------------------------------------
    + Error code 12 +.

+ This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. (Code 12) +.

+ Two devices are assigned the same i/o ports, the same interrupt, or the same Direct memory access channel (whether through BIOS, the operating system, or a combination of both). This error message may also appear if the BIOS did not allocate enough resources to the device (for example, if a (USB) universal serial bus controller is not an interruption of the BIOS because of a corrupt MPS (Multiprocessor) system table). +
    -------------------------------------

Well, what to say; usually this error message should not appear with the original Toshiba preinstalled operating system.
I put t know if you have changed something or add an additional device, but it would be very interesting to know if the same error message appears after the reinstallation of the OS.
You can use the Toshiba Recovery CD/DVD of restoration!

All the drivers, the tools are already preinstalled on the recovery CD so the entire procedure will not take very long. about 10 min.

Check this box and report if the same error is displayed on the laptop with the factory settings!

To my knowledge a registry problem was detected. This can occur when more than one service is defined for a device, if there is a failure at the opening of the service registry entry, or if the driver name cannot be obtained from the service registry entry.

As far as I know Microsoft provides these options of solution:

Click on uninstall and click Scan for hardware changes to load a usable driver.
Restart the computer using safe mode, and then select last good known Configuration. This cancels the last successful configuration of the registry.

In addition, you can try to remove the Upperfilters and the LowersFilters of this registry entry:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4 D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

If it doesn't help then access Device Manager Reinstalls the channel primary and secondary section ATA/ATAPI IDE controller and reboot.

    Good luck and bye

  • Teredo Tunneling Pseudo interface displays the code 10 in Device Manager

I have a code 10 on it. I went into the Device Manager and it says that my drivers are up to date for this device. I still have the yellow sign on it?

    Hello William,.

Thanks for posting your question on the forum of the Microsoft community.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

What is the brand and model of your computer?

This problem can occur when the device driver is missing or damaged.

Code 10 is displayed for the following reasons.

-Device Manager cannot start the device.
-One of the pilots who needs the unit does not start.
-Device Manager has insufficient information to recognize the error shows this device driver.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:
Run this Microsoft fixit and check.
    Reference:
Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows

  • Drive DVD-ROM 37 error message Code in the Device Manager on Satellite M30

    Hello

I'm new to this forum and I wonder if anyone can help? I have a Satellite installed 30-106 M which has the above CD. At present, it does not work when I go to Device Manager, the error massage that I have is that follow 'Windows cannot initialize the device of this hardware driver. (Code 37) ».

Can someone offer me some advice please.
    Thank you

    Hello

I studied in the Microsoft Knowledge base, and it seems that this error is displayed because the driver returned error in her routine to the driver entry.
I think that you need to uninstall the driver, and then click find the hardware changes to reinstall or upgrade the driver.

You can do it in Device Manager. Otherwise, you can remove the drive in the Device Manager list and after restart of the new mobile operating system should recognize the drive again.
After this procedure, you should test the device if it will work.

  • Re: Satellite L40-139 - 10 error code in the Device Manager on the wireless network card

I have a toshiba satellite L40-139 and I just instaled windows 7 64 bit on it. Since that time my atheros wireless device will not work. I tried updating the driver and windows but nothing.
In the device manager says code 10 DEVICE can NOT START.

    Help, please!

    Thank you!

    Hello

    If you read here:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/943104

The Code 10 error code is generated when the Device Manager has not enough information or error that spread upwards by device drivers is not recognized by Device Manager.
Then, go to the page of the driver and update the driver. If you do not have to win 7, try the vista driver.

This problem may also occur if you install a non-Plug-and-Play device driver, but Windows cannot find the device. Here are some things you can try to solve this problem.

If the Troubleshooting Wizard does not resolve the problem, do one of the following:

    ·        If the device was removed, uninstall the driver, connect the device, and then clickScan for the hardware changes to reinstall the driver.

    ·        If the material was not removed, the driver files may be obsolete. In this case, update the driver in Device Manager. In the device properties dialog box, click theDriver tab and then click on update driver to start the theHardware Update Wizard. Follow the instructions to update the driver.

    ·        If the device is a non-Plug-and-Play device, you may need to install a newer version of the driver. To install non-Plug-and-Play devices, use Add Hardware Wizard. Click Start, and then clickRun. In the Open box, type hdwwiz.cpl.

    Hope this information is useful.

It is not necessary to the Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface until you start to need to use IPv6 - which may not be for years.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Since it seems to be so many things, I suggest the following steps (reboots insert a lot of restarting your PC... not only restarts, but at full power down). In addition, it is recommended that you are connected to the PC on an account with full administrator rights. In addition, Vista, use the option "Run As Administrator" for everything.

    (1) remove the package to update your device OS of your PC (Add/Remove Programs)

    (2) properly uninstall the RIM DTM software:

    • KB02206 How to perform a clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software

    (3) get a new RIM DTM software download:

    • Choose the version which is more recent and (if any) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchornizing via USB):
    • KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize

    (4) to download a new copy of your package to your carrier OS device (on your PC):

    (5) install DTM on your PC

Installation of 6) (also on your PC), device OS package

    (7) start whatever you were trying again.

If all goes well, who's going to make things again.

Good luck and let us know!

  • Error code 43 in Device Manager.

I have a 43 error that keeps appearing and disappearing.  USB devices worked for a day then stopped working since.  It started sometime in March, and now they are not coming back.  The USB mouse lights up as if it was on and lights up when you move like its supposed to do but it still does not work.  The keyboard does nothing.  I am currently using a ps/2 keyboard.  I have a Windows 8 Inspiron 660 computer with a motherboard Asrock z77 pro4 and a gtx 275 graphics card.  Although my windows is not 'true' so to speak I bought it on its Web site.  I have also 2 monitors connected, one to the motherboard the other to the graphics card.  In Device Manager, the "unknown devices" are sometimes there and sometimes not.  So far, I have tried

    1. Uninstall the usb ports controllers.
    2. Download the latest drivers for my device.
    3. Update the computer several times.
    4. Unplug the unit and plug the usb devices.
    5. Plug my camera on other computers and they worked,
    6. Connect the other devices work in my computer that did not work.
    7. Thanks to the Fixit kit which does not work.

I was wondering if I pay for support and it does not solve my problem I would get a refund or not.  I have also to documents on when usb devices worked.

When the Board of Directors and the mouse worked it showed in Device Manager but the "unknown devices" is a not disappear, even if the keyboard and mouse were the only things connected.

    -Also-

I just noticed that my "Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller" has an error of 45 and he said: it's not connect.  I don't know what this means, but it may be useful.

    -----------------------------------------------Other Information----------------------------------------------------

It is an error 45 and he says its not connected, it seems important.

    Hello Roger,.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\ {4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

    d. in the pane of details, right click 'LowerFilters' and then click 'remove '.

    e. click 'Yes' when prompted.

    f. close the registry editor and restart the computer.
