    c. Once you have found the culprit which is the program that is causing the problem, then uninstall it or reinstall once more to solve the problem.

Note: Article, remember to follow 'steps to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state. "

Step 2: Remove the unwanted registry entry
    a. see the CD-R or CD-RW drive is not recognized as a recordable device

    Hello

Error 0 x 80070052 occurs usually when you try to copy files to an external storage device. You can format the drive to the FAT32 file system format and check if this solves the problem.

Come to your icons of files problem, I suggest you perform a system restore to restore the computer to an earlier point in time before the problem occurred.

One of the recurring errors in Event Viewer was the 'Source' following 'KScsiPrt ':

The description for event ID 9 source KScsiPrt is not found. Either the component that triggers this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event is on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information has been included in the event:

  • Error: "Windows could not complete the format" when you try to write to blank DVDs

I get this error when you try to copy files to a blank DVD.  I am trying to drag and drop files into the dvd player and after a small roar, the dvd ram drive stops and the error message.  Then the drive no longer recognizes blank dvd inside.  I am running Vista 32 bit and my dvd ram is a matshita dvd - ram uj880as ata.  I tried to switch to the microsoft 'FixIt' site, but the problem is not resolved.  I think that the report mentioned that the reader could recognize not writable or something to that extent.  The player can play DVDs fine, however.  Is there a solution to this problem by replacing the dvd ram drive?

    Hello

Have you tried to close all programs and then insert the disc to see what is happening? Try a slower
speed or mastered format. Have you added any burning new software lately - these tend to compete
for resources and can interfere with each other.

Should which CD or DVD format I use?
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/which-CD-or-DVD-format-should-I-use

    ====================================

You have disk problem as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (burn CD & DVD and CD and DVD read).
Therefore, it is not unusual for 1 or 2 rooms with not so work that others do it properly.

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

CD have a tolerance + - and you can write on the outside edge.

Notes on the troubleshooting and repair of readers of compact disks and CD-ROM Drives
    http://www.repairfaq.org/repair/F_cdfaq7.html#CDFAQ_014

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Try this troubleshooting:

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.
