'color cartridge error' on hp psc 1610

I replaced the cartridges, cleaned the and reset the printer.  Nothing seems to help, and it's a continual battle to try to solve this.  Please help me!  I don't know anything about computers.

    Generally, you have nothing to do when you upgrade, but you are missing the options for color with this driver.

    I would like to Uninstall the old software since you have migrated the files and the wrong driver could be installed. You can install the software by following this document.

    Check and see if you have different options in the driver now.

    I see that you have problems with ink.  I would like to help.

    I suggest to remove the cartridges and perform a power reset.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

    "I also recommend the continuation of the procedure described in this paper on a ' cartridge Incompatible ' or 'print cartridge is missing, improperly installed, or not intended for your device' Message appears on the computer.

  • HP Photosmart printer color cartridge error

    I just replaced my color cartridge with a 75xl and the message I get, is that the cartridge is not intended to be used with this printer.  According to the specifications and the user's manual, it is.  Any ideas?  I've only had the printer for a month.  I also replaced the black cartridge with a 74xl and had no problem.  These cartridges are too expensive to continue to play.

    Try to replace this ink cartridge 75Xl with one another 75XL ink cartridge. If it works, which means to say that there might be a problem with the other 75 XL and I suggest call support for it so that they can replace it if necessary.

  • Officejet 7410 - Remove and check color cartridge error message

    THiiS comes well when printing. Removed, checked and put back, and it was no help. Replacement cartridge and the message remained. Cannot print even in B & W with color removed cartridge. Can not scan or fax then this error message is displayed and I can't delete it.

    Use Office Depot cartridges rebuilt for more than a year without any problems before.

    Updated - I sent an e-mail to HP support. They responded and gave me the order to use to print a Tap 10 report. Had to go to FedEx Kinko's to have scanned and put on a memory stick ($0.99). And sent to HP as an attachment. Two hours later, they responded stating that the cartridge was bad. Strange that took place with 2 cartridges Office Depot, but in any case I took the cartridge back to Office Depot and they exchangec (more than $8.00) for genuine HP. Plugged inside and problem solved. Congratulations to Office Depot and HP support.

    Fortunately, there is an article by HP Knowledge Base that talks about this problem. Please follow the solution provided in the article below to solve the problem.

    Remove it and check [color / black / photo] error message appears on the screen of control of product and the product does not print.

  • Printer send error reports all-in-one HP PSC 2355 'remove and check color cartridge '.

    When sending of works for the all-in-one printer HP PSC 2355 of my laptop Acer Aspire with Windows XP and a USB connecton,

    I get an error message on the screen flip to say remove and check color cartridge. I do this, but nothing has changed and now the switch does not work either as a result I can't do anything, it's just frozen.

    If anyone can help I would be very gratefull, but please remember that I am a complete novice with these things.

    Because the printer is frozen we will start by doing a reset of the printer. Instructions available via this link and posted directly below as well.

    Follow these steps to perform a reset of the product.
  • Align the PSC 750 printer ink cartridge error message.

    I just replaced only the black cartridge in my printer PSC 750.  (Will replace the color cartridge later as my money allows.) The printer is connected to my laptop, MacBookPro, under OS X, version 10.6 operating system.  After replacing the cartridge, I ran a self-evaluation report.  It seemed to run correctly.  No color cartridge only test model because there is no ink in the cartridge.  Then I ran the process to align the print cartridge which gives an error on the printer.  It displays "error: Align page not detected" when I clearly placed the page alignment on the scanner glass.  Tried this process several times and each time I get this error message.

    Could it happen because I have not yet replaced the color cartridge?  If not, then what?

    Alignment requires the black and cyan (or was it yellow on this model?) part of the color cartridge to print for correct alignment.  If you have an old copy of the alignment page you can use it, although the alignment would be suboptimal.

    Soak the printhead of the cartridge 78 in 1 "hot water for ten minutes and then gently the printhead from drying and put it back in the printer may allow enough ink complete the alignment page.

