• Recording Live event on FMS

  I have the same problem of SGF and F4V format.

  I want to archive the event live at the same time and do I record live in F4V format on the onPublish event.

  So when I use the h264 in my event source when the FMS create f4v, F4V file 320 kb (f4v is not growing) and save only 5 seconds of my event anyone my event online is more than an hour.

  But when I'm not using h264 if source my F4V file is correct and record videos 1 hour of the live event.

  I don't know what is a problem

  I use 5 FMS extended edition and FFMPEG for webcam feed to the FMS

• cannot broadcast live event via CTS

  I just upgraded to 4.5 FMS.  I am able to the event live stream via HDS, but I can't stream live events through HLS.  I can use VOD via CTS, but not live events...  Any suggestions?  I tried the HLS url directly access on my iphone and embeddeding sorts even < video > tags in a HTML file tag and gets the same results.  What I've noticed is that in my folder of the application on the server, I see that the HDS files being created.  I don't see the .ts files which I think are supposed to be created when the stream to devices HLS.

  This question is kind of vague, but I'll give you some suggestions. Just in case any of these help can provide you more information, such as this site is meant to be heard in the video and is there all programs used to display the video said.

  Method 1 - http://www.downloadhelper.net/install.php; It is an extension of the addon for firefox that works very well to video capture. If you're not using firefox, it can be easily downloaded Mozilla.

  I have not seen this question earlier. Here are the steps that you can try-

  (1) don't you erase the IE browser cache?

  (2) have you installed the DMM/SNS CERT in your browser certificate store? If so - can you remove these certificates and try to access the SNS once more?

  (3) meet you of problems by creating an event Live of DME or Non - MED Live event or both?

  (4) can you try to access SNS using Mozilla Firefox v/s IE?

  If none of the steps above only solves your problem of "Timeout" and "Live Event", please open a case of the Cisco TAC to further investigate this issue.

• When you publish to SWF format, event video does not play

  When I publish to swf format, my 2 event videos show the shell of the PlayBar and a loading bar in the upper left corner, but nothing will happen. I have set the overall security for the folder containing my published Swf project, have also made sure that videos mp4 have been posted to the folder.

  Had to have IT add the extension .mp4 on the server. Everything humming along great.  Thanks for the help guys, looks like the missing on the server .mp4 extension was the problem all the time!

  Hi, I am unable to watch TV via Media Center. In the first when asking to watch live TV, I get ERROR VIDEO coming in the display window. I also get an error message stating: not found Tuner, the tuner is defective or not installed. Make sure that the tuner hardware and a valid tuner hardware driver is installed. I'm under V5.1.2715.2941 of MCE 2005 update rollup 2. As far as I know tuner and driver are installed and OK. Would appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you very much

  The strange thing is, it only happens for a show, "Star Trek: The Next Generation" at 07:00 on channel 55 Houston.  Sometimes it is live or recorded.  Shown immediately before and immediately after about 55 works fine, as does anything on any other channel. (Although if I leave the video error for more than a few seconds, then I get an error of the tuner on the other channels until I quit Media Center and bring backup.)

  Maybe my computer is a militant fan of Star Wars?

  shows on the same channel are watchable/recordable, it is possible that a copy
  never flag is set that is manifested by the video display
  error message.

  I have a PC that I use to record TV, which is accessible by several XBOX 360 through Media center.

  This configuration was working perfectly until a few days ago. At the same time, all 3 Xbox has ceased to be able to view the recorded TV programs, or view the Live TV feed. The Media center PC was the victim of a power cut at the time, but seems to work fine.

  So far I have tried:

  1 restart both MCPC and Xbox.

  3. a new analysis of the signal to re - acquire all channels,

  4 using the Windows update to update the video card drivers.

  I am reasonably certain that the problem lies in the CMCP, but I'm not sure how to do this by how solve this problem. I have a large amount of data on the machine, so reinstalling is not really an option. AFAIK, new programs recording occurs correctly.

  All the drivers, applications, and the windows themselves are fully updated.   The error on the machine logs show no relevant error.  The operating system is Windows Vista Ultimate, 64-bit, service pack 2.  Here is a link to the power out of the msinfo32.exe execution on the server.

• video error in media center, will not play videos or DVDs

  I cannot read the DVD, Live TV, or ripped movies in Media Center on my computer (64-bit) of W7. I just upgraded to W7 (64-bit). However, I can play all content in Media Player. I read somewhere that MC uses 64-bit and 32-bit codecs MP codecs. Can I register the 64-bit codec or fix them somehow without completely re - install W7?

  I found what was the cause of my video error message in MC. I had to disable the functions of exclusive Mode on the Advanced tab in the Audio properties for my audio device.

  1. right click on the speaker icon at the bottom right of the screen

  2. click on playback devices

  3. Select your audio device by clicking on it.

  4. click on properties, below on the right.

  5. Select the Advanced tab.

  6. the functions of exclusive Mode deselect the option and click on apply.

  Who did it for me. Everything works 100% now. Finally!

  Hope this helps you or someone else here with the same problem.

  Sorry, but it is not easy to say why this is happening because your explanation is not good enough. If you use the device without any problem and this message occurs only if you want to start some video files, it may be that this file is the reason for this problem.

  As Meier said try to reinstall the display driver.
