  I got a new pc a few weeks and recently downloaded Firefox. I don't know if shockwave for Director came with the download. But he is listed in the PLUGINS. It displays a warning that they are vulnerable and must be updated. I don't want to do that. Although I have so far, it is not anything on the PLUGINS screen to REMOVE a plugin. That's what I want to do.   You can uninstall it from your control panel > programs and features.

  Alternatively, if you don't find it in this list, in Firefox you can enter topic: plugins in your address bar to find the location of the dll and the move/delete from there.

  I am running firefox 26 and when I discovered my plugins (Tools > Modules > Plugins), I see the two Shockwave for Director, 12.0.7.148 and 12.0.5.146. When I click on the link "Check to see if your plugins are up to date", Shockwave for Director 12.0.7.148 is the only one that is listed and also shows to date.

  Is this all true, or I have to delete 12.0.5.146 and if so how?

  You can remove the older Shockwave for Director plugin or remove the two (uninstall via Control Panel).
  
  Shockwave for Director is a different plugin than the Shockwave Flash Player and hardly use these days.

  Hello! I used the IDT Audio CODEC for Windows 7/8 for a while, but a few days ago I accidentally uninstalled the Audio driver. I searched the internet for the suitable driver for my laptop, but the audio driver listed here package seems to be broken. After downloading the package and extraction, she seems to contain the Realtek Ethernet Controller Driver (must be contained in a sp61713) instead of the Driver Audio IDT. • AVCHD missing codecs for Windows Media Player

  Somehow the codec for. MTS and. Video AVCHD M2TS files have been removed from the Windows Media Player support files. It is possible that the DivX codec, I have installed third party announced on the Internet may be the culprit. (I have since uninstalled this application.) But because Microsoft does not allow me to download a new copy of WMP, I don't know how to restore these codecs. It's embarrassing because I am a videographer and have designed and built my premium system for HD video work.

  As a side note, I have Cyberlink PowerDVD which will play Blu - Ray and other MTS and M2TS files, but I much prefer to use WMP. Suggestions how to recover my WMP components? Thanks for your suggestions.

  Thanks for your suggestions. I tried everything that you and other recommended without success, but done to restore my drive system from a backup system 3 - months. Once that all the drivers and third-party programs updates (automatically in most cases), everything worked well, and I didn't have to reinstall my Windows 7 Pro. I'm happy now. Thanks again.

  Do you have other accounts of users on this PC?  If you install this update from the main account?

  You should get the number of the update of the updated history list and then download the file here: Microsoft downloads.
  If sure that nothing else is running, and then install the update manually.  Give it a try and let us know the results.

  The file format MPEG-4, as defined by the MPEG-4 specification, contains encoded MPEG-4 video and audio content encoded AAC Advanced Audio Coding. He usually uses the .mp4 extension.

  Windows Media Player does not support playback of the .mp4 file format.

  You can reproduce .mp4 media files in Windows Media Player when you install the decoders compatible DirectShow MPEG-4 packs. MPEG-4 compatible DirectShow decoders packs include the Ligos LSX-MPEG Player and the EnvivioTV player.

  You don't say which ones you have downloaded, however if your computer has no problems you shouldn't have problems either with the above codec pack.

  Finally, I fixed my problem of codec.  It turns out that it is the 6.9.2.26 codec DIVX version.  I uninstalled all DIVX software and re-installed 6.8.5 and now everything works.  Windows Media Player 11 now play AVI encoded with mjpg, as well as Adobe first Elements 4 camera.  In addition, first elements will now load a DX50 encoded AVI, who had stopped working as well.