    Newbie question here. I just got a PSC-720, second hand, and he tells me that there is a problem with the color cartridge. This is no problem for me in principle - I just want to actually print black and white. I'd be able to run it with just the black cartridge?     The PSC 720 needs to have both cartridges installed at work.  The color cartridge is empty, but it must be electrically sound.  Can help to clean the contacts of the cartridge and printer, as shown in the paper here.

    In the paper here troubleshooting steps may help resolve the cartridge error on your Officejet 7310xi.  If the printer contacts and the cleaning cartridge does not resolve the question, and then check the spring as shown on this page.  If the spring is detached and has punctured the flex (2), that you have to fix the printer.  If the spring is dislodged, but did not damage the flex circuits (1) and then some have reported success with the spring in place.

    If the previous steps do not resolve the problem, you can remove the color cartridge and print in black only.  The printer will not copy or receive a fax with a missing cartridge and an error message appears on the printer screen (and perhaps on the computer), but the printer will print using the black cartridge to print black and gray areas of color versions.

  • cartridge error HP psc 1210 all-in-one

    I replaced the cartridge from the printer, cleaned and reinserted it several times. The contacts on the cartridge air clean, and the contacts inside the printer air clean.  The results are intermittent. Of course, when I remove the color cartridge I get impression black ok. I wonder if there is probably a problem with the contacts in the printer, so that even if they are clean, contacts are not deployed. Otherwise, it's a problem of internal material just with the color circuit. Or is there a way to tell. The "check print cartridge" light flashes, it is not very revealing.

    First thing I would recommend would be to remvoe the cartridges and reset the power supply.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds.     I have a HP all in one 7400 printer / / scanner/copier/fax. All of a sudden I get an error 'remove and check color cartridge. I made several times and cleaned all of the excess ink that I see. The printer/turn off has no effect. Disconnection/reconnection of power also no effect. Any suggestions on other solutions?

    I had the same problem with my HP Officejet 7410 so cleaned the contacts of carriage and ink cartridge by directions on this link:

    After my first attempt to cleaning these contacts, I reinserted the cartridge and tried to print again, but I got the same error message.  Then I removed the cartridges (color & black) of their slots and after transport, I discovered the lower part of the cart was covered with ink, pointing a flashlight so... using more than a dozen cotton pads, I cleaned the bottom of the cart at best.  In addition, thinking that maybe the ink cartridge no was not manufactured exactly the right size and shape, when I inserted the cartridges in their slots I slightly pressed them to make sure the contacts could touch.

    I was happy to see that now the error message is gone and my printer print again... Oh well, at least for now.

  • PSC 1610 all-in-one several error messages

    Hi and thank you for providing this service.  I have a PSC 1610 all-in-one, bought in August 2005 which is used with a Compaq Presario Windows XP (they were purchased as a Pack).  I started to receive error messages, more which start with 0 x, I have determined is an ink system failure.  Sometimes the messages sometimes say 'failed to initialize' or 'hw_interrupt '. At this point, I can use the power button on the 1610 and it restarts, sometimes producing a print.  Other times he repeats just with a different error message.

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software from the original CD, and also did the instructions on here regarding unplug USB cable, power unit, waiting, etc.  but unfortunately, I'm still having the same problems.

    I guess my questions are 1) is there anything else I can try to solve the problem and get back to happily print my genealgical research and/or 2) because the machine obviously lack of professional maintenance and it's so old, I would be better off just buying a new all-in-one?  (New Anthing I would buy would have both with this older Presario and a laptop HP 3 year running Windows Vista).

    I'm guessing you've already gone through the steps described in this document?  If so, on the only option I know is him having served.  In answer to your other question, with the price of all-in-one now, it is probably a better option to just buy a new one.  You can find the plug on current on this site printers.  You can do some comparisons between several printers to see what OSs are supported.  Wish I had better news.

    where cartridge inserts, Reinserted. Worked OK for a week, then the message reappeared. While

    week, did not have access cartridges, just be added paper. Using genuine HP cartridges only!

    Looks like the error got stuck in the printer memory.  A hard reset should clear.

    To do a hard reset:

    1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.
    2. Pull out the power cord from the printer.
    3. Pull out the power cord from the wall.
    4. Wait 30 seconds.
    5. Plug everything up and turn on the printer.

    That should clear the error.  Let me know what happens.
